本单元旨在学习Louis Braille的生平，并结合本模块新知学会介绍人物的事迹。
我根据本班学生特点，以及本课内容，通过直观教学法、TPR教学法等手段完成本单元目标。
本课的设计中，我要求学生通过表达、询问、解释、沟通等多种语言活动形式来完成任务，同时注重英语中听、说、读、写各项基本技能的训练；英语课程标准强调重视学生实际语言运用能力的培养，倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式，在自主探究与合作交流中学习和运用语言。
在教学中我着眼于学生语言运用的培养，采用激励性评价、师生评价、生生互评等多元性评价方式，在教学活动中充分激发学生的求知欲和表现欲，实现教学过程的最优化。

(1) 学会用what, where, why, who, how等疑问代词提问。
(2) 学会模仿课文谈论自己，以及自己的偶像和模范人物。
2. 语言技能目标：
通过本课的学习，培养孩子听、说、读、写的能力，培养孩子自主学习、能动学习、开拓学习的能力和综合运用语言的能力。
3. 文化意识目标：
增进对国内外模范人物的了解，培养孩子的跨文化意识。

教学反思：
本课主要目标为模仿课文，介绍自己熟悉的人物的生平。
学生通过对课文Helen Keller 的复习，对Louis Braille生平的学习，学会了如何描述人物的事迹。
本课最后一个活动环节为介绍一个自己熟悉的人物，从学生活动情况来看，要简单介绍一个人物，对学生来说不是难事。
可见课前的铺垫、复习是有效的，学生对新课知识的掌握是扎实的。
但在学生描述过程中，个别学生会混淆be动词的用法，在今后的活动中应该多注意这方面的训练。
