PART 02
完形填空的语篇长度一般都控制在250-300词，设空15个。同时，为了不影响学生对于篇章整体和主题的理解，首句一般不设空。语篇的长度与设空的多少有直接关系。平均词距达15-20词，最小词距控制在6-8词。——《英语命题技言知识与语用知识结合起来，兼而考查语言知识和语言技能：它要求学生的理解水平要从句子上升到语篇，而且要求学生掌握相当量的词汇和牢固的语法知识，具有较强的阅读能力(彭建武，2009)、一定的语篇分析能力和运用所学词汇和语法知识以及结合上下文语境分析问题和解决问题的能力。
完形填空的考试重点是上下文的联系(coherence)和句子及短语结构的内在凝聚(cohesion)。因此，完形填空的命题策略必定是围绕了衔接(cohesion)与连贯(coherence)理论(陈玉莲，2010)。
