• The story of The Kite Runner is rooted in real political and historical of Afghan monarchy in the 1970s to the post-Taliban near present. • When the author wrote this book, it was 911 happend to America. It was be afraid that the book would be resisted by Americans. Turns out, it not only arouse many people’s emotions, but also changed American people’s hostile attitude to Afghanistani. For this reason of the great affection, the author won the UN humanitarian award.

• The novel the kite runner was written by the first person perspective, it tells us a story about a Afghan boy who migrated United States. The whole story is a process of redemption for what he had done wrong when he was a child.
