Step1: Review and lead-in

Step3: Pre-writing
1. lead in the the writing of an Email: ask the students to think about if you want to send a letter to a friend as soon
as possible, what is the best way?
2. show the style and format of email to the Ss and teach them
how to write an email: the similar as writing a letter
3. Ask the Ss to finish 3a and then read together
4. Ask the Ss to use the knowledge in self check finish the
blanks in 3b and talk about it the the partner 1.look at the
screen and answer the questions

Purpose 给学生足够的信息输入，引导学生掌握写Email的格式，为写作做好充分的准备。
Step4: while- writing 1. Tell the Ss the main task is to write
an email about Friday schedule to the friends
2. Emphasis the key writings aspects they should know and guide
them to pay attention to the format of the email(Ask the Ss to
refer to the example in 3a)
3. Repeat the writing parts. Guide the Ss the first part is the
greetings; for the body part, guide the Ss to describe their
Friday schedule according to 3b;as for making a conclusion,
tell the students to write a suggestion or something as writing
a letter.(Teacher writes some topic formwork on the Bb )
4. Ask Ss to start writing
5. Go around the classroom and help the Ss if their needed while
they are writing

Step5: post-writing
(Evaluation) 1. Ask the Ss to exchange their papers to their
partners(they can form a group with four or five person) 2. Chose one paper from each group optionally, and then read
to the Ss and ask them to make some comments
3. Ask Ss to discuss in group and choose one excellent paper ,
then praise them.
4. Show some good sample writings on the screen to the students,

课后反思：本节课的主要目的是引导学生通过对之前所学内容的复习，学会模仿和综合整理知识，能够运用所学的知识进行写作实践。一开始通过不断的复习和巩固，为学生进行写作做好充分的准备。然后通过介绍Email 的写作方法，引导学生进行写作。最后在形成作品后，教师给出评价标准，学生互评环节有利于培养学生的合作精神。通过这样的任务型教学，学生可以在巩固已学知识的基础上，掌握一定的写作技巧。但是，由于时间安排不当，前面花的时间有点多，导致后面的操练部分时间有点紧。所以在以后的教学过程，要注意把握时间。

本单元围绕“谈论自己所喜欢的学科”这一话题，展开形式多样的听、说、读、写学习活动。主要学习一周中星期一到星期天的表达方式；掌握学科的表达；学习用because和表示品质的形容词表示理由；学习what，why，who引导的特殊疑问句。通过本单元的学习使学生学会谈论自己喜好的学科或自己喜好的其它事情并给出理由；学会说出一周的七天；学会合理地安排自己的作息时间。
3.学情分析
本单元的主题是“谈论自己所喜欢的学科”，主要是学习学科的表达、表示品质的形容词、一周中星期一到星期天的表达方式；学习用because表示理由。在询问“对方所喜欢的学科和人物”、“星期几”时，要使用以前所学过的What、Who疑问句，再学习“询问理由”所用的Why疑问句。教师可引导学生通过比较、对照的方法掌握所学疑问句的结构和使用以及回答。

Section A (1a-2c) 教学设计与点评
本课围绕“谈论自己所喜欢的学科”这一话题，展开形式多样的听、说、读、写学习活动。通过本节课学生学会谈论自己喜好的学科并给出理由。
【学情分析】
本课主题是谈论“自己所喜欢的学科”，主要是学习学科的表达、表示情感的形容词。生词方面：有些单词如favorite, music, art, math, P.E., Chinese, science在小学学过，而所用形容词在第5单元学过，因此只需要对学生的已有知识进行唤醒和复习巩固，subject是新单词，而又是本节课甚至是本单元的关键词，因此需要重点分析讲解，geography, history都是新单词，需要新授。句型方面：第6单元学习了like的用法，为本节课的favorite奠定了话题基础，由于中英文的差异，学生容易混淆favorite的词性，用I favorite的错误表达；why和because的句型也是已学句型，重在引导学生在语境中的运用。七年级学生还处在语言初学期，应在自然拼读、语音语调方面进行正确引导。
