第一单元是通过触摸物体来描述物体的性状,第二单元是通过嗅觉和味觉来感受不同食物的特点。

而本单元那么是通过观察,并结合自然现象来描述事物的变化。

在本单元的学习过程中,要求同学们可以用rise, go down, shadow, high, sky, noon.等词汇来描述一天中太阳的变化。

二、学情分析本课与自然知识相联系,涉及到学生们所学的自然科学知识,又与我们日常生活紧密相关,这对于学生来说充满了极大的兴趣,他们喜欢观察、思考、表达,这非常有利于她们在对话中进行发挥,能够对知识加深理解。

三、教学目标:1. 能正确地听、说、读、写词汇rise, go down, shadow, high, sky, noon.2.能正确使用句型The sun …in the…来描述一天中太阳的方位。

3. 能用一般现在时正确描述太阳和影子在一天中的变化。

四、教学重点:单词:rise, go down, shadow, high, sky, noon 。

“The Journey of Little Water Drop”教学设计一、教学内容分析“The Journey of Little Water Drop”,讲述的是一个自然界水循环的过程,如何通过儿童化的语言,把水循环这一复杂的科学现象用故事的形式生动地呈现在孩子们面前,使孩子们容易接受和理解。

二、教学对象分析五年级的学生已经具备了一定的英语基础,在以前的学习中也已经接触到了一些与自然界相关的一些单词,但在此之前学生还没有学过用英语表达某一种自然现象,关于水的循环过程学生在其他的学科中也有所了解,而且在本单元的主情景图中已经简单了解过,因此理解的难度不是太大,但对话中涉及到较多词组的运用,是学生在表达时的一个难点,要创设具体语言情境引导学生感知理解,并通过趣味性的操练帮学生达到熟练表达。

三、教学目标(一)语言知识:1.学生能掌握单词:shine, over, ground, up2.通过阅读故事《小水滴的旅行》,帮助学生认识水循环这一自然现象形成的过程,让学生感受到了水的神奇魅力。

(二)过程与方法目标本节课通过为学生提供平台自主学习和合作学习来培养学生的自主学习能力和合作能力。

(三)情感态度与价值观通过学习,提醒学生关心世界性问题——地球水资源的缺乏,认识水的重要性,培养学生热爱大自然的美好情感,增强孩子们的环境保护意识,注意保护水源、节约用水。

四学习策略:在信息技术环境的高效支撑下,通过自主探究的学习方法,以任务驱动的方式在较真实的情境中,自主、积极愉快地参与到语言学习中,通过完成任务,实现学习目标,培养学习能力,主动学习的意识。

五、教学重点和难点能简单叙述小水滴的“旅行经历”并通过阅读进一步熟悉理解水循环过程。
