Introduction of Insurance
为了保障货物一旦发生损失后能取得经济上的补偿，被保险人 （The insured, 即买房或卖方）对一拼或若干批货物向保险人（ The insurer, 即保险公司 insurance company/ underwriter） 按一定金融投保一定险别（coverage），并交纳保险费（ premium）; 保险人承保后，如果所投保的货物在运输过程中发 生约定范围内的损失，应按照它所立的保险单（insurance policy）之规定给被保险人经济补偿。 由买方还是卖方投保，通常由贸易合同明确规定，并往往包含 在货物价格中。对于FOB和CFR的交易，装运完毕后，卖方应及 时向买方发出装运通知，以便买方能及时对货物做出保险。对于 CIF的交易，习惯上由卖方按发票金额的110%投保一切险（或综 合险，All Risks）。100%是CIF发票总值，10%是合理的利润和 其他费用。有时买方要求投保的金额超过110%，额外的保费由 买方承担。
