8A Unit3 A day out 单元整体设计本单元的七大板块部分基本上都围绕“A day out”这一话题展开，语言技能和语言知识都是依据这一话题而设计训练的。
这一话题非常贴近学生生活实际，学生会非常感兴趣，因此在教学过程中，应充分调动学生的积极性，鼓励学生大胆开口，运用英语表达外出旅游的感受，通过对话交流自己的一些旅游心得，帮助学生拓展课外知识，更好地了解世界。
Welcome板块通过卡通漫画导入本单元的话题“A day out”，是以非常逗笑的方式引出外出旅游的话题。
这一课时要求学生掌握相关的重要词语和主要的句式“What are you going to do?”Reading板块学生通过Linda写给她妈妈的信，学习大量的词汇、短语及相关表达；同时了解一些著名城市和景点。

The pyramids looked just like the real ones in the USA. It was an amazing day but the best part was the music parade. Daniel made a special home page for the trip.
