一、教学内容与分析
1. Reading for knowledge
本部分介绍了科学家乘宇宙飞船在太空所看到的美丽的地球,如土地、碧海、白云和一条可能是中国长城的黑线。
2. Thinking tasks
本部分通过3个问题的呈现,为学生阅读短文提供了任务依据,学生带着问题去阅读,增强了阅读的针对性,有利于提高阅读效果。
3. Look them up
本部分列出了短文中出现的部分生词,省略号部分为不同层次学生提供了学习的空间,可以将自己需要查阅的单词无限拓展。
学生在查阅字典的过程中,逐渐形成适合自己的学习策略,有效地将生词的音、形、义结合在一起。

2. 中国成功登月球、中国美景的两段视频。
三、教学步骤与建议
1. 热身/复习( Warm-up / Revision)
上节复习课,教师要求学生回家后将本单元第13〜18课内容录音。
在本节课上,教师播放2〜3名学生录音片断,请同学们猜是谁的声音,并评价读得如何,以评促学。
2. 新课呈现(Presentation)
1) 视频导入
播放2013年I2月15日,中国嫦娥三号和“玉兔”号巡视器成功“互拍”的视频,五星红旗成功登陆月球,中国由此成为“太空强国”。
视频导入的方式可以有效吸引学生的注意力,顺利导入本课话题。
2) 问题激趣
教师以聊天的方式,引导同学们发表个人观点:What did the scientists see in a spaceship? Have a guess.此环节激活学生背景知识,发挥学生的创造力和想象力,
发展学生的发散性思维。
3) 阅读理解
阅读前教师布置学生阅读后需回答的问题:What did the scientists see in a
spaceship? 学生打开书,边阅读边整体理解语篇,将不理解的词句做标记。
遇到学生不认识的词句,教师引导学生根据会话语境猜测、理解语义,然后启发学生通过查字典验证自己的猜测。
