Competition
Hi everyone! I want to tell you about my super fun
experience at the 2024 Student English Competition. It was like,
so awesome!
First, let me tell you about the competition. It was held in a
big hall with lots of students from different schools. There were
three rounds – a spelling bee, a short story writing contest, and a
speaking challenge. I was nervous at first, but then I was like, "I

潍坊中新双语学校
关于开展英语作文比赛的通知
为深化学校双语厚基特色，丰富校园文化生活，检验学生英语学习水平，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，提高学生的英语写作水平和综合运用语言的能力，学校研究决定在三至六年级开展英语命题作文比赛。现将具体事宜通知如下：
一、参赛对象：
三至六年级全体学生
二、比赛时间与地点：
时间：2013年12月19日下午3:40
地点：五楼报告厅
三、比赛内容
根据学生的认知水平和课程标准要求，选取贴近学生生活实际的内容进行命题作文。
四、组织方式：
1.初赛：各班由英语老师负责命题并认真组织初赛，每班推选出2名选手参加年级决赛。
2.决赛：学校统一命题，统一组织比赛。参赛学生在30分钟完成一篇英语短文写作。
五、奖项设置：
1.分年级分设一等奖、二等奖若干名，比例为6:4。
2.获得一等奖的学生作品将在学校校报上陆续刊登，并编入学校作文集。
六、评分要求：满分（100分）
第1档（90—100）能写明全部要点；语言基本无误；行文连贯，表达清楚；三至六年级作文字数分别在50、60、70、80字以上。
第2档（80—89）能写明大部分或绝大部分要点；语言有少量错误；行文基本连贯，表达基本清楚；三至六年级作文字数分别在40、50、60、70字以上。
第3档（79分以下）能写明大部分要点；语言有一些错误；行文较连贯；三至六年级作文字数分别在40、50、60、70字左右。
