Unit 4 Earthquakes- A Night the Earth Didn’t Sleep

Unit 4 Earthquakes- A Night the Earth Didn’t Sleep教学设计一教学内容本节课为人教版《英语》必修①第四单元Earthquakes 的第一节课Warming Up和Reading—A Night the Earth Didn’t Sleep。
1)Words and phrases:shake, well(n.), rise, smelly, pond, pipe, burst, canal, steam, dirt, ruin, injure, destroy, brick, dam, useless, steel, shock, quake, rescue, electricity, disaster, army, organize, bury, coal, mine, shelter, freshat an end, dig out, a (great) number, give out, thousands of.2) Ability①learn some detailed information about an earthquake.②Improve the students’ reading ability.③Train the students’ ability of talking about past events.2 过程与方法1)通过观察图片,收看录像及阅读课文等充分了解地震的有关知识,培养学生的观察能力及理解能力。
