写作Business Report
商务报告英语作文万能

As a high school student with a keen interest in business and economics, Ive always been fascinated by the art of crafting a compelling business report. Its not just about presenting facts and figures its about telling a story that resonates with the audience, whether they are stakeholders, investors, or fellow students in a business class. When I first started learning how to write a business report, I was overwhelmed by the complexity of it all. There were so many elements to consider: the executive summary, the introduction, the body of the report, the analysis, the conclusion, and the recommendations. But as I delved deeper, I realized that theres a certain structure, a universal formula, if you will, that can be applied to most business reports. The first step in any business report is to understand the purpose. Why are you writing this report? What do you want your audience to know or do after reading it? This purpose will guide the entire report, from the initial research to the final recommendations.Once the purpose is clear, the next step is to gather the necessary data. This could involve conducting surveys, analyzing financial statements, or reviewing market trends. The key is to ensure that the data is relevant, accurate, and uptodate. In my school projects, Ive found that using a mix of primary and secondary sources often provides the most comprehensive view. With the data in hand, the next challenge is to organize it in a way that tells a clear and compelling story. This is where the structure of the reportcomes into play. The executive summary should provide a highlevel overview of the report, highlighting the key findings and recommendations. The introduction should set the context and explain the significance of the report. The body of the report is where the bulk of the information is presented. Its important to organize this information logically, often using headings and subheadings to guide the reader through the report. This is also where Ive learned to use tables, charts, and graphs to help illustrate key points and trends.Analysis is a critical component of any business report. Its not enough to simply present the data you need to interpret it and explain what it means. This is where critical thinking skills come into play. You need to consider different perspectives, identify trends, and draw insights that are not immediately obvious. The conclusion of the report should summarize the key findings and reinforce the main points. Its also the place to present your recommendations, which should be clear, actionable, and based on the analysis presented in the report. Finally, the appendices can provide additional information or data that supports the report but is not essential to the main argument. This could include detailed financial statements, survey questionnaires, or additional graphs and tables. One of the most important aspects of writing a business report is the language. It should be clear, concise, and professional. Avoid jargon and use language that is accessible to your audience. In my experience, using active voice and short sentences can make the report more engaging and easier to read.In conclusion, while every business report is unique, there are certain universal principles that can guide the writing process. By understanding the purpose, gathering relevant data, organizing the information logically, analyzing the data, and presenting clear recommendations, you can create a business report that is both informative and persuasive. And as I continue to develop my skills in this area, Im excited about the opportunities that lie ahead, whether its writing reports for school projects, participating in business competitions, or eventually contributing to realworld business decisions.。

Our company, TWCB,as requested the solution by Harrods department store’s manager, we immediately looked into the matter and found three problems which may have caused the decreasing. The fiscal third quarter of this fiscal year will end in two months. We will do everything to solve the problems before customers switch and never to return. In this report, I will describe the problems we found in the department store and propose three possible measures to solve them and the estimated cost.1. Purpose, Scope, and ChallengesPurpose: the purpose of this report is to analyze what caused the problem and how can we solve it as soon as possible. The report gives the result of the investigation.Scope: we immediately formed two teams, one of which checked the department store regularly and the other conducted a survey on customer. The first team hangs around the store for 7 days in a row and constantly does some shopping to see how the service feels like. The second team designed questionnaires collecting customer’s comments on the store. The result was not as bad as we had expected. But the store should do something before it becomes a real problem.the department store has been facing tremendouschallenges and pressure as the number of competitions grows at high speed each year. For instance, some customers select one store visitregularly out of ten. Our store is facing increasing competitive pressure.商务英语写作business report――increase the dep artment store's profit2. MethodsWe conducted the investigation through two methods: interviews and questionnaires. We sent out 1000 questionnaires and 800 customers responded to them. 300 customers chosen randomly from customer questionnaire’s nu mbers were interviewed.Part TwoThe Decreasing Profits in Harrods Department StoreIn last six months, there’s sharply profits fell showed on the financial reporting form Harrods department store. We did research on the decreasing problem.1. 25% Decreasing compared with 2022年After the research, we found that under the strategy of Harrods, to offer a wide choice of products and personalized service, the department store has worked well until recently. Last year, however, profits fell sharply and results for the first six months of this year have been disappointing. Then we did a comparing with this store’s profits from January to June in 2022年and 2022年, there is the chart:2. Competition’s Average Profits in 2022年2022年商务英语写作business report――increase the department store'sprofit3.532.521.510.5From the table, we can see that, when Harrods department store’s profits decreasing sharply in this two year, the competition has grown a lot; it gives us a great competitive pressure at now and future. We need to do something to change the bad situation.3. Major Causes of the DecreasingFrom the research, we can see the major problems which caused the decreasing, and we summarized them as follows:As we only focused on some high-quality products, we can’t expand market share in other aspects, our market positioning is inflexible. As economic globalization becomes strong, our foreign market should develop more deep and widely. Our strategy is good, but it didn’t pay attention to nowadays shopping fashion. Service concept was out of date.We must take concrete measures to solve all the problems.商务英语写作business report――increase the department store's profitImpact on Harrods Department storeThe decreasing of the profits not only made damage to the economic interests of Harrods department store, it wills also jeopardizing the Harrods’ brand reputation and then when we need more funds to increase the profits will be very hard.1. More Funds Needed to Increasing ProfitsIndeed to increasing the department store’s profits, we should do a lot of research and work. To make a perfect solution, all the projects will spend a lot of money to get the most accurate answer. During the whole things, we will cooperate with many famous companies on investigation or doing business expanding. To make sure everything is moving on schedule and is within the budget, we will make an accurate expense, and expect to complete the project without exceeding the budget.2. Jeopardizing the Harrods’ Brand ReputationWith the result of our questionnaire, we can see that: among the 800 customers, 650 are employees and rests of them are teenagers and senior citizens. In the employees group, 25% of them with an annual income of 100, 0000£or more, and others annual income is about 30, 000 to 80,000£. The high income group didn’t show any unsatisfactory to the service and product. But in the middle income group, many of them want valuefor money and to feel they have got a bargain and services which make life easier or save time, which they think Harrods can’t serve well.商务英语写作business report――increase the department store's profitMethods for Increasing the ProfitsThe working team has worked out methods to increase the profits of the department store. We will depend on marketing positioning, foreign market, and training new service concept as our main approaches to our customers.Three Ways to Increasing the ProfitsTo attract customers we will rebuild our department store to make a place for some discount goods. And in other city area, like communities and shopping mall, we will set up some convenience stores, discount stores and speciality stores as competition did. But as the long history and special brand charm we has, our stores will be very different from others. We will develop a new message to our potential customers, that “Luxury culture also can be an Approachable culture.” The message together with pictures showing features of our new stores will be advertised in the local papers, magazines, and our new catalogs.Although __ is a successful department store in London and has many chain stores in New York and Italian, we can’t ignore the mega consumer market in some Asian countries, like China and Japan. These countries owna large consumer population, which makes them consumer markets with great potentials. So we should try to connect with those local business men to expand our foreign retail chains and develop foreign markets. With a survey shows that: as the English population ages, oldergroups will provide opportunities for sales growth. And nowadays the English consumers want value for money and to feel they have got a bargain. Britain is moving from a luxury culture to a convenience culture. People want services which make life easier or save time. So the old service concept was out of date, we should do a series of trainings to improve staff’s awareness of the shopping fashion and商务英语写作bu siness report――increase the department store's profittheir competence in competing in the market. The training mainly focuses on how to serve customer in a pleasant way. Then most of potential customers will switch to our stores.Part FiveThe Fund Needed to Carry Out the MeasuresThe estimated costs for the measures are summarized below:Training staff 5, 0000£Rebuild department store 12,0000£Set up new storesExpanding foreign retail chains 8,0000£Part SixConclusions and RecommendationsAlthough problems exist, great business potential is waiting to be exploited. We have calculated that all the measures should bring an increase in profits by 23% in three months. Under a improved service concept and create a more comfortable shopping environment, Harrods can remain high in profitability and offset the threats. The Office has worked out three recommendations:Set up a committee (composed of store’s managers, customer representatives and government staff) to monitor the service. Carry out training for the store’s staff and managers.Advertise the feature changes of the store on the local news papers.商务英语写作business report――increase the department store's profitPart SevenSupplementary PartsAppendix__NNAIRE OF THE __’GOODS AND __SThis questionnaire is designed for Harrods department store’s problems and future improvement on its goods and services. Example Business Report: Butler GroupKey Findings•The era of the isolated Business Intelligence (BI) tool is drawing to a close. Certainly, most of the latest product releases from the industry's leading players have been targeted towards the delivery of enterprise BI services, andmuch of the recent consolidation activity can be attributed to a movement towards an 'all-in-one' strategy for BI.•All organisations need to become more efficient in the way that they exploit their data assets.•In the BI arena data has no intrinsic value unless it can be used to support business decisions.•It is Butler Group's opinion that business will only be able to improve its information services, and obtain real value from the ever-increasing data silos that it continues to generate, when it accepts that there are significantadvantages to be gained from integrating and standardising its approach to the management of BI services.•Visible cost savings that come from BI product consolidation will accrue from the simplification of systems management and systems support infrastructures. At the same time Butler Group believes that the real financialbenefits to the organisations will come from the better, more consistent, and more competitive use that thebusiness can make of integrated operational intelligence.•BI has reached a crossroads, and its value to business will only be improved when products are delivered that are capable of being used as genuine enterprise-wide, intelligence-lead, data access, management, and informationdelivery solutions.•Any organisation that cannot deal with data quality and consistency issues from within the confines of its BI platform does not have a credible product in place, nor does it have a plausible BI strategy.•Ultimately there needs to be a high priority set on BI to take first-line responsibility for all the data that it services.Accepting poor and unproven data into enterprise decision-making systems is in Butler Group's opinion theultimate recipe for disaster.•Within an organisation's enterprise BI strategy, Butler Group recommends that each existing BI deployment should be carefully reviewed, to ascertain whether it should be replaced, integrated into another platform solution, orremoved due to duplication or redundancy.IntroductionBoth public and private sector organisations have become highly proficient at capturing large volumes of data, with the capability to hold information about every customer that has ever transacted business with them, or every citizen that resides within their jurisdiction. Unfortunately, for many such organisations the good news ends there: although they have been working diligently at taking in information and building up terabytes of stored data across a variety of operational systemsand databases, the one vital thing that they have failed to improve upon is the ability to make more effective use of that data.Let us not mince words here: without exception, all organisations need to become more efficient in the way that they exploit their data assets. Furthermore, the data control and management issues that are being discussed here will not be resolved by simply attacking them with technology solutions that slice and dice the data into manageably segmented chunks before delivering it to sales and marketing functions as customer intelligence. The problems associated with the way that we utilise our corporate data are far more deep-seated than that, and the resolutions that need to be applied are far more fundamental than can be achieved by simply throwing in more intelligence-lead technology. For Butler Group the easy way out would be to accept that the latest BI technology releases provide all the answers, and that we can all sleep safely in our beds at night knowing that when customer or operational performance metrics change we willbe properly informed. After all, the BI solutions that we all use are in the main extremely mature, the results that can be achieved from deploying and using the technology are well understood, and the range of products and tools that are available are extensive. However, our view is that over the last two years BI usage has stagnated. The vendors have failed to address key user requirements, focusing instead on bringing new technology on stream, acquiring and integrating complementary products, and building end-to-end BI-based intelligence suites. But, whilst doing all of this, they have fundamentally failed to understand the way that business organisations are utilising their products, and it is this basic failure that is holding back organisations from working smarter with the data assets that they hold.It is Butler Group's contention that BI has reached a crossroads. Without doubt there are a number of genuinely strong BI solutions available today, but while they continue to be deployed at a limited tactical level, the value proposition that the technology is capable of delivering will remain constrained. Three years ago the BI industry was attempting to play on the business need for Integrated Business Intelligence (IBI). In our opinion that approach failed, and nothing much has changed.Today we have a situation where businesses are strongly inclined - perhaps we may even go as far as to say that they are desperate - to find a better, more efficient, and more cost-effective approach to utilising the competitive and commercialvalue of their data assets. The BI industry itself is eager to provide its services at a cross-organisation level through the deployment of strategic and enterprise-pervasive BI, but the business community seems somewhat reluctant to acquiesce. A stalemate appears to exist; on the one hand both business users and the industry itself need to improve the way that BI products and services are used, but if we are to move beyond departmentalised tactical deployments of BI, we must understand the critical steps that will be involved in optimising the technology for the benefit of the enterprise. Therefore, onbehalf of business users everywhere, there is a need to clearly spell out the incremental value proposition that the extended enterprise use of BI can provide.Business IssuesSince the millennium, business has spent too much of its IT budget on the purchase of ineffective data interrogation tools. On the other side of the equation the ability of such tools to deliver consistent, enterprise-level information has been restrictedby the tactical and localised nature of such deployments. It is fair to say that most organisations continue to sanction BI investments on a case-by-case basis, typically at a departmental level. The result is BI sprawl; many disparate systems digging away at independently gathered subsets of often common corporate data. Not only is this an unnecessary and inefficient waste of IT resources, but more importantly it creates problems in terms of establishing a common version of the truth. It is Butler Group's opinion that business will only be able to improve its information services, and obtain real value from the ever-increasing data silos that it continues to generate, when it accepts that there are significant advantages to be gained from integrating and standardising its approach to the management of BI services. In the BI market, standardisation is the process of consolidating an organisation's range of disconnected BI tools on to a single, or at least a reduced, BI platform foundation. Vast reserves of energy and indeed budget have already been spent by BI vendors on preparing their systems and architectures to deliver on such a vision. They believe that the time is right in terms of market need, and in their own ability to put forward a solid and financially proficient business case.Operationally, business will benefit from the enterprise capabilities of BI by consolidating their requirements down to the systems resources of a selected vendor. Functionally, organisations would benefit by easing the complexity that comes from supporting and administrating multiple BI systems; they would also benefit from having a common strategy for data access and managing a single set of data structures. Further advantages would also be gained from the reporting side where a common range of reporting structures could be used to deliver universally consistent information for all enterprise users.Key cost saving benefits will also accrue from the consolidation of an organisation's BI strategy. Essentially these will come from economies of scale - simplified management, simplified maintenance, and from reductions in support and end-user training costs. But this tells only part of the story, because Butler Group believes that the real financial benefits to the organisation will come from the better, more consistent, and more competitive use that the business can make of integrated operational intelligence - intelligence that can be delivered from a single source, and intelligence that at the same time can provide the capacity to support power users, line-of-business decision makers, and all types of information consumer.Technical IssuesThe delivery of enterprise-level BI capabilities, and consequential product consolidation that results in a single vendor taking responsibility for all of an organisation's intelligence-based information management requirements, shows up how inefficiently BI services are being delivered today. It also identifies the fact that business has only scratched the surface of what BI technology can achieve. Part of the problem, and a significant reason why BI continues to be used in such a fragmented way, comes from the fact that individual user departments continue to be reluctant to give up on the solution-driven technology products that they currently use to support the delivery of their BI services. At an enterprise level we believe that the key capabilities required to deliver end-to-end information management from a single platform infrastructure are data quality and Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) services; data storage and management; metadata management; performance management (forecasting, budgeting, and planning); query and analysis; KPI management and dashboard creation; and enterprise-level reporting. Also, the usage and availability of enterprise BI servers from many leading BI vendors is becoming more common; the role of the BI server is to provide the necessary centralised management, security, and customer-facing performance that is required of enterprise BI.In addition, the use of Web technologies to increase information availability, whilst simultaneously reducing the IT support load by encouraging self-service, is also becoming more commonplace. When built on a platform of accurate, consistent, and comprehensive data, Web-based BI facilities provide the opportunity to encourage users to take control of their own information needs. This, in our opinion, can have a dramatic impact on the efficiency and efficacy with which information is used within businesses. Finally, the availability of enterprise reporting facilities has to be seen as a cornerstone component of the extended enterprise BI model. It is the vehicle through which most information will be distributed. Again, in this important information delivery area, the Web comes into its own by providing the capabilities to address the needs of all information users, from power users to information consumers. At a more detailed level, comprehensive BI reporting services should include facilities to enable local power users and developers to create flexible report libraries for mass and targeted distribution. It should support self-service browsing - providing executive reports on a server via a Web interface with authorised users being able to filter, drill, change graphical options and data sources, and save content for future use and ongoing distribution.Market AnalysisTraditionally BI has been employed in specific application areas; its service delivery model has at times become too reliant on skilled data analysts, and has been focused principally on the scrutiny of historic information. Until recently, BI tools have mirrored these patterns of usage, and despite protestations from the vendor community that they have enterprise capabilities, have delivered little in the way of interoperability or integration with other types of application. The outcome has been that many business organisations have made project-based investments in individual BI tools and solutions, often from diverse vendors with consequent duplication of licence and maintenance costs, and with the resultantneed to maintain multiple skill sets. The problem is further exacerbated in larger and enterprise-level organisations, wheresimilar business issues, across different divisions, still exist, and are also being addressed by a disparate range of disconnected solutions. The BI market is now at a crossroads in its development lifecycle. In Butler Group';s opinion the nexttwo years will be crucial to its future wellbeing. This is because, in the past, BI has been perceived as a specialist function forpower users and the technology savvy, and as a result insufficient attention has been paid to the concept of BI as having a strategic business role to play.Fundamentally, we are of the opinion that the era of the isolated BI tool is drawing to an end. Certainly, most of the latest product releases from the industry's leading players have been targeted towards the delivery of enterprise BI services, and much of the recent consolidation activity can be attributed to a movement towards an 'all-in-one' strategy for BI. Perhaps business organisations are only just starting to seriously consider the information delivery challenges that lay ahead, but, as they look for new ways to rationalise their IT investments, the cost saving benefits that can be obtained from standardising on a single BI platform will become increasingly attractive. In this respect many technology experts are already questioning why organisations need different tools and environments to do special types of querying and reporting. Therefore, as business awareness grows of the benefits that can be achieved through the deployment of enterprise BI technology, customers will demand tools that can deliver cost-effective information services, whilst still scaling across the enterprise as a whole. As a result we would expect to see the balance of power shifting in the BI arena. The number of pure-play vendors will be drastically reduced, and will consolidate around leading, functionally strong players such as Actuate, Business Objects, Cognos, Hyperion, Information Builders, Microstrategy, SAS and SPSS; with the main challenges coming from enterprise software vendors such as IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, and SAP - companies that are providing BI capabilities as part of their application software platforms. These vendors will seek to offer low cost BI and analytics from within their application modules, which in the short- to medium-term at least, will make the enterprise BI market extremely competitive.SummaryThe era in which the isolated use of multiple BI tools can be relied upon to support the information needs of business is rapidly drawing to a close. The future value of BI to business organisations will come from the extended use of enterprise intelligence services that incorporate the use of products with the capacity and capability to be used as genuine, enterprise-wide, intelligence-lead, data access, management, and information delivery solutions.Resulting from this, Butler Group believes that business decision-makers should be challenging their technology suppliers to deliver intelligence-lead solutions that can deliver pervasive BI facilities that empower information users at all levels within the organisation to work smarter and in a manner that makes the organisation more efficient, more agile, and ultimately more operationally competitive.。

As we only focused on some high-quality products, we can’t expand market share in other aspects, then the profits fell sharply. The solutions to the problem are clear. As a result, several similar famous store groups are now heavily in debt. The report studies the cause of the fell and recommends solutions to the problems.Causes of the fellWe have found three causes relating to the fell:•Market Positioning is inflexible.•The Foreign market didn’t develop well.•Service concept was out of date. Some positions and service concepts are out of date, it’s lower customer satisfaction. We also found that a large number of staff numbers and managers lack awareness to follow with customer’s consumption concept. Harrods department store may start training their staff to keep up with modern customer’s idea.Measures to Increase the Profits•Set up some convenience stores, discount stores and speciality stores as competition did.•Expand foreign retail chains in some economically potent states like China and Japan.•Training staff. Make transition of service mode to follow the consumer demands.Estimates for Implementing the ProposalMost of the expenses of implementing the measures will be on set up new stores and expand foreign retail chains. Our company, TWCB, as requested the solution by Harrods department store’s manager, we immediately looked into the matter and found three problems which may have caused the decreasing. The fiscal third quarter of this fiscal year will end in two months. We will do everything to solve the problems before customers switch and never to return. In this report, I will describe the problems we found in the department store and propose three possible measures to solve them and the estimated cost.1.Purpose, Scope, and Challenges·Purpose: the purpose of this report is to analyze what caused the problem and how can we solve it as soon as possible. The report gives the result of the investigation.·Scope: we immediately formed two teams, one of which checked the department store regularly and the other conducted a survey on customer. The first team hangs around the store for 7 days in a row and constantly does some shopping to see how the service feels like. The second team designed questionnaires collecting customer’s comments on the store. The result was not as bad as we had expected. But the store should do something before it becomes a real problem.·Challenges: the department store has been facing tremendous challenges and pressure as the number of competitions grows at high speed each year. For instance, some customers select one store visit regularly out of ten. Our store is facing increasing competitive pressure.2.MethodsWe conducted the investigation through two methods: interviews and questionnaires. We sent out 1000 questionnaires and 800 customers responded to them. 300 customers chosen randomly from customer questionnaire’s numbers were interviewed.Part TwoThe Decreasing Profits in Harrods Department StoreIn last six months, there’s sharply profits fell showed on the financial reporting form Harrods department store. We did research on the decreasing problem.1.25% Decreasing compared with 2011After the research, we found that under the strategy of Harrods, to offer a wide choice of products and personalized service, the department store has worked well until st year, however, profits fell sharply and results for the first six months of this year have been disappointing. Then we did a comparing with this store’s profits from January to June in 2011 and 2013, there is the chart:petition’s Average Profits in 2011&2013After compared with our own store’s profits in 2011, one of our team did research on our competition’s average profits in 2011&2013. Here is the table (on next page):0.511.522.533.5From the table, we can see that, when Harrods department store ’s profits decreasing sharply in this two year, the competition has grown a lot; it gives us a great competitive pressure at now and future. We need to do something to change the bad situation.3. Major Causes of the DecreasingFrom the research, we can see the major problems which caused the decreasing, and we summarized them as follows:• As we only focused on some high-quality products, we can ’t expandmarket share in other aspects, our market positioning is inflexible.• As economic globalization becomes strong, our foreign marketshould develop more deep and widely.• Our strategy is good, but it didn ’t pay attention to nowadaysshopping fashion. Service concept was out of date.We must take concrete measures to solve all the problems.Impact on Harrods Department storeThe decreasing of the profits not only made damage to the economic interests of Harrods department store, it wills also jeopardizing the Harrods’ brand reputation and then when we need more funds to increase the profits will be very hard.1.More Funds Needed to Increasing ProfitsIndeed to increasing the department store’s profits, we should do a lot of research and work. To make a perfect solution, all the projects will spend a lot of money to get the most accurate answer. During the whole things, we will cooperate with many famous companies on investigation or doing business expanding. To make sure everything is moving on schedule and is within the budget, we will make an accurate expense, and expect to complete the project without exceeding the budget.2.Jeopardizing the Harrods’ Brand ReputationWith the result of our questionnaire, we can see that: among the 800 customers, 650 are employees and rests of them are teenagers and senior citizens. In the employees group,25% of them with an annual income of 100, 0000£or more, and others annual income is about 30, 000 to 80,000£. The high income group didn’t show any unsatisfactory to the service and product. But in the middle income group, many of them want value for money and to feel they have got a bargain and services which make life easier or save time, which they think Harrods can’t serve well. Methods for Increasing the ProfitsThe working team has worked out methods to increase the profits of the department store. We will depend on marketing positioning, foreign market, and training new service concept as our main approaches to our customers.Three Ways to Increasing the Profits•To attract customers we will rebuild our department store to make a place for some discount goods. And in other city area, like communities and shopping mall, we will set up some convenience stores, discount stores and speciality stores as competition did. But as the long history and special brand charm we has, our stores will be very different from others. We will develop a new message to our potential customers, that “Luxury culture also can be an Approachable culture.” The message together with pictures showing features of our new stores will be advertised in the local papers, magazines, and our new catalogs.•Although HARODDS is a successful department store in London and has many chain stores in New York and Italian, we can’t ignore the mega consumer market in some Asian countries, like China and Japan. These countries own a large consumer population, which makes them consumer markets with great potentials. So we should try to connect with those local business men to expand our foreign retail chains and develop foreign markets.•With a survey shows that: as the English population ages, older groups will provide opportunities for sales growth. And nowadays the English consumers want value for money and to feel they have got a bargain. Britain is moving from a luxury culture to a convenience culture. People want services which make life easier or save time. So the old service concept was out of date, we should do a series of trainings to improve staff’s awareness of the shopping fashion andtheir competence in competing in the market. The training mainly focuses on how to serve customer in a pleasant way. Then most of potential customers will switch to our stores.Part FiveThe Fund Needed to Carry Out the MeasuresThe estimated costs for the measures are summarized below:Training staff 5, 0000£Rebuild department store& 12,0000£Set up new storesExpanding foreign retail chains 8,0000£Part Six Conclusions and RecommendationsAlthough problems exist, great business potential is waiting to be exploited. We have calculated that all the measures should bring an increase in profits by 23% in three months. Under a improved service concept and create a more comfortable shopping environment, Harrods can remain high in profitability and offset the threats. The Office has worked out three recommendations:·Set up a committee (composed of store’s managers, customer representatives and government staff) to monitor the service. ·Carry out training for the store’s staff and managers.·Advertise the feature changes of the store on the local news papers.Part Seven Supplementary PartsAppendixQUESTIONNAIRE OF THE HARRODS’GOODS AND SERVICES This questionnaire is designed for Harrods department store’s problems and future improvement on its goods and services.
