3.Enjoy a story学习绘本Merry Christmas, little Critter!【设计意图】：通过学习与文本相关的绘本，激发学生阅读绘本的兴趣，从而让学生广泛阅读，扩大学生的阅读量。

通过分享圣诞老人的故事和说自己的计划，让学生复习课堂所学，并锻炼学生的口语。
课后反思：我执教5A Unit8 At Christmas的Story time, 本课的重点是帮助理解、掌握语篇内容，了解有关圣诞节的活动，能初步运用First…Next…Then…Finally…句型来叙述圣诞节活动的先后顺序，并且尝试说说、写写自己的圣诞节活动。
教学中我用歌曲导出课题，用First…Next…Then…Finally…句型罗列出本节课学习内容，告诉孩子本节课的学习目标流程，让学生有目的地学习；并运用此流程将本课的各个环节串联起来。
首先学习有关圣诞节知识，了解圣诞节的时间，新授词汇：Christmas tree/ Father Christmas/ present/ stocking/ card/ turkey/ pudding 等。
在教学文本时，我分了三个环节。
Watch and find, 引导学生观看动画在图片中找出他们的圣诞物品。
读课文，并填写表格，了解他们的圣诞节准备活动，并让学生将图片以正确顺序贴到黑板上；接着通过Listen and order, 来了解平安夜和圣诞节当天的情况，学生自己将短语以正确的顺序贴到黑板上。
在初步理解课文后，引出表示时间的副词：first…next…then…finally…,帮助学生理解。
在Listen and repeat之后，让学生分组阅读，自选喜欢的方式。
在此之后，我用几个关键动词帮助学生回忆文本，让学生尝试复述。
在拓展环节，我引导学生用已学的有关圣诞节活动的词组描述一下自己的圣诞节，进一步提高学生对于本课知识的综合运用。
为了调动学生课外阅读的兴趣，我引入了文本相关的绘本，由于时间的限制，课堂上并不能很好地展开，只是简单的介绍。
在整堂课中，我关注学生的学，用多种形式辅助教学，并多次使用小组合作学习，注重细节，单词、词组的教学较为扎实，其中put pretty things on the blackboard是亮点，学生学习热情比较足。
