Unit 1 Personal and Family Life教学设计(一)第一、第二课时 Listening and Speaking一、教材分析本课教学内容选自高等教育出版社出版的“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材,《英语1 基础模块》中Unit 1听说部分,要求学生能识别个人信息,以合适的方式与他人打招呼,并能就有关个人与家庭的信息进行交流。
What do you want to know about him/her?
Unit1 Nice to meet you01

I’d like to book表达需求。
Learn the vocabularies about differentscenic spots.

Take this medicine 3 pills once after meals, and three times a day;能用本课所学知识进行流畅的对话。

For example, the Japanese will say to travelers, “Go straight down to the corner. Turn left at the big hotel and go past a fruit market. The post office is across from the bus stop.”People in Los Angeles, the US, have no idea of distance on the map: they measure distance by time, not miles. “How far away is the post office?” you ask. “Oh,” they answer, “it’s about five minutes from here.” You don’t understand completely, “Yes, but how many miles away is it, please?” To this question you won’t get an answer, because most probably they don’t know it themselves.People in Greece sometimes do not even try to give directions because tourists seldom understand the Greek language. Instead, a Greek will often say, “Follow me.” Then he’ll lead yo u through the streets of the city to the post office.Questions and Answers1. Q: What does the speaker find out while traveling around the world?A: C. People in different countries have different styles of giving directions.2. Q: Why are travelers often confused in Japan according to the passage?A: A. Most streets there don’t have name signs.3. Q: How do Japanese give directions?A: D. They use landmarks.4. Q: How do people in Los Angeles measure distance?A: B. They measure distance by time.5. Q: What will a Greek do when asked to give directions by tourists?A: C. He will lead the tourists to the place where they want to go.Speaking✐Samples——------A: Hello, could I speak to John?B: Oh, I’m afraid he’s just out at the moment. Can I take a message?A: Thanks. That’s very kind of you. Please tell him that my uncle is coming and I’llhave to pick him up at the airport, so our supper appointment has to be canceled.B: OK. Could I have your name?A: Yes, of course. This is Jenny.B: OK, I’ll tell John as soon as he comes back.A: Thank you very much.B:That’s OK.✐Samples—— Just now I called Tom to inform him of the coming English examination. But he was still in bed, so his mother answered the phone. It’s so strange. His mother seemed to be in a very bad mood and she even shouted at me. She said that I’d better stay away from Tom, otherwise she would tell the headmaster what I had done to him. I was shocked. Tom and I are just close friends and I have done nothing wrong. I just can’t figure out what his mother meant.。
