In the first 2 months of 2012, sales of furniture remained stable in three regions.2500 units were sold in USA, 1500 were sold in Europe, and 500 were sold in China. However, sales in China steadily rose. From the beginning of April to the end of May, the sales in USA and China both increased gradually. However, while the sales in USA remained 4000 units between the beginning of June and the end of November, there was a dramatic jump in the sales in China. The sales in China gradually increased again after the jump in the rest of the years.
In the first 2 months, the consumption level may account for the difference between sales in three regions. After the introduction of kits, the performance of sales in different areas vary from each other maybe because American don’t care a scrap whether to buy furniture in pack while Chinese thought it cheaper and more convenient to buy kit furniture and European dislike to have all furniture in their home share the same style. The reason why sales didn’t increase in June might be that people planned to spend their money in traveling and going for joy in the holidays rather than buy furniture.。
