随着计算机技术的发展,数值天气预报诞生,预报准确率也得到大幅提升。

大气运动包含了极大的不确定性,其初始场的偏差难以避免,如果初始偏差在处理过程中保持稳定,对大气系统的预测也可能得到相对稳定或确定的结果,遗憾的是在大气这一非线性复杂系统演变过程中做不到这一点,偏差会被迅速放大,导致,初始有效信息最终会全部消失,预测结果将出现重大错误。
