对于表示将来时间的词语提问,用how soon对比:关于how long,how often ,how soon的用法(1) how long表示多长时间,主要用来对一段时间(如three days, four weeks 等)提问。

A:How long did he stay here? 他在这儿呆了多久?B:About two weeks. 大约两个星期。

(2) How long表示某东西有多长。

A:How long is the river? 这条河有多长?B:About 500 km. 大约500千米。

(3) how often 指每隔多久,用来对频度副词或状语(如:once a week, three times a month等)提问。

A:How often does he come here? 他(每隔)多久来一次?B:Once a month. 每月一次。

(4)how soon 指再过多久,用来对表示将来的一段时间(如:in an hour, in two weeks 等)提问。

It's impossible to finish so much work in an hour.(3)在公共场合随地吐痰是不好的。

It's bad to spit in public.延伸:(1)it's + adj. for sb to do sth 做某事对于某事是怎样的(2)it's +adj. of sb to do sth 某人做某事是怎样的练习: (1)This question is difficult to answer.=_______is difficult_________answer the question.3.To avoid hitting the truck. avoid (doing) sth. 避免,躲开e.g. You should avoid doing that again。

类似avoid 后面要跟v-ing 的动词还有:miss , enjoy , mind , practise,allow , risk,finish ,imagine,常用的词都列在里面了。

III.grammar (语法:条件状语从句)1.定义:由if(如果,假如),unless(除非),in case (万一),as long as (只要)等词和短语引导的从句。

2.结构:1) 主将(主句用一般将来时)从现(if从句用一般现在时)2) 主情(主句含有情态动词)从现3) 主祈(主句是祈使句)从现e.g. (1) If you are happy, you will laugh.(2)If you are happy, you can laugh.(3)If you are happy, clap your hands.(4)If I have free time, I will travel around the world.(5)If I have free time , I must go home.(6)If I have free time, stay at home and sleep late.3.考点:1)从现(从句用一般现在时态代替将来时态,不能用将来时态)2) If 条件状语从句句型的转换(1)祈使句+and+ 句子(谓语动词常用一般将来时) =if 从句(肯定), + 句子e.g.(1)Come early and you will see her.
