②指“汉语〞时,为不可数名词。

Tony lives in China now and he can speak Chinese well.汤姆现在生活在中国,他的汉语说的非常好。

〔2〕作为形容词,意为“中国的,中国人的〞The young man is a Chinese student.那个年轻人是一个中国学生。

(3)China为专有名词,意为“中国〞。

注意,其首字母c要大写。

小写了c字母的china,为“瓷器〞的意思。

The woman is from China and she’s Chinese.那位女士来自于中国,她是中国人。

〔4〕拓展:局部常见国家专有名词、某国人及其复数形式、语言名词一览表2.be/come from的用法意为“来自于〞。

They are/come from England.他们来自于英国。

3.Nice to meet you的用法意为“见到你〔们〕很快乐〞。

是见面时表示欢迎的常用语,其中形容词nice可以用glad,pleased来进行替换。

翻译:见到你们很快乐。

Nice to meet you.=Glad to meet you.=Pleased to meet you.4.What/How about...?的用法意为“……怎么样?〞常用来询问他人的情况、提出建议等。

其中,about是介词,其后接名词、动名词、代词宾格等。

What about taking a walk after dinner?〔用于提出建议〕晚饭后散步怎么样?I’m in Class 1,Grade 7.What about you?我在七年级一班,你呢?〔用来询问他人的情况〕5.welcome的用法意为“欢迎〔迎接某人到某地时的用语〕;受欢迎的〞,常用于以下表达中:〔1〕welcome to sp. 意为“欢迎来某地〞,当welcome后跟表示地点的副词,home,here,there等时,其后的介词to要省略。
