Step 1 自我介绍
老师介绍自己，并要求学生自我介绍。
Step 2 导入课题
老师提问“我们要做些什么？”，并让学生回答。“我们要做一个调查研究。”
为了引起学生的兴趣，老师可以在黑板上写上一些问题：“你最喜欢的电视剧是什么？”，“你最喜欢的运动是什么？”，“你最喜欢的食物是什么？”等等。
Step 3 学习单词和短语
老师依次讲解并板书调查研究所需用到的单词和短语：research,
information, report, book, magazine, internet, ask, interview,
questionnaire, survey，并要求学生跟读并用英语造句。
Step 4 调查研究计划
老师要求学生分组，每组选择一个调查的主题，例如：最喜欢的电视剧、最喜欢的运动或者想要学习的科目等等。然后要求学生在组内讨论，设计出调查问题和调查方式，并做好调查计划。 Step 5 实施调查
学生按照调查计划，实施调查。调查方式可以有多种，例如：采访、问卷调查、网络搜索等等。
Step 6 统计调查结果
学生在调查完成后，将结果整理汇总。老师可以帮助学生统计结果，并要求学生制作图表，便于表现结果。
