三、教学步骤
Step 1 Warming up
1.师生问候。
2.学唱歌曲：Old MacDonald Has a Farm.
Step 2 Revision
1.复习有关动物的单词。
（1）教师出示动物图片，让学生快速用英语表达出来。
（2）教师再出示有关动物的单词卡片，请学生认读并拼写单词。
（3）游戏——What’s missing?
游戏规则：教师出示三到五张有关动物的单词卡片，全班齐读一次，然后抽出一至两张单词卡片藏在背后，让学生猜什么单词不见了。
教师可以将单词卡片奖励给猜对的学生，直到所有的卡片都分给学生为止。
2.复习数词。
（1）请学生从one数到sixteen。
（2）教师出示13~16的英语数字单词卡片，请学生读，同时提醒学生注意单词词尾的-teen的意义及其读音/ti:n/。
（3）游戏——报数。
游戏规则：第一轮，教师随机说一个英文数字，学生快速说出它的下一个数，如：教师说“thirteen”，学生就说“fourteen”；第二轮，教师再随机说一个英文数字，学生快速说出它的上一个数，如：教师说“thirteen”，学生就说“twelve”。
3.复习句型I have....。
教师出示不同数量的动物图片，学生快速起立说I have....。
每组轮流说，说得又快又好的小组得分。
4.通过复习，教师告诉学生，本节课将继续学习有关数字和动物的话题。

Step 3 Presentation
（一）单词和句型教学
1.教学单词clever和句型How much is...and...?
（1）教师拿出玩具小鸟说：“Look！I have a bird. It is very clever. Listen，what can it do?”感知单词clever后，教师播放课文视频，引导学生带着问题，初步感知课文，认识一只聪明的会做算数的小鸟。
（2）教师说：“I like the bird. Do you like it?”教师在黑板上写出算式3+10=，边写边说：“How much is three and ten?”写完之后，再说一遍句子，让学生明白How much is...and...? 是在询问两数相加，同时明白and在这个句子中的意思是“加”。
教师请一位学生回答黑板上的算式，引导他/她用句子“It’s thirteen.”来回答，并竖起大拇指予以表扬“Very clever！”。
之后拿出单词卡片教学单词clever，带读、操练并板书。
（3）教师拿出词组卡片how many和how much，让学生认读和区别，再带读并操练how much 及句型How much is...and...?之后板书句子。
2.教学单词seventeen，eighteen，nineteen和twenty。
（1）教师继续在黑板上写出几个算式，操练句子How much is... and ...? It’s....
（2）由最后一个算式10+7=引出单词seventeen的教学。
教师在黑板上写出单词seventeen，让学生根据读音规则尝试拼读，用“V ery clever!”表扬读对的学生。
（3）教师出示单词卡片eighteen和nineteen，引导学生先自主认读，然后操练和拼读，最后教师板书，板书时让学生关注这两个词的变化规律。
（4）请学生从one数到nineteen，教师接上twenty，引出单词twenty的教学。
（5）请学生看黑板上的四个单词：seventeen，eighteen，nineteen和twenty，引导学生发现拼写的不同之处。
（6）知识拓展：学习数字21~29的英文表达法。
（7）文化渗透：先请学生说说自己的幸运数字，再简单讲解数字在中西文化中所代表的不同含义。
（二）课文教学
1.翻开课本第18页，教师播放录音，学生边听边看课文图画。
2.全班观看课文教学光盘，理解内容，教师可配合上动作表演。
3.再播放录音二到三遍，学生模仿跟读。
跟读时，教师引导学生用赞扬的语气来读“Very clever！”。
4.巩固练习
（1）完成课本第19页的Ask and answer.部分，请学生分小组进行口头练习，以此培养学生的合作学习能力。
（2）完成课本第21页的Listen and write.部分。
（3）游戏——蚂蚁搬苹果。
游戏规则：课件出示几个大苹果，苹果里写有不同的算式，请一位学生当小老师说问句，并指名另一个学生来回答，回答对了，苹果下面就会出现一只小蚂蚁，把相对应的苹果搬走，直至全部苹果被搬完为止。
（4）学唱童谣：Twenty.
（三）语音教学
1.教师出示单词卡片sheep，green，queen和three，复习字母组合ee在单词中的发音。
2.教师再出示单词卡片read，ice cream和teacher，学生听录音，跟读这些单词，初步感知这些单词中相同的音素，发现它们的读音和上节课学过的字母组合ee的读音是一样的，也读作/i:/。
3.教师再列举几个单词，让学生利用读音规则尝试拼读，如：sea，peach，meat等。
4.教师再次播放录音，学生模仿跟读。
Step 4 Extension
综合活动：找一找生活中的数字。
数字在我们的生活中无处不见，你们能说一说它们都有什么作用吗？如：seat number（座号）、phone number（电话号码）等。
请学生说出自己身边的数字，如：自家的门牌号、电话号码、车牌号码等。
Step 5 Homework
1.听录音，熟读并背诵课文。
2.抄写新单词各3遍。
3.完成《活动手册》上本课的练习。
4.完成课本第22页的自我评价。

P: It is important to form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss by singing. And at the same time it provides situations to review learnt knowledge for the next step.Step 2. PresentationNow I will mainly talk about this step.1. First I will show students a picture of farm, and ask students what they can see on the farm. Then lead to the new words: cow, sheep, horse one by one. Practice these words and phrases with “High and Low V oice”.P: To present the key phrases one by one is much easier for the Ss to learn and grasp the meanings.2. CAI shows pics of sheep, cows and horses, let students to count the number. Then lead to the new words: thirteen, fourteen, fifteen and sixteen.P: With the help of CAI, the Ss can get a better understanding of the text.3. Play tape recorder once and lead to the sentence pattern “ I have….”. Then the T plays the tape recorder twice or three times, let students listen and imitate the dialogue. Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.P: Accurate pronunciation is very important in English learning. Teacher should train the Ss‟ ability of imitation consciously.Step 3. PracticePlay a game. (What is different!)PPT shows a couple of pictures, let students to find out the differences of these pictures. The group which finds out first will win a point.P: This game can arouse students‟ interest in learning English. Meanwhile, it also help to consolidate the new words and phrases.Step 4. ConsolidationDivide the Ss into 4 groups. Each one would do a survey to finds out the numbers of their belongings (such as school things, farm animals). And then find out which group finishes faster.P: Task-based Teaching Method is used here to develop the Ss‟ability of communication and also their ability of co-operation will be well trained.Step 5.
