一、教材分析：
本单元围绕“At the farm”这一题材展开，学习农场里的蔬菜和动物，以及单、复数的使用习惯。
本课时是本单元的第一课时词汇教学课。
重点学习的单词是carrot,tomato,potato 和green bean, 还有它们的复数形式变化ca rr o t→ca rr o ts,to ma t o→to ma t oe s,p o t a to→p o t a to e s和g r ee n bean→green beans,并能简单地描述蔬菜的特征，如：Look at the green beans. They’re so long.学生能够理解名词的单复数变化，并能正确地运用。
尤其要注意to m a to→to m a to e s,p o t a to→p o ta t oe s这两个单词的复数形式比较特别，本课时不打算深入探讨名词的单复数变化规律，只要求学生记住就行了。
因此，在授课的过程中，运用以旧带新的方法自然引出新课内容，让学生新旧结合、不断积累，将所学的语言用于生活。
二、学情分析：
学生从三年级开始学习PEP 英语，已经具备了一定的口语表达能力。
学生在观察能力、思维能力、语言表达能力方面都有了较好的提高，有着强烈的好奇
心与动手操作的能力。
他们喜欢在自己的探索中获取知识，喜欢在玩中学，喜欢在做中学，喜欢在想中学，喜欢在用中学。
三、教学目标
1.知识目标
（1））能够听、说、认读单词tomatoes ，potatoes ，carrots，green beans。
（2）能理解句子Look at the green beans. They’re so long. Yes, and the potatoes are big.
（3）会说唱歌谣。
2.能力目标
培养学生的口头表达能力和表演能力。
3.情感目标
教育学生要有合理的饮食习惯。
四、教学重难点
教学重点：掌握三会单词tomatoes ，potatoes ，carrots ，green beans。
教学难点：掌握单词potato 和tomato 的复数形式。
五、教学过程
Step 1: Warm-up
1.打招呼，分组
2.欣赏歌曲《Old macdonald had a farm》，教师带领学生边唱边舞蹈，活跃课堂气氛，引出这节课学习的主题是关于农场的。
Step 2：Presentation
1.介绍主情景线索：Mike、Sarah 和John 想要只做自己的开心农场，但是他们需要闯关来获得农场所需的各种蔬菜、动物和水果，让我们一起来帮助他们吧在闯关的过程中，表现好的小组可以获得奖励品，比如动物、蔬菜或者水果类的卡片。
2.第一关：I can guess
通过猜谜语的形式，依次呈现单词carrots、tomatoes、potatoes 和green beans，找同学积极说出自己的答案，调动学生的积极性。
（1）通过猜谜语引出carrots，教读单词后，呈现图片，引导学生说出Look at the carrots. They are orange/tall/short 等，并且穿插情感教育，胡萝卜含有丰富的维生素A，要多吃胡萝卜。
（2）呈现遮挡了一大部分西红柿图片的ppt，让学生猜出tomatoes，教读单词，引导学生说出Look at the tomatoes. They are red/yellow。
（3）同样以猜谜语的形式呈现单词potatoes，引导说出句型Look at the potatoes. They are big。
穿插情感教育French Fries，薯条是有土豆制作的，虽然美味但属于油炸食品，应该少吃。
（4 ）呈现单词green beans ，引导学生说出句型Look at the green beans. They are long。
所有单词呈现完毕，第一关闯关成功。
Step 3：Practice
第二关：I can say
(1) 播放ALet’s learn 课文动画，学生跟读一遍。
（2）学生在小组内自己熟读单词
（3）呈现西红柿、胡萝卜、土豆、豆角、洋葱图片，教师示范描述胡萝卜Look at the carrots. They a re orange。
学生根据教师提供的单词卡依次描述西红柿、
土豆、豆角，运用句型Look at the .They are .
（4）解决生词洋葱onions，理解Let’s chant 句子的意思。
教师播放Let’s
chant 动画，学生跟读表演。
（5）呈现vegetable baby，找同学说出蔬菜宝宝身体构造都是由什么构成的，区分单复数。
第二关闯关成功。
Step 4：Production
（1）Design your farm，小组合作，利用获得奖品制作自己的开心农场。
首先教师呈现John 农场的图片，并描述农场，利用句子：This is my farm.
Look
at the .They are .Look at the .It is .Welcome to my farm.然后四个小组分别制作自己的农场，并推荐一名同学展示并描述自己的
农场。
到此，闯关成功。
（2）情感教育
首先呈现很多蔬菜的照片，告诉学生蔬菜有利于身体健康，要多吃蔬菜。
其次，播放公益广告，让学生学会珍惜粮食、远离浪费。

（1）学习了四类蔬菜：tomatoes，potatoes，carrots，green beans。
（2）学会珍惜粮食、远离浪费。

Unit 4 At the farm单靠“死”记还不行，还得“活”用，姑且称之为“先死后活”吧。
让学生把一周看到或听到的新鲜事记下来，摒弃那些假话套话空话，写出自己的真情实感，篇幅可长可短，并要求运用积累的成语、名言警句等，定期检查点评，选择优秀篇目在班里朗读或展出。
这样，即巩固了所学的材料，又锻炼了学生的写作能力，同时还培养了学生的观察能力、思维能力等等，达到“一石多鸟”的效果。
PA Let's learn（P39）教案死记硬背是一种传统的教学方式，在我国有悠久的历史。
但随着素质教育的开展，死记硬背被作为一种僵化的、阻碍学生能力发展的教学方式，渐渐为人们所摒弃；而另一方面，老师们又为提高学生的语文素养煞费苦心。
其实，只要应用得当，“死记硬背”与提高学生素质并不矛盾。
相反，它恰是提高学生语文水平的重要前提和基础。
教学目标要练说，先练胆。
说话胆小是幼儿语言发展的障碍。
不少幼儿当众说话时显得胆怯：有的结巴重复，面红耳赤；有的声音极低，自讲自听；有的低头不语，扯衣服，扭身子。
总之，说话时外部表现不自然。
我抓住练胆这个关键，面向全体，偏向差生。
一是和幼儿建立和谐的语言交流关系。
每当和幼儿讲话时，我总是笑脸相迎，声音亲切，动作亲昵，消除幼儿畏惧心理，让他能主动的、无拘无束地和我交谈。
二是注重培养幼儿敢于当众说话的习惯。
或在课堂教学中，改变过去老师讲学生听的传统的教学模式，取消了先举手后发言的约束，多采取自由讨论和谈话的形式，给每个幼儿较多的当众说话的机会，培养幼儿爱说话敢说话的兴趣，对一些说话有困难的幼儿，我总是认真地耐心地听，热情地帮助和鼓励他把话说完、说好，增强其说话的勇气和把话说好的信心。
三是要提明确的说话要求，在说话训练中不断提高，我要求每个幼儿在说话时要仪态大方，口齿清楚，声音响亮，学会用眼神。
对说得好的幼儿，即使是某一方面，我都抓住教育，提出表扬，并要其他幼儿模仿。
长期坚持，不断训练，幼儿说话胆量也在不断提高。
