在本课时教学中，因为学生没有足够的生活经验，因此在教材的处理和把握上，进行了有效地取舍、组合、拓展、加深；同时，渗透基础知识点、中考考点和难点，及时适时地活化学生原有的知识，起到了很好的巩固深化作用；2.加大课堂密度，增加学生参与机会，留给学生自疑、自悟、自学、自练、自得的时间，让学生在课堂实践中提高认知能力。
3.借助多媒体，增加趣味性和直观性。
使用多媒体教学，课堂容量大，知识面宽，氛围比较鲜活，学生体验练习机会多，争取让每一个学生都能参与到教学活动中来，并且各个环节由易到难，环环相扣，面向全体学生，提高了教学质量。
4.注重情感教育于语言教学之中，适时地引入“When in Rome, do as Romans do.”的情感教学内容，较好地拉近了生活与教学的距离，教育学生要入乡随俗，使教学更加生动逼真。
二、反思教学实践中的不足之处1.导入环节不够精彩。
主要是导入没有充分调动学生的兴趣和积极性，缺乏直观性、趣味性、生动性，教学手段创新运用不够，个人感觉还是用英文歌曲和视频更能吸引学生的眼球。
2.课堂评价应进一步完善和改进。
在教学中应关注形成评价对学生发展的影响，如奖励机制以及互相评价的展示，在丰富教学实践活动的同时，能有效检验学生学习效果。
3.课堂参与互动不活跃。
在教学活动环节，只有个别学生主动举手发言，课堂气氛不够活跃。
分析感到应该是因为公开课学生有些胆怯，所以在今后的教学中，应多鼓励引导学生勇于发言，积极参与课堂活动，形成浓厚的课堂氛围，培养学生学习的自信心，增强学习的内动力。
