3.1 水壶kettle一种可置于炉子、炉具或者炉架上的中空器皿，可以烧开水或者不用于烧开水，可以带有或者不带有汽笛，可以带有或者不带有盖，带有壶嘴和手柄。
3.2 汽笛 hooter当水煮沸受蒸汽驱动能发声让人听见的装置。
3.3 固定系统 fixing system将手柄固定到壶身或者将捏手安装到盖、汽笛上的方法措施。
3.4 容量 capacity在确保产品正常使用情况下，水壶所能盛装的最大水量。
3.5 手柄 handle固定于水壶体，在日常使用中用以携拿的装置。
3.6 捏手 knob与水壶的盖或者汽笛集成在一起或者安装在一起的一个短短的突出部分，其目的是在正常使用过程中方便定位或者卸除盖、汽笛。
3.7 柄具furniture手柄及捏手的统称。
33.8 底座直径base diameter水壶底座直径通过测量水壶底座外径获得，即当放置在平整表面上时的最大接触周长，或者安装在底座区域时的最大圆。
4 产品分类4.1 品种产品按功能分为：普通式(A)、自鸣式(B)。

产品按用途分为：加热型（H）、非加热型(C)。
4.2 规格规格以水壶容量表示，单位为升(L)，数值取至小数点后一位数。
4.3 产品标记K □□□□—□设计序号(制造厂商自定)产品规格（数值取至小数点后一位数）产品功能(普通式代号A, 自鸣式代号B)底部结构 (单层底代号D,复合底代号F)用途（加热型代号H，非加热型代号C）不锈钢水壶示例1：KHFB3.5－LF012表示3.5升的不锈钢加热复合底水壶，有鸣叫功能，设计序号为LF012。

5 要求5.1 材料水壶壶体采用不锈钢板材或不锈钢复合板材制造。
水壶所用材料应能使成品满足于本标准规定的所有性能要求。
所选材料在可预见的使用条件下,不应释放出任何可能对健康有害的物质，并且在任何情况下用它做成的食物都不能影响口感。
5.2 外观及结构5.2.1所有零部件不得有任何毛刺、开裂或者锐边，产品焊接处不得有脱焊或脱焊痕迹。
5.2.2底座应该以密封的形式与壶体连接在一起。
5.2.3壶嘴应防漏并以密封的形式与壶体连接在一起。
5.2.4水壶设计应利于排气，当提水或倒水时外溢的蒸汽不会伤及使用者的手。
5.2.5当水壶从倒水的水平方向倾斜到90°时，盖应该保持在正确位置并且不碰手。
5.3 卫生要求水壶与食品接触部分的卫生要求应符合GB9684、GB19778、GB4806.1的理化指标规定。
5.4 倒水按6.4试验时，水应该从壶嘴顺畅地流出。
单个水滴可以流回侧壁，但是应该没有连续的泄流。
5.5 底部受热稳定性当从壶底观看时，底座不应该是凸起的，并且按照6.5试验时，壶底往外不应呈凸面。
5.6 耐疲劳性4经6.6耐疲劳性试验，手柄或者其固定系统没有明显的扭曲或者松动。
5.7 柄具耐热性水壶经6.7试验，柄具应不会出现裂纹及起泡，纯粹装饰性的部件，如热塑性镶嵌件或包边，则不在此限。
5.8 柄具绝热性在正常情况下柄具应该能够被安全抓牢，而不会让手或者手指接触到温度超过以下相关材料规定值的水壶壶体或者手柄托架的任何金属部分：a）未涂层金属：55℃；b）塑料：70℃；c）木材：89℃；d）陶瓷、玻璃、石头：66℃。
不符合本要求的水壶应该携带警告标志，并在说明书中说明为了确保安全使用以采用适当的保护。
5.9 容量产品实际容量应该不小于标注容量，容量测量按6.9要求。
5.10 汽笛汽笛在水开以及鸣笛的时候保持在适当位置，按6.10试验，水壶汽笛鸣叫声音不应低于55dB(A)。

6 试验方法6.1 材料检验材料采用试验方法检测化学成分。

6.3 卫生要求试验水壶的卫生要求按GB/T5009.11、GB/T5009.60、GB/T5009.63、GB/T5009.64、GB/T5009.81、GB19778等要求试验。
6.4 倒水试验按附录A试验，将待测水壶以6°/s的倾斜速度倒水，其结果应该符合5.4的规定。
6.5 底部受热稳定性试验按附录B试验，水壶底座不应该往外凸起，其结果应该满足5.5的要求。
6.6 耐疲劳性试验按附录C试验，手柄总成应该能够承受15000个循环，其结果应符合5.6要求。
6.7 柄具耐热试验安装于水壶壶体的柄具，经按附录D要求在150℃±5℃下测试1小时，其结果应该满足5.7的要求。
6.8 柄具绝热性试验按附录E试验，其结果应该满足5.8要求。
6.9 容量测量a）把空的水壶放在衡器上称质量为G1；b）将水壶平放，向水壶内注满水，称水壶带水的质量G2；c）水壶容量V=（G2－G1）/ρ式中：G1——空的水壶质量，单位为千克（kg）；G2——水壶带水质量，单位为千克（kg）；V——容量，单位为升（L）；ρ——水的密度，取1 kg/L。
6.10 汽笛鸣叫试验往水壶加水至最高水位，并加热至水开后听其声响，在房间内于距离其1m远，高度1.5m处的正前方用声级计测试汽笛鸣叫声音，其结果应符合5.10要求。
56.11 手柄阻燃性试验根据附录F进行试验时，手柄的阻燃性应满足5.11要求。
7 检验规则产品需经检验合格后方可出厂，并附有质量检验合格证、使用说明书、产品保修单、装箱清单等。
检验分出厂检验和型式检验。
7.1 出厂检验7.1.1 产品需经制造厂商的质检部门检验合格并签发合格证后方能出厂。
7.1.2 出厂检验按GB/T 2828.1的规定，采用正常检验二次抽样方案，其检验项目、检验水平、不合格分类和接收质量限应符合表1规定。
7.1.3 检验判为合格时，供货方应将检出的不合格品换成合格品后方能交收。
若判批为不合格时，该批产品应全数退回供货方，经整理后按加严检验二次抽样方案再次提交检验。
7.2 型式检验水壶在下列情况时应进行型式检验：a)新产品或老产品转厂生产的试制定型鉴定；b)正式生产后如结构、材料、工艺有较大改变，可能影响产品性能时；c)正常生产时，每一年进行一次型式检验；d)产品长期停产后恢复生产时；e)出厂检验结果与上次型式检验有较大差异时；f)国家质量监督机构提出进行型式检验要求时。
