8A Unit3 A day out 单元整体设计本单元的七大板块部分基本上都围绕“A day out”这一话题展开,语言技能和语言知识都是依据这一话题而设计训练的。

这一话题非常贴近学生生活实际,学生会非常感兴趣,因此在教学过程中,应充分调动学生的积极性,鼓励学生大胆开口,运用英语表达外出旅游的感受,通过对话交流自己的一些旅游心得,帮助学生拓展课外知识,更好地了解世界。

Welcome板块通过卡通漫画导入本单元的话题“A day out”,是以非常逗笑的方式引出外出旅游的话题。

这一课时要求学生掌握相关的重要词语和主要的句式“What are you going to do?”Reading板块学生通过Linda写给她妈妈的信,学习大量的词汇、短语及相关表达;同时了解一些著名城市和景点。

在这一课时中,学生要学会运用正确的阅读方法来提高自己的阅读技能,提高阅读速度,快速找出关键词,了解中心大意,全面提升自己的阅读水平。

We went to the World Park by a coach from Sunshine Town. It took half an hour to get to the Park from school. There was too much traffic on the city roads. We became very excited when we saw the pyramids from the coach. The Eiffel Tower is very tall and it is made of stone. There are over one thousand places of interest there. The pyramids looked just like the real ones in the USA. It was an amazing day but the best part was the music parade. Daniel made a special home page for the trip.
