本课时是小学三年级下册PEP Unit 3 At the zoo第二课时。主要内容是let’s learn和let’s do两部分。四个单词fat、thin、tall、short和一个句子“ look at that…” “ It’s …”句型来进行交流，并能在创设情境中灵活运用。
本单元的内容都是围绕着形容动物外形的形容词，以及相关的型进行交流，为孩子们设计的交流让学生可以结合生活实际进行问答，用看、听、说、玩、练的形式使学生在愉快活泼和自信的情绪中保持积极的学习态度，养成良好的英语学习习惯。
