[摘要]译林版《英语》教材中的CheckoutTime板块是单元中最具综合性和灵活性的板块，板块的功能对该板块的教学提 出了更高的 。课堂教学中，教师应设置主线、开设趣味性活动、铺设有效话题和创设真实情境这四个方面，探讨CheckoutTime板块教学的几个要点，提高教学效率。

译林版《英语》（下同）教材分为Story time, Fun
time,Grammar time, Cartoon time, Sound t ime, Check
out time和Ticking time等板块，各板 的板
块功能。其中，Checkout time板块的综合性 ，亦可
合板块。教师可通过Checkout time板块形

教材分析：
本课围绕周末活动展开话题，设计的周末活动有上网聊天，拜访祖父母，与小动物一起玩耍，放风筝，去电影院，去公园野餐等，学生对这些活动都很感兴趣，而能够表达自己和他人的周末活动是本课的重点和难点。
学情分析：
本节课的话题“周末活动”，比较贴近学生的生活实际，学生也乐于谈论，文本内容对于学生来说也不难理解，因此，学生学起来兴致会比较高。此外，学生在前面学习基础上，对于一般现在时第三人称单数的动词表达已经有了一定的了解，学习起来应该不是很难。
教学目标：
1.知识目标
① 使学生能够理解Story time的意思，流利的朗读课文并能够介绍书中人物周末活动。
② 使学生能听懂、会读、理解单词usually, often, always, sometimes以及词组visit my grandparents, chat on the Internet的意思。
