本模块继续学习现在进行时的结构,并运用这一结构谈论人们在公园中的活动,描述正在发生的行为或动作。
这一模块分为两个单元。
第一单元主要是运用现在进行时问答正在发生的事情或动作。
本单元的主要讲述了大明带着埃米坐公园巴士,一路上埃米看见了许多有趣的场景,但是由于埃米是英国人,对具有中国特色的事物(太极拳、龙舟、豆浆)并不了解。
因此当他们坐车经过公园时,看到有人在打太极拳,有人在划龙舟,有人在下国际象棋。
回过头,他们看见车上有人在喝豆浆。
埃米好奇地问这些人在做什么,大明一一为她解答。
当车经过一个钟楼时,他们发现已经12点了,感觉有些饿了,于是他们决定下车去吃午餐。
第二单元学习现在进行时的情景与第一单元类似,只是第一单元是从文化方面导入的话轮,行为的发动者是人,第二单元是从知识方面导入的话轮,行为的发动者是动物。
本单元的主课文情景是大明和埃米在马戏团看表演,对于动物们的表演,埃米感到十分新奇,所以她再次询问大明,大明根据自己的理解也一一给出了回答。
本模块将继续学习现在进行时,重点是让学生能用现在进行时进行问答,注意主语人称和be动词的变化。
通过第二模块的学习,学生已经初步接触和学习了现在进行时态,并学会了运用“What are you doing？”和“What is/are sb.doing？”来询问对方或他人正在做什么。
本模块的重点除了学习新的动词短语外,还要学会运用句子“What are they doing？”来询问第三方人或物正在做的事或正在做的动作。
小学四年级的学生经过了一年的英语学习之后已经有了良好的英语听说读写的意识,同时具备了一定的听说能力,只要教师在教学中给予学生充分的展示机会和绝对的信任和鼓励,那么每个学生的听说能力都会得到发挥。
