英语作业设计案例
新目标英语九年级unit 1How can we become good learners?作业设计例析(一)预习作业
1.作业设计背景说明
本课时围绕本单元中心句型,用“How do you study for a test? I study for a test by…”来表达学习做某事所用的方法。
新的词汇和短语较少,之前学生已经
学习并掌握了一些与请求有关的短语和句型。
2.作业题目
拼读Unit1 Section A(1a-2d)新单词,认读和理解1a部分的短语,观察短语的搭配形式,摘录新单词或短语,建立到个人词汇库中。
3.设计意图
通过完成词汇预习作业,丰富自己的词汇库,有利于培养学生主动学习的习惯和自学英语的能力,学生能总结出适合自己的英语学习方法,不仅增强他们学习英语的自信心,而且为他们的终身学习打下坚实的基础。
(二)示例作业
1.作业设计背景说明
1a部分主要学习并巩固本单元一些重点短语,为后面开展谈论学习方法讨
论做好准备工作。
2.作业题目
How do you study for a test? I study for a test by…
3.设计意图
在教师的指导下,学生进行两人小组活动,对ppt图片内容进行问答,帮助学生进一步巩固有关“How do you study for a test?”和相关词汇、短语和句型,也为后面1b,2a,2b的听说任务做好铺垫。
学生看图提问或者回答同伴的问题,培养了他们用英语与他人交流的能力,增强了他们说英语的信心。
(三)随堂作业
1.作业设计背景说明
1b,2a,2b是通过听录音,让学生了解做某事的方式。
通过口语训练与练习,以达到对“How do you study for a test? I study for a test by…”熟练运用的程度。
2.作业题目
(1)Role play. 学生进行角色表演,二人一组,A和B,老师鼓励学生不看书表演。
(2)Survey and report. 四人小组进行讨论,一人做记者,问其他三个人How do you study for a test? 然后根据他们的回答进行汇报。
3.设计意图
角色表演将学生课堂上输入到大脑中的信息采用说的方式输出。
学生在做中学,在玩中学,克服了语言学习的枯燥感,使语言学习充满了活力。
调查促使学
生运用英语去跟同学交流,了解同学的新年打算以及实施计划,增进对同学的了解。
用英语汇报调查结果,能够提高学生组织语言的能力。
角色表演和调查汇报增强了学生的合作意识和合作能力,进一步加强了学生的记忆,使学生养成了良好的学习习惯,并提高了学生的英语口语水平。
(四)巩固性作业
1.作业设计背景说明
2d都是发生在Jack 和Annie之间的对话,其内容是Jack向Annie征求如何学好英语的建议要求。
当然,我在教学中并不局限于书本上的教学内容,利用书本原有资源,扩展教学内容。
2.设计意图
巩固性作业是针对本节课所学内容进行复习,其目的在于巩固学习效果。
学生将书本对话整理成小短文,并且讲述给同伴听。
这一作业检查了学生对本堂课学习内容的掌握程度,加深了学生对于学习内容的理解。
即帮助学生巩固知识,
又锻炼学生的思维和口语表达能力。
同时,教师给出不同的角色,实质是给了学生作业目的一致但难度不同的两份作业。
分层次的作业,满足不同学生的能力、兴趣与需要。
教师把选择作业的
自主权交给了学生,让学生各取所需,调动了学生的学习积极性,学生的自主、
能动作用得到尊重和发挥。
既“吃饱”又“吃好”,提高了学生做作业的兴趣和学习效率。
(五)提高性作业
1.作业设计背景说明
学生已经掌握了关于请求他人做某事的问答句型,
如“How did you study for a test? I studied by…能够就自己和他人的活动做一个口头报告。
2.作业题目
作业: 运用How did you study for a test?和家长对话,询问他们年轻时期的学习方法。
3.设计意图
让学生和父母进行对话,一方面能够巩固所学内容,让父母知道孩子在学校所学知识;另一方面,也能达到与父母交流的效果,可以增进彼此之间的了解。
语言必须在应用中才能熟练,学生在生活中不断学习、运用英语,边学习边实践,以用促学,学以致用。
作业设计使学生学习用英语对获取的信息进行处理
和使用。
学生通过体验、参与和实践等方式,实现任务的目标,感受成功。
