一、教学内容分析
本节课是一节听说课，听力的前两个文本分别从环境、交通和居住条件三个方面，谈论了星光镇过去和现在的变化。第三个听力文本是Millie讲述了和她好朋友Becky相处的一些变化。通过本课时的学习，学生能够了解如何多角度描述城市的变化，从而结合自身情况，谈论自己周边的变化。
二、学情分析
通过本单元前面课时的学习，学生已经具备通过听力活动获取城市变化信息的能力，并能简单介绍身边的一些变化，但是还比较缺乏应对变化的能力。
三、教学目标
通过本课时的学习，学生能够：
1. 获取有关星光镇变化的具体信息。
2. 描述星光镇从过去到现在发生的变化。
3. 谈论自己和朋友的过去与现在。
4. 培养积极应对生活中出现的不同变化的能力。
