教材分析
本节课的教学内容是人教版新目标初中英语第八册(下册)第九单元的第四课时,即Section B 1a-1d.本单元核心教学内容是以去过的有趣的地方为题材,学习如何谈论过去的经历, 谈论曾经去过的地方。其语法项目主要是学习现在完成时的用法。该时态是初中英语教学大纲中要求学生掌握的一个主要时态之一。而在这之前，学生已经学习了一般过去时态。这个时态与现在完成时既有联系又有区别。因此，学生是否能够准确运用这个时态表达自己的思想，既可对前面学过的一般过去时做一个检测，又可对学生后面学习完本单元内容及往后进一步学习过去完成时做一个良好的铺垫。
学情分析
学生已经在第8单元学过现在完成时态，已经掌握了现在完成时态的基本用法，所以本节课的内容学生易于接受。在本节课里我主要引导学生以小组为单位进行合作学习，共同完成任务。此外，引导学生通过观察、比较、分析，自己主动发现、探究，找出一般过去时与现在完成时之间的区别与联系，从而突破难点。这样的学法指导，符合新课程所倡导的培养学生合作学习、探究的学习方式。

一．指导思想与理论依据
《初中英语课程标准》对四级听力层级要求学生能够听懂简单故事的情节发展，理解其中主要人物和事件，而本课要求学生能够使用一般过去时讲述故事。《课标》要求英语教学英语有工具性和人文性。而本课的载体《皇帝的新装》，在讲故事的同时，学生对西方童话故事的文化内容有所了解，体现了英语学习的人文性。
二．教材内容分析
《皇帝的新装》对于学生来说，故事情节较为熟悉，而通过图片及关键词的提示引导学生复述故事，目的在于培养学生的思维和语言的重组能力，鼓励学生用所学的语言结构进行表达。
三．教学设计
（一） 教学目标
1. 学生能够用 once up on time, kept, stupid, cheats复述《皇帝的新装》的故事。
2. 通过举例人物语言或行为，如 kept everything for themselves, didn’t want to sound stupid等，分析故事的人物性格。
3. 为故事续写结尾
（二） 教学重、难点及突破措施
本节课《皇帝的新装》教学重点是了解西方童话故事的表现形式，尝试用概括的形式进行语言输出。教学难点是词汇的恰当使用，和故事逻辑的表达，以及最后引发学生用英语进行表达的故事结尾的续写。通过学生小组活动，填空并把片段组成整个故事的活动，使学生更加了解故事细节，并对故事的起承转合有一定认识。再通过人物分析这一活动，使用之前故事中的语句，突破学生语言表达的难题，为最后的复述故事扫清语言障碍。

【教材分析】
本节课是一节听说课，是八年级下册Unit6SectionB的第一课时，主要围绕西方童话故事《皇帝的新装》，拓展了关于故事叙述的词汇和句式，通过听、说、读、写训练活动，学生能够更好地运用动词短语以及连词讲述故事。本课的童话故事学生较熟悉、也感兴趣,有话可说。而在SectionA中学生已学习了如何运用过去式讲述英语故事, 在此基础上本课时教学中要由词汇变化到句子,再由句子扩展到语篇,以听促说,学生要学会用英语讲这个故事，并能够尝试编写剧本，上台表演剧本。
【学情分析】
八年级学生经过一年多系统的英语学习,具备了一定的听说基础,正逐步向读、写过渡,通过近半学期的小组合作学习的教学改革，学生有了自主学习、初步自主合作,分析归纳以及课堂展示的能力。学生们也正处于知识积累,前后知识衔接,培养良好的学习习惯的关键时期。大部分学生对英语有一定兴趣,但由于知识的安排由浅入深,有少数学生对这门学科产生了厌恶心理,消除学生厌学情绪,激发学习兴趣至关重要。而本单元正是一个引发学生兴趣的契机,利用学生耳熟能详的故事, 把学生带入精彩的童话世界。基于以上学情,我制定了以下学法:
1. 抓住用英语交际的机会,深刻感知、积极体验、大胆实践。
2. 积极参与,善于合作,培养团队合作意识。

一、 说教材
(一)教材的地位的作用
本单元讨论的主题是“传说和故事”，其功能项目是讲故事(tell a story)。语言目标是要求学生用连词unless, as soon as, 以及so…that结构的用法。
分为Section A , Section B, Self Check三个部分。本单元内容与实际生活息息相关，是学生感兴趣的话题。本单元是围绕story来展开话题的一个单元，分为五个课时。本节课为本单元第三课时，主要以西方欧洲的通话故事皇帝的新装为主题，让学生能听懂故事，并能用英语为他人讲述故事。
