Unit 8 At Christmas.教学设计设计思路:本单元的话题是圣诞节。

圣诞节是西方国家的传统节日,就像中国人过春节一样,圣诞节的氛围影响着每一个人。

教师课前可以准备一些与圣诞节有关的图片、物品和圣诞歌曲,设计教学活动,引入话题。

本单元设计的活动有购买圣诞树和礼物、圣诞老人讲心愿、装饰圣诞树和享用大餐等,教师可根据时间的先后顺序,将这些活动作一个有序的安排,从而将本单元的重点句型first/next/then/finally,与之有机的结合起来。

基于圣诞节的主题,教师可安排学生课前准备一些简单的礼物,然后设计互赠礼物等活动,使学生们在动中学,学中记,记中用,以便更好的理解课文。

通过分享圣诞老人的故事和说自己的计划,让学生复习课堂所学,并锻炼学生的口语。

课后反思:我执教5A Unit8 At Christmas的Story time, 本课的重点是帮助理解、掌握语篇内容,了解有关圣诞节的活动,能初步运用First…Next…Then…Finally…句型来叙述圣诞节活动的先后顺序,并且尝试说说、写写自己的圣诞节活动。

教学中我用歌曲导出课题,用First…Next…Then…Finally…句型罗列出本节课学习内容,告诉孩子本节课的学习目标流程,让学生有目的地学习;并运用此流程将本课的各个环节串联起来。

首先学习有关圣诞节知识,了解圣诞节的时间,新授词汇:Christmas tree/ Father Christmas/ present/ stocking/ card/ turkey/ pudding 等。

在教学文本时,我分了三个环节。

Watch and find, 引导学生观看动画在图片中找出他们的圣诞物品。

读课文,并填写表格,了解他们的圣诞节准备活动,并让学生将图片以正确顺序贴到黑板上;接着通过Listen and order, 来了解平安夜和圣诞节当天的情况,学生自己将短语以正确的顺序贴到黑板上。

在初步理解课文后,引出表示时间的副词:first…next…then…finally…,帮助学生理解。

在Listen and repeat之后,让学生分组阅读,自选喜欢的方式。

在此之后,我用几个关键动词帮助学生回忆文本,让学生尝试复述。

在拓展环节,我引导学生用已学的有关圣诞节活动的词组描述一下自己的圣诞节,进一步提高学生对于本课知识的综合运用。

为了调动学生课外阅读的兴趣,我引入了文本相关的绘本,由于时间的限制,课堂上并不能很好地展开,只是简单的介绍。

在整堂课中,我关注学生的学,用多种形式辅助教学,并多次使用小组合作学习,注重细节,单词、词组的教学较为扎实,其中put pretty things on the blackboard是亮点,学生学习热情比较足。
