课题:人民教育出版社普通高中课程标准实验教科书Unit5.First aid一.说教材本单元的核心内容是First aid.本课时是这一单元的第一课时,中心话题是本课的话题贴近生活因此很容易引起学生的兴趣去学习本节课的内容。
由于传统的英语教学太过于强调笔试而忽略了英语的实际运用能力的培养。
因此我将结合本节课的教学内容和性质利用任务型教学方法强化学生的听和说这两块英语的训练,提高他们对英语的运用能力。
通过小组讨论对话的形式让学生同学之间相互学习,学会合作,以达到本课时教学的目标。
根据教学大纲及本单元教学内容及高中生的生理和心理他点确定本节课教学目标为:1.教学目标:通过听、说的英语学习过程,让学生掌握本节课中接触到的关于“急救”方面的单词、短语,让学生了解学习急救方法的重要性,激发学生关心他人和自己的安全,提醒他人和自己努力避免事故发生,并积极学习急救措施。
2.教学重点:根据高中英语课程培养标准和本节课的性质我将本节课的教学重点确定为通过听一篇关于First aid的听力,了解一些急救知识和提高听力水平。
3.教学难点:鉴于高中生的英语水平及不太敢说英语的心理及本节课的教学内容,我把本节课的教学难点确定为如何使学生消除心理障碍开口学生说英语,并说地道英语。
二.说学情经过一段时间普通高中英语课程的学习,学生打好了一定的英语语言基础,掌握了高中英语学习的方法,譬如,他们会运用观察、体验、探究等积极主动的学习方法,充分发挥自己的学习潜能,形成有效的学习习惯。
他们的情感已完成了一个阶段性的过渡,能够独立思考和判断事物,因此学生的这些基础为本课时和本单元Festival around the world的教学奠定了基础。
但高中生的英语口语能力比较弱所以要加强和提高。
所以在设计本教学时应以轻松和缓的气氛使学生肯用英语对话而且说得地道。
三.说教法和学法1.教法:新课标倡导教师在教学过程中的主导作用及学生在这一过程中的主体作用,要求老师与学生、共同参与课堂。

Unit5 First Aid说课稿Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. It’s my great hornour and pleasure to be here sharing my lesson with you. Today my topic is Unit5 First Aid taken from New Senior English for Chinese student’s Book 5. I have been ready to begin this representation with 7 parts. They are analysis of the teaching material, analysis of the students, teaching methods, teaching aims and demands, teaching aids, teaching procedure, and blackboard design .Well, firstly , I will talk about Part 1 analysis of the teaching materialThis unit is about first aid. By studying this unit, we will enable the students to know more about first aid, which is closely connected with their daily life. They can learn how to give instructions. It is hoped that through this unit students will feel motivated to do a first aid course which will qualify them to perform first aid procedures. At the same time, they can develop their skills of reading, listening, speaking and writing. What’s more, they can realize the importance of teamwork.Then I will talk about the next part analysis of the studentsAlthough many students have the basic abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing, they still need more opportunities to practice what they have learned, to express their ideas. Some students are not active in the class, and some even don’t like English. Therefore, I will let them study in a relaxed and agreeable atmosphere. So during my class, I will do more interactive teaching, eg. group works , or role-play etc. Then the students will be interested in the class.Next I will talk about teaching methods.The first method I will use is communicative approach, because language isused for communication. This approach emphasizes on communication and real-life situations, which adapt to this lesson very well.The second method I would like to use is task-based approach. Learnersshould be given opportunities to reflect on what they have learned. And they need to use their own minds to digest the whole lesson.Ok, let’s move on to another part, teaching aims and demands.The knowledge aim is to help students understand and master the main words and phrases and sentence patterns on the basis of understanding the text.The ability aim is to improve the students’organizing and using skills of English and to give instructions when in an emergency.The emotional aim is to increase students’ awareness of the importance of knowing about first aid and performing the first aid procedure properly and timely.Teaching aidsIn order to practice my teaching methods better, I will make use of electricity teaching equipments and all kinds of teaching means, which can develop the creativity of them. In this class, I will usepictures and PPT and so on.Now I will talk about the most important part , that is, teaching procedure.This part consists of 4 parts, warming up, lead-in, contents of key points and difficult points and homework.Step1. Warming Up (Here I will use PPT and pictures)In this part, it mainly talks about the definition of first aid. The students have to think about the kind of first aid they would give in certain situations. In my opinion, this part provides a good chance for the students to practice their oral English. So before the class begins, I will put the class into groups of three or four and leave several minutes for them to discuss in groups about the six pictures and ask them to connect the topic with their daily life closely. Then I will ask some students to share their opinions, which can activate them greatly. Of course, it also previews some vocabulary that will appear later in this unit. If there are students not participating, I will direct them by asking them questions about the situations.Step2. Lead-in.This part prepares students for the reading passage and relates the subject to their own experience. It also previews some of the language in the reading passage. In the pre-reading part, the students can see the given picture. Then I will let them discuss what they should do after the burn. Meanwhile, I will ask them several questions:What has happened in the picture?What sort of injuries will the child have?What first aid treatment will you give in this situation?Then ask the students in groups about their own experiences. By thinking about the questions, the students can make themselves more interested in the lesson . This step acts as a pavement for the next part, that is, reading part. This part will develop their reading skills, such as, skimming ,detail reading etc. Firstly, I will ask the students to read the title of the text and the headings within it. Then ask them what the topic of the text is and how the information is organized. Next, ask them to conclude the main idea of each paragraph, which can help hem better comprehend the whole passage. Then ask them to read the text and underline the words they are not sure about. I will ask them to look up to the dictionary first. And I will explain the key words and main sentence structures to them.HomeworkDo the exercises in the workbook. And I will ask the students to imagine a specific situation and then write a composition.Blackboard design.In this part, I will make the blackboardnotes largely , clearly and orderly as possible as I can.
