Passage 1From James Moriarty to Ernst Stavro Blofeld, the idea of the evil genius has been a staple of storytelling. But is it true? Or, to put the matter less starkly, is there a connection between creativity and dishonesty in real people who are not bent on world domination, as well as in fictional supervillains? Writing in Psychological Science, Francesca Gino of Harvard University and ScottWiltermuth of the University of Southem California suggest that there is--and that cheating actually increases creativity.Dr Gino and Dr Wiltermuth tested the honesty of 153 volunteers with a task that involved adding up numbers for a cash reward, which was presented in a way that seemed to them to allow them to cheat undetected(though the researchers knew when they did). This was sandwiched between two tests for creativity, one of which was to work out how to fix a candle to a cardboard wall with a box of drawing pins, and the other a word-association test. This combination showed not only that creative people cheat more, but also that cheating seems to encourage creativity--for those who cheated in the adding-up test were even better at word association than their candle-test results predicted. That result was confirmed by a second set of experiments, in which some people were given many opportunities to cheat and others few.The crucial predictor of creativity, the researchers con-firmed, was the actual amount of cheating, not any propensity to cheat.A third experiment tested the idea that this is because both creativity and dishonesty require, as it were, a flexible attitude to rules. In this experiment volunteers were asked about their attitude to bossy signs, such as "no cycling" and "no diving" notices, after being allowed to cheat (again, in a way transparent to the experimenters) on a coin-tossing test.Cheats, it turned out, were less con-strained to obey such signs. It is, it goes without saying, a long way from such acts of petty defiance to building a lair inside an extinct volcano and threatening Washington from it--or even to non-fictional acts of serious crime. But some sort of link exists, so this research does indeed suggest that Arthur Conan Doyle and Ian Fleming were on to something.21.What can be concluded from the passage about James Moriarty and Emst Stavro Blofeld?A.They are two evil geniuses.B.They are two psychologists.C.They are two story-tellers.D.They are two researchers.22.Which of the following is closest in meaning to the underlined phrase "were on to some-thing" in the last paragraph?A.were inspired by something.B.were going to do something.C.were worried about something.D.were aware of the nature.23.Which of the following describes the sequence of Dr Gino and Dr Wiltermuth' s research?A.candle test, adding-up test, word association test.B.candle test, word association test, adding-up test.C.adding-up test, candle test, word association test.D.adding-up test, word association test, candle test.24.What does the underlined words "the other" in Paragraph 2 refer to?A.The trick.B.The test.C.The reward.D.The combination.25.What conclusion can be drawn from this passage?A.The more a person cheats, the more creative he is.B.Cheating is likely to encourage creativity to some extent.C.A person who cheats is more creative than a person who doesn' t.D.A person who is creative cheats more than a person who is less creative.请阅读Passage 2,完成第26-30小题。

One of my father’s friends, Bernie, was a rich businessman, who owned a large store in St. Paul.Every summer, when the first watermelons arrived, Bernie would call. Dad and I would go to Bernie’s place. We’d sit on the edge of the dock(码头), feet dangling(摇晃), and got ready for a big meal.Bernie would take his knife, cut our first watermelon, hand us both a big piece and sit down next to us. Then we’d bury our faces in watermelon, eating only the heart—the reddest, juiciest, firmest, sweetest, most seed-free part—and throw away the rest. Bernie was my father’s idea of a rich man. I always thought it was because he was sucha successful businessman. Years later, I realized that it was not Bernie’s wealth itself but his way of dealing with it that my father liked. Bernie knew how to stop working, get together with friends and eat only the heart of the watermelon. What I learned from Bernie is that being rich is a state of mind. Some of us, no matter how much money we have, will never be free enough to eat only the heart of the watermelon. If you don’t take the time to dangle your feet over the dock and enjoy life’s small pleasure, your work is probably hurting your life. For many years, I forgot that lesson I’d learned as a kid on the loading dock. I was too busy making all the money I could.Well, I’ve relearned it. I hope I have time left to enjoy the success of others and to take pleasure in the day. That’s the heart of the watermelon. I have learned again to throw the rest away.46. We learned from the second paragraph that the writer and his father were feeling ______.A. relaxedB. worriedC. hungryD. proud47. How did the writer and his father eat the watermelon?A. They ate it in a polite way.B. They only ate its best part.C. They ate every part of it.D. They shared only one piece.48. In the eyes of the writer’s father, Bernie ______.A. was just a rich businessmanB. worked hard all the timeC. lived a rich but healthy lifeD. knew how to make money49. The underlined part “the heart of the watermelon” in the last paragraph refers to ______.A. the best part of the watermelonB. the writer’s busy lifeC. the writer’s decision of making moneyD. the writer’s hope of enjoying life50. It can be learned from the passage that ______.A. one has to work hard to reach his goalB. a friend in need is a friend in deedC. watermelon is the healthiest fruitD. one should keep work-life balanceBWhen the Audet family turns on the lights at Blue Farm, they are using electricity that comes from cows—cow manure (粪肥), to be specific.Cows produce a lot of wastes. One cow can create 30 gallons of wastes each day. Now imagine the output of over 1,000 cows at Blue Farm. That’s really a big amount. When farmers clean their barns, they put the wastes in a big heap, and spread some of them on their fields for fertilizer(肥料). But now places like Blue Spruce Farm have a new way of using cow wastes. They use them to produce electricity. Here’s how it works: A big machine moves back and forth cleaning the barn floor. “The cow s aren’t bothered,” says Marie Audet. “They are animals of habit; they get used to it, and just lift one foot and then another to let it go by.”The machine pushes the manure into a big 600-gallon tank like a small swimming pool. The tank is called a digester (化粪池) because what happens there is just like what happens inside a cow: Bacteria(细菌) get to work and continue to digest the manure.Methane gas (甲烷、沼气)in the atmosphere is known as a “greenhouse”gas because it keeps heat just like a greenhouse does, causing our planet to warm up. That’s an environmental concern. But the digester has a good result. Its gas is kept and used to power electric generators (发电机).At Blue Farm, the generators make enough electricity to power 400 homes. The Audet family sells the extra electricity they can’t use themselves.51. We learn from the text that the Audet family is using cow wastes to ______.A. make electricityB. produce fertilizerC. build their farmD. feed the cows52. How are the cow wastes collected into the digester at Blue Farm?A. Marie Audet does the workB. The job is done by machineC. The cows lift the cow wastesD. Bacteria get to work on them53. According to the passage, which of the following is changed into electricity?A. The power of moving water.B. The heat of burning coal.C. The power of sunlight.D. The heat of the methane gas54. The new way of using cow wastes at Blue Farm might be best descr ibed as ______.A. reducingB. savingC. recyclingD. changing55. What is the main purpose for writing the passage?A. T o introduce a new way of making electricityB. T o explain how a new energy works betterC. To show a new rebuilding plan for a big farmD. Or, toput the matterless starkly, is t here aconnectionbetween creativityand dishonesty in realpeoplewho are not bent onworld domination, as well asinfictional supervillains?Writing in Psychological Science, Francesca Ginoof HarvardUniversityandScott Wiltermuth of the Universityof Southern Californiasuggest that there is—and that cheating actually increases creativity.Dr Gino and DrWiltermuthtested the honesty of 153 volunteers with a task that involved adding up numbers for acashreward, which was presented ina way that seemedto them to allow them to cheat undetected (thoughthe researchers knew when they did). This wassandwiched between two tests forcreativity, one of which was to work out how to fix a candleto a cardboard wall with a box ofdrawing pins*, andthe other aword-association test.Thi scombination showed not onlythat creativepeople cheat more, butalsothatcheating seems to encouragecreativity—for those who cheatedin theadding-up test were evenbetterat word associationthan their candle-testresult spredicted. That resultwas confirmed by a second set of experiments, in which some people were given many opportunitiesto cheat andothers few. The crucial predictor ofcreativity, the researchers confirmed, wasthe actual amount ofcheating, not any propensity to cheat.A third experimenttested the idea that this isbecause both creativityanddishonestyrequire, asit were, a flexible attitude to rules. In this experimen tvolunteers were askedabouttheirattitude to bossysigns, suchas “nocycling”and“no diving” notices, after being allowed tocheat(again, in a waytransparent totheexperimenters) on a coin-tossing test.C heats, it turnedout, were lessconstrained to obey such signs. It is,it goeswithoutsaying, a longway from such actsof petty defiance to building a lairinside an extinct volcano and threatening Washington from it—or even to non-fictionalacts of serious crime. But some sort of linkexists, so thisresearchdoes indeed suggest that ArthurConan Doyle andIan Fleming wereon to something.21.What can be concluded from the passage about Janves Moriaty andErnst StavroBlofield?A They are twoevil geniuses. areas of the Internet,it's possible that you had not heard of trigger warnings until a few weeks ago, when they made an appearance in the Times. The newspaper exp lained that the term refers to preemptive alters, issued by a professo r or an class might be sufficiently graphic to spark symptoms of po st-traumatic-stress disorder. The term seems to have originated in online feminist forums, where tri gger warnings have for some years been used to flag discussion of r ape or other sexual violence. The Times piece, which was skeptically tit led“warnings are moving from the online fringes to the classroom, and mi ght be more broadly applied to highlight in advance the distress or offense that a work of literature might cause. “ Huckleberry Finn ”would come with a warning for those who have experienced racism; The Merchant of Venice would have an anti-Semitism warning attached. The ca ll from students for trigger warnings was spreading on campuses such as Oberlin, where a proposal was drafted that would advise professors to“be aware of racism, classism, sexism, and other issues of privilege and oppression”in devising their syllabi;and Rutgers, where a student argued in the c ampus newspaper that trigger warnings would contribute to preserving t he classroom as a“ safe space ” for students.Online discussion of trigger warnings has sometimes been guardedly sym pathetic, sometimes critical.Jessica Valenti has noted on The Nation 's website that potential triggers for trauma are so manifold as tobe beyond the possibility of cataloguing:“There is no triggers for warning for living your life.”Some have suggested that a professor's ability to teach would be compromised should it become commonplace for“ The Great Gatsby ”to hear a trigger warning alerting readers to the disgusting characte rs and incidents within its pages.Others have worried that trigger-warning advocates,in seeking to protect the vulnerable, run the risk of d isempowering them instead,“Bending the world to accommodate our personal frailties does not he lp us overcome them” ,Jenny Jarvie wrote on The New Republic's online site.Jarvie's piece, like many others on the subject, cited the University of Calif ornia,Santa Barbara,as a campus where champions of trigger warnings ha ve made significant progress.Earlier this year, students at U.C.S.B.agree d upon a resolution recommending that such warnings be issued in ins tances where classroom materials might touch upon“rape, sexual assault,abuse,self-injurious behavior, suicide, and graphic vio lence ” .The resolution was brought by a literature student who said t hat,as a past victim of sexual violence, she had been shocked when a teacher showed a movie in class which depicted rape, without giving advance notice of the content. The student hoped to spare others the possibility of experiencing a post-traumatic-stress reaction. The trigger-warning debate may,by comparison, seem hard to understand;but express a large cultural preoccupation with achieving safety, and a f ear of living in its absence. The hope that safety might be found, asin a therapist's office,in a classroom where literature is being taught is in direc t contradiction to one purpose of literature, which is to give express ion through art to difficult and difficult and uncomfortable ideas, and thereby to enlarge safe space, nor, probably, should it be.But it's difficult to fault those who hope that it might be,when the outsi de world constantly proves itself pervasively hostile,as well as,on oc casion, horrifically violent.21.Which of the following groups of people are most in favor of “trigger warning ” ?A.StudentsB.ReportersC.FeministsD.Professors22.Which of the following might be a possible change to be brought about by trigger warning to literature teaching?A.Teachers will abandon materials related to racism,sexism,violence,etc.B.Teachers will ignore students' s requests for a“ safe space ”in designing their syllabi.C.Teachers will give students advance notice of the content that is likely to distress or offend them.D.Teachers will allow students to express different and uncomfortable ideas to enlarge their experience.23.What does the author mean by“ compromised ” in PARAGRAPH3?A.QuestionedB.ImprovedC.ChallengedD.Weakened24.What does“ them” in PARAGRAPH3refer to?A.RisksB.FrailtiesC.TraumasD.Possibilities25.Which of the following can be the negative impact that trigger wa rning exerts on literature teaching according to the writer?A.It may highlight the 2015年下半年高中教师资格考试《英语学科知识与教学能力》真题及参考答案
2015年下半年高中教师资格考试《英语学科知识与教学能力》真题及参考答案1.考试时间120分钟,满分150分。

一、单项选择题(本大题共30小题,每小题2分,共60分)1. In English, the aspirated [p h] and the unaspirated [p] are ____ .A. minimal pairsB. in phonemic contrastC. two distinctive phonemesD. in complementary distribution1.【答案】D。
2. /s/ and/θ/can be distinguished by_____.A. manner of articulationB. place of articulationC. vibration of the vocal cordsD. aspiration of articulation2.[答案】B.解析:考查语言学知识。
