“Reading―――A NIGHT THE EARTH DIDN’T SLEEP”具体描写1976年唐山大地震的震前、震中和震后。

本篇文章词汇量大,使用了大量的动词、复杂的数字,出现很多定语从句,篇幅较长,并且采用一些修辞手法,对学生的语言阅读水平提出了更高的要求。

但文章的结构较明显,通过阅读学生能够找出各个段落的主题句。
