中国电影片名英译研究——以2019年北美上映的中国影片为例

图1从图1可以看出，直译为影片片名翻译的主要策略，占53.8%；意译次之，占30.8%；音译与创造性翻译所占比重虽相对较小；但总体来看，所占比例在逐渐增加。
本文中创造性翻译主要指巧妙地运用音译、直译和意译相结合的方式，例如：《鬼吹灯之云南虫谷》译为Mojin: The Worm Valley 。
《鬼吹灯》系列影片改编自天下霸唱的悬疑盗墓小说，摸金校尉则是小说中主角所属的盗墓流派。
该流派有“人点烛，鬼吹灯”一说，摸金校尉见灯灭则要退出墓穴。
此处，片名前半部分音译为Mojin，一方面直指影片核心，讲述摸金校尉的故事；另一方面，增加了影片的异域风情，引起西方观众的兴趣。
片名后半部分为直译，表明影片发生的具体地点及该地的特点。
从表1还可以看出，能够直观体现中国文化特色的直译、音译和创造性翻译等翻译方法占70%左右，此类翻译方法不仅展现了影片的民族特色，推动了中国文化的传播，也易于美国观众的理解，引起他们观看的兴趣；也从侧面说明，中国影片在走向国际舞台的同时，一直秉承推动“文化走出去”的使命，以此提升中国文化“软实力”。
一、引言随着综合国力的不断增强，中国与各国间的交流不断深化，提升我国文化的影响力已成为大势所趋。
自从“文化走出去”战略实施后，越来越多的中国元素出现在世界文学、影视和时尚等领域中，中国“文化走出去”取得了显著的成绩。
作为一种重要的文化传播方式，中国影片直接反映了我国独特的风土人情、宗教信仰、意识形态和价值观念等，对于“文化走出去”有着积极的促进作用。
同时，我国也出台了一系列的相关政策，其中包括《广播影视“走出去”工程的实施细则》(2001)、《文化建设“十一五规划”》(2006)、《文化产业振兴规划》(2009)、《文化部“一带一路”文化发展行动规划》(2016)、《关于加快电影院建设促进电影市场繁荣发展的意见》(2018)等，这些政策积极地推动了中国电影的发展，无论是票房还是口碑都达到了前所未有的高度。

中国电影是“中国⾛向世界”的⼀个重要途径，⽽电影⽚名则起着⾮常重要的⼴告宣传作⽤。
本⽂针对中国电影⽚名英译的特点及其现状，就其汉译英的翻译⽅法进⾏讨论，使电影⽚名形式和电影内容达到统⼀，更好地宣传影⽚，促进中外⽂化的交流。
关键词：中国电影⽚名英语翻译⽅法⼀、引⾔作为⼀门影像技术，电影⽤镜头来反映⼀个国家、⼀个社会的⽣活，属于跨⽂化交际的活动。
世界各国的电影交流不仅开阔了观众的视野，⽽且带去了异域的风情与⽂化。
中国电影正是拉近外国观众与中国⽂化之间距离的桥梁。
因此，“电影⽚名的翻译就要做到凸显内容，传达主题信息，确⽴全⽚感情基调，提供审美愉悦，吸引观众，增加票房，让电影译名在译⼊语国家观众中产⽣与原⽚名在源语国家观众中⼤致相同的效果”。
⼆、中国电影⽚名英译的特点及其现状随着中国经济地位的提⾼，以及中西⽂化交流活动的⽇渐增多，中国电影不断地打进欧美市场，受到了全球的瞩⽬。
除了演员努⼒演出外，各式各样的电影名称也是吸引观众的⼀⼤关键。
巧妙的译名不仅能有效地进⾏⽂化传播，还能为影⽚带来可观的票房收⼊。
翻译⽬的论认为，翻译并不是以原⽂本为基础的符号翻译。
⽚名翻译不能是对电影原⽚名的语⾔符号进⾏简单的直译。
电影⽚名的⽂化特⾊是译者在翻译过程中必须考虑的因素之⼀。
中国影⽚通常喜好使⽤动词，使⽚名显得动感⼗⾜，如《追》、《寻枪》；四字词组具有⾔简意赅、朗朗上⼝的修辞效果，富含中国传统⽂化韵味，如《花样年华》、《⼀声叹息》、《⼩城之春》、《东邪西毒》；还倾向于有艺术性或富有诗意的⽚名，如《⼀江春⽔向东流》、《像⾬像雾⼜像风》；引⽤也是⾮常常见的，如《满江红》、《满城尽带黄⾦甲》。
电影译名如果不能将原电影名的⽂化内涵准确传递，势必⼤⼤降低影⽚的吸引⼒。
三、中⽂电影⽚名的翻译⽅法要想得到贴切的译名，译者就要在完全理解电影内容的基础上进⾏翻译，以免对⽚名造成误译。
中国电影名的英文翻译
中国电影名的英文翻译我有个同学北外毕业，专业英语十级，经常用英文写点十四行诗什么的，看电影坚持开原声关字幕的那种，立志要作中西方交流的桥梁。
不过，我做了一个假设：即便是他，如果有一天，老外谈及中国电影，他也要大眼瞪小眼。

2. 意译法
由于中英两种语言文化的差异，如果片面强调保留 片名的形式，就会影响意译的准确传达，不能达到中英 文片名的对等。既然是意译，就要以改变片名的语言形 式为代价，最大限度的保持片名所表达的内容。在具体 操作中，译者经常运用增词、减词、转类、扩展等方法 进行翻译，从而起到深人传达原片内容，增强片名感染 力的作用。

【摘要】随着中西交流的日益频繁，西方电影快速涌入了中国市场。
然而这些影片能否在中国市场获得票房成绩，除了电影本身的制作投入外，还需要电影片名的辅助作用。
同一部英文电影在中国大陆与香港和台湾地区上映时却往往出现不同的中文译名。
针对这一现象本文总结了一些常见的翻译方法和原则，对大陆和港台地区在英文电影名汉译上的差异进行了比较。
