Jiangxi Province is located in the southeast of China, on the south bank of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, enjoying prominent geographical advantages and convenient transportation. It is in the hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta and Southern Fujian delta. It is surrounded by mountains in the east, west and south, while with flat landform in the north and gently rolling hills in the middle.

Wuyuan is located in the northeast of Gan(Gan is the short name of Jiangxi), at the boundary area of Anhui and Zejiang Provinces. It is a mountainous county with an area of ca. 2,947.51 square kilometers. Regarded as the most beautiful rural area in China, it is well known as a shining point in the tourist loop route of the Yangtze River Delta and one of the hottest tourist destinations of the whole tourism circle of East

China area.
