一、重视课堂听讲。

2013级新生入学指南:英语学习篇
一、宣传步骤的一些想法
1. 入学当天
在入学指南手册中加入一页,或在主干道宣传栏(或其他醒目位置)张贴海报,力求形式新颖,抓人眼球。
主要目的是引起学生关注、思考或讨论英语学习的兴趣,从而关注获得相关信息的渠道。
个人建议以学生常见的问题为主(要是上个学期放假前找几个班做个简单的问卷调查就好了,问问12级的学生,他们刚入学时希望获得什么样的信息或是有什么样的问题):
1)上大学后学英语就是考四、六级吗?
2)上英语课能见到老外吗?
3)老师还会像高中那样天天给我们做题、讲语法吗?
4)上了大学,还要不要学英语?如果学,学什么?怎么学?学到什么程度合适?目标在哪里?
5)有比赛或演讲的机会吗?
6)英语课难吗?我英语不好会挂科吗?
7)英语课不及格或是考不过四级会拿不到毕业证吗?
……
(问题不论大小,只要是学生关心的事情估计效果就会好。
目前先想到这么多。
)设计成放射状文字?(想在网上找个类似的效果,没找到……反正差不多就是下面的样子?要不再请信管系学生帮忙设计下?)

另外,各系会有高年级帮忙新生入学的学生志愿者(不知道他们各系会不会给他们发工作证一类的东西),可以帮他们印一些英文或双语的小贴纸(就像上次文化节那种),比如“Volunteer”,“Welcome to Foreign Trade College”,“Welcome to 各系”之类的(或是其他英文的有意思的口号,无奈偶想象力现在很limited……而且这个是不是也要跟各系沟通?成本?经费?)。
(感觉别的大学都在新生报到那几天,校园里就有社团宣传或是纳新,咱们是不是得等团委统一安排?)
2. 军训期间(或是入学教育期间)
在原有海报或宣传栏处贴出相应的大学英语先导课/ 学习方法讲座海报,写明到时候会有资料发放,并有针对性的讲解。
讲座前等学生入场时可以加入第二课堂的介绍(视频或图片),或者有些成果(歌曲、小短剧之类的)展示,吸引学生去看。
(先导课和学习方法讲座的内容感觉之前的已经很充实了,不用再赘述。
精读教师可在此时与所教班级建立联系。

(个人意见:先导课除了让学生了解公外部及英语学习外,是否可让同学们思考下英语学习方面的个人规划,顺带也引发同学思考整个大学生活和未来的规划。
)
3. 开课前(如果开学先上课再军训,此段忽略)
如果精读或听力老师有时间(比如哪天来学校开会),去新生所在教室转转看了解下学生,随时解疑答惑。
(个人感觉这个教师有时间就做,没有机会碰上学生也不用刻意再跑来,给老师们增加负担。
)
4. 第一节课
第一节课除了常规的自我介绍,可请学生谈下三年的英语学习规划。
从先导课/学习方法讲座到上课时的一段时间,学生可能已经有些想法。
二、宣传内容
(此段咱们部门之前材料很多,偶只把自己觉得重要的地方写写提纲。
建议每段内容引入前可再次询问学生感兴趣的问题,可考虑中英文来问。
)
1. 4个学期主要的学习内容/ 目标
引入问题:你觉得3年毕业后,你会/想达到什么水平?
你觉得上英语课会做些什么?/你想在英语课上做些什么?
(配上相应的幻灯片/吸引人的图片)
2. 需要的学习资料及工具

引入问题:我想看英文电影、准备四六级、看新闻、找八卦……可以去哪里?

如果你英语学习中遇到各种问题,会去找谁?可列举几个情况:
比如四、六级和应用能力报名、耳机坏了、想买英语资料等等……
5. 第二课堂
(图片和资料很充足,多放几张让学生看花眼O(∩_∩)O~)
6. 你的舞台:重点展示获奖的学生,还有各种活动(跟第二课堂重复的可

7. 个人建议:希望在先导课上也能强调下听力和口语,不一定非要拿出个

在写这份东西之前上网搜了很多关于新生英语学习指南的材料,有些话觉得挺好的,但是不知道应该放在哪里合适,就罗列在下面,供参考选用(附件文件夹中也有一些):
1. 上了大学,还要不要学英语?如果学,学什么?怎么学?学到什么程度合适?目标在哪里?是我们都患上了选择困难症,还是英语这门学科太过高深?都不是!对于一艘没有航行目标的船,任何方向的风都是逆风。
与其盲目地“抓紧时间”采取行动,不如静下心来仔细考虑,先给自己一个清晰、明确的答案。
规划高考后的大一英语学习,无外乎以下四步骤:1. 自我评估,优劣势分析;
2. 制定短期和长期目标;
3. 制定行动计划及内容;
4. 选择采取的方式和途径。
用目标来指导,用计划来规范,才是面对若干选择时最为理智的方式。
规划先行,方能达到“我的英语我做主”之境界。
