1、积极心理学的概念和内容1.1 积极心理学的概念积极心理学是相对于消极心理学,以研究人类发展潜能和美德为基础,充分挖掘人类在成长和生活中所固有的、潜在的、实际存在的建设性力量,以此来促进自身成长或者帮助他人成长的一种心理学研究[1]。
深入学习并分析积极心理学的概念,在合理应用积极心理学理论指导的基础上,能够将积极心理学的作用充分发挥出来。
在初中英语教学活动开展中,强化积极心理学的应用,能够对教学活动的开展起到良好的促进作用,提升师生群体的积极性,为提升初中英语教学质量奠定良好的基础。
1.2 积极心理学的内容积极心理学研究的内容主要包括三个基本层面:积极的情绪体验、积极的人格特质、积极的组织系统。
积极的情绪体验,不仅包括快乐、希望、乐观等具有正向价值的情绪倾向,还包括在此基础上所具有的个体思维开阔和行动指引功能,能够促进个体形成良好的循环。

教师通过一次次收集资料,一遍遍处理教材、确定教法,专业水平和教学设计能力就必然会得到提高。

因此,如何提高学生的阅读理解能力,是广大英语教师积极探索的一个课题。
笔者结合自己的教学实践,谈谈对这一问题的看法。
一、注重初中起始学段阅读教学,奠定阅读基础纵观新版初中英语教材,阅读性材料在预备教材的第一单元即已出现,可以说遍布整个教材的始终。
教师要在学生进入初中的起始阶段,就注重培养学生良好的阅读习惯和技巧,夯实阅读基础,从而为学生的阅读理解能力的培养奠定良好的基础。
1.关注学生的阅读速度。
阅读速度是衡量阅读能力的重要标志。
在初始接触阅读课文的时候,学生往往不知道有阅读速度这一要求。
为此,教师在指导阅读时,首先要让学生进行限时快速阅读,给他们传授略读和跳读技巧。
略读就是通过整体粗读,领略内容大意,帮助理解,为细读做准备,寻找主题句,获取大意。
要有意识地培养学生找出主题句,抓住中心,使学生理解主题句与事实细节的关系。
跳读就是寻找所需信息,如年代、数字、人名、地名等把握关键词、利用语法过渡词、语气转折词及时态等抓住文章脉络。
2.运用多样化的阅读教学方式。
英语阅读课的教学方法多种多样,只有教师根据教学需要,灵活选用,让学生在英语课堂中常听常新,经常有耳目一新之感,他们才会乐于参与,高效投入,如提问式教学。
阅读文章时,对所学文章要点,教师提出要求,学生阅读,寻找答案,引导学生时注意抓住全文的主旨,提出问题,启发学生回答,在听学生回答问题的过程中弄清学生的薄弱环节。
再如讨论式教学。
阅读前,根据课文的主要内容和篇章结构,从不同的角度提出预测性问题,引导学生对课文内容进行预测和讨论,激活学生大脑中相关的知识网络,使他们处于主动认知状态,从而产生阅读的愿望和心理准备。
不在阅读前单独教生词,而在讨论和语境中呈现生词,并借此检测或巩固学生单词的理解,等等。
