基于智慧职教的高职公共英语线上教学实践与反思

1研究背景2020年新春,一场突如其来的疫情席卷全球,给各行各业带来了一定的冲击。

在这段特殊时期里,全国各大中小学都延迟甚至取消了本年度春季学期的线下教学活动。

教育部印发的《关于在疫情防控期间做好普通高等学校在线教学组织与管理工作的指导意见》(以下简称意见)要求各高校应立足自身实际情况,充分利用已有的线上优质教学资源,依托各级各类网络在线学习平台和空间,积极开展在线教学活动,保障2020年春季学期的教学进度及质量。

高职公共英语是高职院校非英语专业大一学生的必修基础课程,该课程旨在通过结合理论和实践,让学生掌握基础的英语语言知识,培养学生的英语语言应用能力和思辨能力。

该课程课时长、受众广,在短时间内要成功展开大规模的线上教学实非易事。

娄底职业技术学院高职英语课程团队根据课程特点和授课方式提前部署,有效整合信息化教学资源,精心打造了智慧职教平台慕课——高职英语;同时,课程团队还充分利用钉钉直播、QQ及微信等现代化技术手段对学生进行个性化辅导,构建了“MOOC+钉钉直播+QQ和微信”的在线教学模式。

娄底职业技术学院高职英语课程团队于2020年2月17日展开高职英语课程在线教学,并顺利完成了全校2019级4000多名学生春季学期的线上教学任务。

2高职英语课程线上教学准备2.1选择合适线上教学平台,确定教学方式经过长期积累,智慧职教平台有大量高质量的教学资料可借鉴,利于师生学习。

再者,该平台的任务、作业和统计等模块功能齐全,便于教师管理学生的学习进度。

但是,智慧职教的缺点在于直播功能比较单薄,教师利用智慧职教难以顺利完成视频直播教学任务。

相比而言,钉钉直播的课堂同屏功能强大,播放视频流畅,但其不足之处是教学资料相对缺乏。

高职英语课程教学团队在对比考察了多个在线教学平台之后,最终根据本课程的性质与特点,选择智慧职教、钉钉、QQ和微信这几个优质平台和软件,确定了“智慧职教MOOC+钉钉直播+QQ及微信”的教学模式。

高职公共英语课程思政教学实施研究——以《Sports》单元为例摘要:公共英语是一门限定选修基础课程,其覆盖面大,教学周期长,影响深。

在培养学生学习英语和应用英语的能力的同时,充分发挥语言学科特色,将语言的工具性和文化的人文性科学融合,同步实现知识目标、技能目标、价值目标,可见公共英语是开设课程思政教学改革的理想渠道。

本文展开高职公共英语教学案例研究,探索如何挖掘教材中的思政元素,融入中华优秀文化,设计合理的教学活动,将英语课程思政教学贯穿于各个教学环节,在潜移默化中提升学生的综合文化素养。

关键词:公共英语;课程思政;教学实施一、教学实施背景2020年5月28日,教育部印发的《高等学校课程思政建设指导纲要》(以下简称《纲要》)明确指出,各高校要全面开展课程思政建设,把任务落实到每门课、每位教师,守好每段渠,种好每份责任田,把知识目标、能力目标、价值目标三者融会贯通,改善人才培养质量,要切实把教育教学工作落到实处,破解“两张皮”问题,使课程教育和思政教育同向同行,将思政之“盐”溶于课程之“水”,潜移默化中引导学生树立正确的三观,提升学生的人文素养[1]。

2021年3月23日正式颁布的《高等职业教育专科英语课程标准(2021年版)》(以下简称《高职英语课标(2021年版)》)明确提出,在英语教学中要有机融入中华优秀传统文化,加深学生对中国文化的理解,增加文化自信,坚定中国立场,能用英语传播中国文化,同时具备国际视野,提高思辨能力[2]。

二、学情与教材分析《公共英语》是我校面向大一学生开设的一门公共限选课,旨在培养学生学习英语和应用英语的能力,为学生未来继续学习和终身发展奠定良好的英语基础。

当代00后高职学生更加注重个性发展,无论是生活中还是学习中更加突显出时代赋予他们的特色[33]。
