因此,本节课以学生Fun2中对礼物商店的位置描述和四年级下册第七课的句型和词汇为知识底数,进一步扩展词汇,进行更流畅丰富的交流。
【教学目标】通过学习让学生熟练掌握位置关系和地点名称的英文单词,它们是:next to,between,in front of,post office, gift shop, park, photo shop, cafeteria, rest room, library, laundry, book store, hospital, theater, supermarket等。
并能灵活运用所学英语进行问路和指路,并能对具体的位置关系进行进一步描述It’s in front of/be tween…。

目前英语在新加坡的普及率相当高,有超过一半的中小学生来自父母会讲英语的家庭,孩子从幼儿园开始就接受以英语为教学语言的各科目教学。
纵观新加坡英语教学的改革与发展,大致分为三个时期:第一时期(1950-1970年)以语法翻译法为主,第二时期(1971-1985年)以听说法为主,第三时期(1985年至今)以交际教学法为主。
[1]新加坡英语教学大纲定位和目标都比较高,教学大纲和教材设计方面趋向于综合性和主题性。
经过十多年的改革与发展,教学成效也比较明显,学生的整体水平都比较高。
My Pals are Here教材是由Marshall Cavendish出版公司出版,分香港版、国际版、新加坡版等,本文主要介绍这套教材的新加坡版。
本教材包括课本(Textbook)、练习册(Workbook)、教师指南(Teacher’s Guide)、CD光盘(Audio CD)、语法练习(Grammar Practice)、测试手册(English Tests)、家庭作业(Homework)几部分,从小学一年级到六年级共六套。
一年级到三年级为小学低年级,强调在学习中阅读,学会用英语沟通(Learning to Communicate in English);四年级到六年级为小学高年级,强调在阅读中学习,学会用英语学习(Learning to Learn in English)。

146教研园地JIAO YAN YUAN DI中国和新加坡小学数学教材难度比较研究朱妍 金晶黄冈师范学院数学与统计学院 (湖北省黄冈市 438000)摘 要:考虑为我国小学数学教材改革提供参考,本文运用数学教材难度模型,从三个维度对中国和新加坡小学数学教材难度进行比较分析,结果表明:新加坡小学数学教材难度略低于中国教材,但从各个维度来说,两国教材难度各有特点。
关键词:数学教材 课程难度模型 比较 内容广度 内容深度 习题难度国内对于美、英、澳等发达国家数学教材方面的难度比较研究已经取得了很多成果[1-5],新加坡的数学教育以其鲜明的特色而受到国际数学教育界的高度赞扬[6],但对于新加坡的教材难度比较却不多。
而一年级学生的认知水平正处于起始阶段,所以对于一年级教材的编写尤为重要[7]。
因此,本文运用数学教材难度模型[5,8],通过对新加坡与我国的小学数学教材进行难度比较,为我国的数学课程改革提供借鉴,为老师的教学提供帮助。
1 研究对象、方法和工具1.1 比较对象将我国人民教育出版社出版(简称“人教版”)和第三版新加坡Marshall Cavendish 版《My Pals are here! Maths》(简称“MCE”)的小学一年级的数学教材作为参考对象进行比较。
人教版是国内使用量大的优秀教材,MCE 教材也是新加坡最受欢迎的教材。
研究以小学一年级数学教材作为比较对象,因为一年级学生还不具备了一定的知识经验基础,其认知水平正处于前运算阶段。
所以,在这一阶段教科书的编写可以充分反映两国的教育理念和教育挑战,以期望通过研究和分析了解两国的小学数学教育的特点。

通过对新加坡小学数学书Learning Maths的剖析,进一步挖掘新加坡数学教育的内涵,探讨其中可资借鉴之处。

新加坡数学在TIMSS和PISA两大测试中脱颖而出,得到了国际数学教育界的重视与关注,这也映射出新加坡数学教育的独到之处,即加强了数学建模思维在数学教育中的渗透。
