调查报告英文As an author of a Baidu Wenku document, I would like to present a comprehensive investigation report on the topic of "The Impact of Social Media on Mental Health". In recent years, the rise of social media platforms has significantly changed the way people communicate, share information, and interact with one another. However, along with the benefits, there are concerns about the potential negative effects of excessive social media use on mental health.First and foremost, it is important to acknowledge the positive aspects of social media. These platforms have enabled people to connect with friends and family, share experiences, and access a wide range of information and resources. Social media has also provided a platform for people to raise awareness about important social issues and connect with like-minded individuals. Additionally, social media has been instrumental in promoting mental health awareness and providing support for those struggling with mental health issues. However, despite these positive aspects, there is growing evidence to suggest that excessive use of social media can have detrimental effects on mental health. Studies have shown that prolonged use of social media can lead to feelings of loneliness, anxiety, and depression. The constant exposure to curated and often unrealistic portrayals of others' lives can contribute to feelings of inadequacy and low self-esteem. Moreover, the addictive nature of social media can lead to a decrease in real-life social interactions and a lack of meaningful connections, further exacerbating feelings of isolation and loneliness.Furthermore, the phenomenon of cyberbullying has become a significant concern in the context of social media. The anonymity and perceived distance of online interactions can embolden individuals to engage in harmful behavior, leading to emotional distress and psychological harm for the victims. The constant pressure to present an idealized version of oneself on social media can also contribute to heightened levels of stress and anxiety, as individuals feel the need to constantly curate and maintain a perfect online persona. In response to these concerns, it is crucial for individuals to be mindful of their social media usage and its potential impact on their mental well-being. Setting boundaries and limits on social media use, engaging in offline activities, and seeking support from friends, family, or mental health professionals are important steps in maintaining a healthy balance. It is also essential for social media platforms to take responsibility in promoting positive and supportive online environments, as well as implementing measures to combat cyberbullying and harmful content. In conclusion, while social media has undoubtedly transformed the way we connect and communicate, it is important to recognize and address the potential impact of excessive social media use on mental health. By promoting awareness, fostering supportive online communities, and encouraging healthy habits, we can strive to harness the positive aspects of social media while mitigating its negative effects on mental well-being.。

The influence of mobile games on teenagersGroup members:Yao Chi,Gu Xiang,Zhu Zepeng, MaZhicheng , Wang ChuanKey words: mobile games teenagers addiction effectsAbstract:With smart phones coming into widespread use, numerous people begin to spend time playing mobile games. Some teenagers even get addicted to mobile games. In this report, we will elaborate both positive and negative effects of mobile games. Through questionnaire, we find that disadvantages of mobile games outweigh its advantages. Addiction to mobile games exists in some teenagers, but it is not a very common phenomenon in life. Most of them play mobile games moderately for fun or to kill time.Introduction:With the development of social software and the widespread use of smart phones, numerous people spend much time playing mobile games. It even becomes an integral part of people’s life. Mobile game has turned to be a new entertainment activity for us.What is more, it is very easy and enjoyable for us to play mobile games whenever and wherever because mobile phone is easy to carry. And mobile games become a new estate, many people benefit from it and a lot of money is thrown into this new-born estate. There are many advertisements about mobile games which attract many young people. It is hard for teenagers to control themselves. To make matters worse, some people even become addicted to mobile games.Although there has been increasing publications over the past years on mobile games recently, the previous research did not investigate the reason for addiction to mobile games clearly. It still remains unknown about the common idea of young people about mobile games. So, it is essential to discover both positive and negative effects of mobile games. Some research was conducted and we can draw some specific conclusions through this research. Most teenagers will play mobile games and are able to control themselves. They think mobile games have both benefits and harm. Reasons for the popularity of mobile games are found out as well.Methodology:This survey was conducted by means of questionnaire and the respondents of the questionnaire mainly are college students. The questionnaire contains nine questions which have four single choice questions and five multiple choice questions. This questionnaire mainly focuses on the age composition of mobile game player and which effect will mobile games have on us. The questionnaire was distributed through internet and finally we get sixty responds from internet. All the respondents are college students. Twenty-six of respondents are male and the rest of respondents are female.Besides the questionnaire, we have other way to collect information. We found some books in the library to collect professional information about the reasons why people play mobile games. We also collect the results of previous research from internet to elevate our original thoughts about mobile games. The literature review help develop the progress of drawing results. Finally, we conduct several interviews about people’s opinion on mobile games. We have five interviewees who are our classmates. All of our interviewees are men, we asked them several questions about their opinion on mobile games. After recycling questionnaires, we analyze the data and combine the conclusion with our results got from interview. Then we use these data to make bar charts which show the frequency of playing mobile games and the purposes of playing mobile games. Results:We investigated 65 people. From the bar chart above, we can see that the horizontal axis is the frequency of playing games and the vertical axis represents the number of people.Besides, we can see that 22percent of people never play mobile games; 48 percent sometimes play mobile games; 18 percent often play mobile games; and12percent of people are always playing mobile games when they are free. So, we can find that most people will play mobile games. From this bar chart, we can see that the horizontal axis is the purpose of playing games and the vertical axis represents the number of people. It is obvious to find most of people play mobile games to kill time and a lot of people play mobile games just because it is portable. However, we can still find that some people have “mobile phone dependence”. They are just unwilling to put mobile phone down. However, there are a lot of people who are addicted to the mobile games and cannot control themselves. Let’s see the bar chart above. We can see most people can control the time they spend on playing mobile games, but there are still a large number of people who cannot control themselves, thus bringing bad effects to their lives.Discussion:First of all, here are answers to some previous problems.1.We want to find out whether mobile games are completely bad for us or not.According to the questionnaire, most people believe that the biggest benefit is to enjoy themselves. Compared with many serious bad effects, we can draw the conclusion that the disadvantages of mobile games outweigh the advantages.2.It is irreversible for mobile games to become a new entertainment way formodern people, we want to find out whether there is a balance between our daily life and virtual life. Most participants have no problem in controlling themselves. We advise that teenagers who are addicted to mobile games should ask their roommates to supervise them and play outdoors to shift their attention.3.Are mobile games really bad for people? What are mobile games’ adverse effects on health? As the questionnaire shows, bad effects are influencingdaily life, doing harm to our eyesight and study, etc.4. Besides mobile games’ adverse effects, mobile games do good to ussomewhat. We try to find out mobile games’ positive effects on man.Everyone needs to rest, so it is not reasonable to having fun. Playing games isa good way to relax for some teenagers, thus making them prepared wellfor the work to come. Also, there are some other advantages such asentertaining ourselves and training humans’ brains.5.In addition to mobile games’ effect on individuals, we also manage to findout mobile games’ social effect. With regard to this question, it is hard togive comprehensive answers because participants are rather limited. Theonly conclusion is that bad effects are existent, but not as serious asimagined. It may be because mobile games are not as attractive an somecomputer games. At the same time, it reflects that our research is necessary. We proposed this topic and do research into teenagers by questionnaire and collect much data to get proper results. Compared with expected results, we achieved our goals and draw some clear conclusions. However, we may overestimate the bad effects of mobile games. There are not many people addicted to mobile games. Our research has some disadvantages too. The number and age of participants are limited, which influences the results of questionnaire. The form of research is also limited, just including questionnaire and interview. Conclusion:As a conclusion, we find that mobile games do have positive effects on teenagers.A considerable number of teenagers spend time playing mobile games which will do harm to not only their eyesight but also to their mental health. To make matters worse, people who are addicted to mobile games can even threat our society. So, we can do something to help them get rid of the addiction to mobile games. For example, we can talk to them and show them the bad effects brought by mobile games addiction. On the other hand, if proper time is spent on mobile games , there will be some benefits such as entertaining and relaxing humans’ bodies. It is quite important for people to achieve a balance between having no rest and playing mobile games too much. We can also see that some people never play mobile games .It will be better if they choose other ways to relax, like exercising or shopping. In all, the disadvantages of mobile games outweigh the advantages. Teenagers should learn to control themselves and achieve a balance between work and relaxing. Reference:1.LIANG Wei-ke(2011).

IntroductionIn recent years, the number of college students has been increasing significantly worldwide. This has led to a growing interest in understanding various aspects of college life, such as academics, social life, and mental health. The purpose of this investigation report is to analyze the current status of college students, with a specific focus on academic performance, extracurricular activities, and psychological well-being. MethodologyTo collect data for this investigation report, a survey was conducted among college students from various universities. A total of 500 students participated in the survey, with an equal distribution between freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. The survey consisted of multiple-choice and open-ended questions, providing a comprehensive understanding of the subjects under investigation.FindingsAcademic PerformanceThe survey revealed that the majority of college students (75%) reported being satisfied with their academic performance. However, when asked about their study habits, only 45% claimed to have a well-established routine and dedicated sufficient time to studying. This indicates a potential discrepancy between satisfaction and actual study efforts.Interestingly, the survey showed that 65% of college students admitted to procrastinating regularly, which could explain the aforementioned discrepancy. Procrastination was reported to be mainly due to the influence of social media (52%), lack of motivation (32%), and poor time management skills (16%). Extracurricular ActivitiesExtracurricular activities play an essential role in shaping a college student's overall experience. The investigation found that 80% of college students actively participate in at least one extracurricular activity. The most popular activities among respondents were sports (40%), club memberships (30%), andvolunteering (25%).The survey also highlighted that participating in extracurricular activities had a positive impact on students' personal development. Students reported improved time management skills (60%), increased confidence (40%), and better networking opportunities (35%) as direct benefits of their involvement.Psychological Well-beingDespite the academic and extracurricular demands, college students' mental health remains a critical concern. The investigation revealed that 70% of college students experience stress on a regular basis, with academics being the primary source (60%). Other significant stressors included financial pressures (20%) and social expectations (15%).To cope with stress, 45% of respondents indicated engaging in self-care activities such as exercise, meditation, and spending time with friends. However, 30% admitted to resorting to unhealthy coping mechanisms, such as substance abuse or excessive consumption of junk food.ConclusionIn conclusion, this investigation report sheds light on the current status of college students' academic performance, involvement in extracurricular activities, and psychologicalwell-being. It highlights the need for students to develop effective study habits, manage time wisely, and address procrastination tendencies. Additionally, it emphasizes the benefits of engaging in extracurricular activities for personal development and highlights the importance of promoting mental health awareness and providing support systems for college students.Understanding the challenges faced by college students is crucial for educators, institutions, and policymakers to create an environment that fosters academic success, personal growth, and overall well-being.。

When do you wake up and sleep?I have done a survey about when do college people sleep atnight and wake up in tomorrow. As every know,no a well sleep youwill nerver had a heathy body and wise life stye!Frist of all,we ask some my classmate when do they wake up.AndI figure out their data of time.Sure,I also write down my owndata, because I also is one of them. I usually go asleep in 0o`clock and I know many of my classmate more later.Such as, my dormitory four people except me in who have two offten go Asleep at 1`o clock, other go asleep at 11:00.Of course, how can you awake when you go aleep so late,I offenrise from my bed from 8:00 to 9:00 and others are more later! Our body tell us no a good sleep will infelence our mood and jugement.you will do anythings better as others who take a goodrest and sleepping.I reach some website get some useful masseges.Younger adultswho get either little sleep or a lot of it may see a greater expansion in their waistlines over time, a study published suggests.Researchers found that among black and Hispanic adults youngerthan 40, those who typically slept for five hours or lesseach night had a greater accumulation of belly fat over the next five years, versus those who averaged six or seven hours. The study, reported in the journal Sleep, does not prove that too little or too much sleep directly leads to excess fat gain. But the findings support and extend those of other studies linking sleep duration - particularly a lack of sleep - to weight gain and even to higher risks of diabetes and heart disease. The study included 332 African-American and 775 Hispanic-American men and women ages 18 to 81. At the outset, all reported on their sleep habits, diets, exercise levels and other lifestyle factors. The researchers used CT scans to measure participants’abdominal fat, at the start of the study and again five years later.Among participants younger than 40, the study found, those who said they slept for five hours or less each night gained more belly fat than those who averaged six or seven hours of sleep. On average, short sleepers showed a 32 percent gain in visceral fat, versus a 13 percent gain among those who slept six or seven hours per night, and a 22 percent increase among men and women who got at least eight hours of sleep each night.A similar pattern was seen with superficial abdominal fat. The findings, according to lead researcher Dr. Kristen G.Hairston, of Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, support the belief that sleep habits affect weight, and health in general. "Sleep is an important part of your overall health - not just in whether you’re tired during the day," she said.Consistently sleeping six to eight hours per night may be optimal for health. The duration of sleep should be regarded as an additional behavioural risk factor, or risk marker, influenced by the environment and possibly amenable to change through both education and counselling as well as through measures of public health aimed at favourable modifications of the physical and working environments."How much sleep is enough? If you get less sleep than the ideal amount but you feel fine, could you be damaging your health anyway? Are we getting less than we used to? Recent research provides some surprising answers.Adults typically need seven to nine hours of sleep each night to feel fully rested and function at their best. However, Americans are getting less sleep than they did in the past. A 2005 National Sleep Foundation poll found that Americans averaged 6.9 hours of sleep per night, which represents a drop of about two hours per night since the 19th century, one hourper night over the past 50 years, and about 15 to 25 minutes per night just since 2001.Unfortunately, we are not very good at perceiving the detrimental effects of sleep deprivation. Researchers at the University of Pennsylvania restricted volunteers to less than six hours in bed per night for two weeks. The volunteers thought they were functioning relatively normally. However, formal testing showed that their cognitive abilities and reaction times progressively declined during the two weeks. By the end of the two-week test, they were as impaired as subjects who had been awake continuously for 48 hours. Moreover, cognitive and mood problems may not be the only consequences of too little sleep. Researchers at the University of Chicago have shown that too little sleep changes the body's secretion of some hormones. The changes promote appetite, reduce the sensation of feeling full after a meal, and alter the body's response to sugar intake—changes that can promote weight gain and increase the risk of developing diabetes.A study by Susan Redline and colleagues at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine showed an inverse correlation between sleep duration and obesity in high-school-age students. The shorter the sleep, the higher thelikelihood of being overweight, with those getting six to seven hours of sleep more than two and a half times as likely to be overweight as those getting more than eight hours. The good news is that these effects can be reversed by getting an adequate amount of sleep. The University of Chicago study on sleep duration and appetite found that allowing the study subjects to sleep 10 hours for two consecutive nights returned the hormones to normal levels and lowered hunger and appetite ratings by almost 25 percent. In the end ,with a healthy life stye your life will get more Opportunity to success!。
