本课话题为Parties, 是听说课型,话题贴近学生生活,容易引起学生学习兴趣和参与意识。

经过上一节课的学习,学生了解了不同的节日风俗,本课继续“celebration〞的话题,学生将学习parties的不同类型,相关词汇以及如何给他人提出建议。

本课方案按两课时进行:第一课时通过图片呈现不同主题的parties,导入本课主题,学生在教师指导下从听力材料中提取信息,学习如何给予他人建议的功能用语,进行听力策略的训练;第二课时通过对给予他人建议功能用语的口头操练,设置情景,强化功能用语,并引导学生关注如何向他人表示祝贺。

The quote is by Jules Feiffer who is a cartoonist (winner of the Pulitzer Prize) and also an author, children’s book wr iter, screenwriter and playwright.Routes through the material■ If you are short of time, set some of the exercises for homework or omit Exercise 8.■ If you have time, students can make dialogues for the people in the party scenes in Exercise 1. Language Power: pages 80?C81.ListeningBefore you startExercise 1■ Ask two or three students when they last went to a party ?C What sort of party was it? How many people were there? What did they wear? What time did it start/finish? What did people do? Did they enjoy it? 本节课是一节英语听说课,学生学习比较困难,为了顺利达到教学目的,我运用了任务型教学,在课前布置学生收集中国与英国在聚会方面的异同及一些注意事项,并且要求组为单位准备好与聚会相关的一些歌曲等。

从上课过程得知,这一工作学生的汇报环节起到很好
的作用,学生的汇报内容丰富,语言得体。

达到了预期的目标。

由于运用多媒体以及插播一些与话题相关的学生熟悉的歌曲,学生可以在快乐的氛围下轻松学习。

所以在以后的教学中,我尽可能地多设计虚拟真实的环境给学生运用功能语言,从而达到用英语交际的教学目的
