本节课型定位为以话题为核心的阅读课型,本节课的文章是学生们进入初中以来教材中遇到的最长的一篇阅读文章,主要谈论一个学生熟知的美国卡通形象—Mickey,让学生通过阅读了解卡通片在美国文化中的地位,特别是Mickey的诞生和成名过程以及人们喜欢他的原因。
在策略上,通过讨论、阅读策略(skim,scan, carefully reading)的训练达到理解文本,推理综合完成本课任务的目的,在文化品格上,通过学习Section B的文章,培养学生多元思维能力,并学习Mickey的永不言弃的精神,本节课内容多,教学任务重,但本课在整个单元中起到了深化和扩展的作用。
学情分析任教的八年级10班11班的学生在和老师一年的共同努力下,大部分学生对英语产生了浓厚的兴趣,能主动参与课堂活动,并积极配合老师。
但还是有一部分底子差,上课完全凭兴趣,总体上两极分化很大。
在口语表达上,一部分学生表达能力较强,也有部分学生习惯于只用单词或者短语来回答问题,对于整句输出和深层思考,阐述观点的段落输出能力以及总结归纳能力还有待进一步提高,还有很难开口的学生。
这就需要老师最大程度地去创设英语语言环境,也需要把阅读课设计的有趣有层次以吸引每个层次的学生参与并学有所获。
教学目标语言能力:学习能力:学生能结合前面所学知识,以主体身份参与学习活动;学生能通过层层递进的课堂任务,实践自己的感知观察能力,进而加深对文本的理解;学生能通过读后活动,培养自己的合作学习意识与概括能力。
