• He isn’t as tall as I
• I can’t run as (so) fast as he.
• Liu Ying is not as good at sports as her sister
Say something about you and your friend, using comparative
这类词有: any(表示疑问), no或not any(表示否定),
slightly, a bit, a little(表示一点), much, far, a lot等(表示“…得多”), even, still(表示更加)。如: • She’s a little more outgoing than me.
• I am a little taller than her.
•Is your mother any more relaxed? •You've got far more (much more) opportunities than I have. •After taking the medicine, he did not get any better.
A) "the…, the…"
如: • The older I get, the happier I am. • The more dangerous it is, the more I like it. • The earlier, the better.
• The more, the better. • The sooner, the better. • The more trees you plant, the better environment you’ll
have. • The more you eat, the fatter you will be. • The harder you study, the more progress you will make.
• Jack is less tall than Jim. • You should eat less meat.
• as +形容词或副词 • not as … as
原形+as
(not so …as)
(A和B一样)
(A不如B。。。)
• He is as tall as I. • I run as fast as he.
than playing football. I play basketball better than Mike and Mike plays football better than I. What’s Mike like? He is more outgoing than I. We are both frienபைடு நூலகம்ly and easygoing.
My best friend is Mike. We are both thirteen, but he is two months older than me. He is a little taller than me. I like English better than math, but Mike thinks that math is more interesting than English. Mike likes playing football, but I don’t. I think playing basketball is more exciting
• She felt herself becoming more and more nervous.
• The weather is getting colder and colder. • I began to feel healthier and healthier.
• The more novels you read, the more you want to read.
• The harder you study, the more you can learn.
• The easier the text is, the happier they will be.
