1.Where’s my pencil box?我的铅笔盒在哪儿?
本句是由where引导的特殊疑问句。

where adv.“(疑问副词)在哪里”,用来引导特殊疑问句,对某人或某物所在的位置(地点)进行提问。

回答时,要根据具体情况作答。

Where are the pencils?铅笔在哪里?

2.They’re on the sofa.它们在沙发上。

本句是含有主系表结构的简单句。

they 是主语,are是系动词,介词短语on the sofa作表语。

on prep. “在……上面”,强调某物在另一物的表面上。

钢笔在桌子上。
