能力目标：1、能够听懂会说句型“We have two new friends today./I’m …I’m from…/Welcome!/Where are you from? ”并能在实际情景中加以运用。
2、能够听懂、会说、认读单词Canada，China，USA，UK，she，he，teacher，student（pupil），能做简单的自我介绍。
3、能够听懂、会说、认读、书写含有元音字母a的闭音节单词“cat，bag，hand，dad”，了解元音字母a在闭音节里的发音规律。
情感目标：1、要求学生养成尊重他人，团结友爱的好习惯。
2、了解不同国家国旗、代表性动物和建筑等知识。

能力目标：能运用所学句型进行口语交际。
情感目标：激发学生学习英语的兴趣以及培养学生良好的学英语习惯三、教学重难点：理解单词boy，girl，friend。
1.boy和from的读音不易掌握。
2.认识和理解英语中人名、地名及国家名称的写法和读法。
四、教法学法：示范法，游戏法五、教具准备：头饰，卡片，多媒体课件等六、教学过程1、warning-up：师生问候，用英语打招呼Welcome back to school！复习巩固学过的内容，创设英语学习氛围。
2、Revision将音乐声调小，不完全关掉，教师走到学生跟前，进行日常对话。
3、Presentation1.教师借助Amy和Zhang Peng的头饰向学生介绍引出单词：boy，girl，friend。
2.利用单词卡片教学生认读单词:boys and girls, today, new friends。
3.教师带头饰自我介绍：Hi，I’m Amy. I’m from the UK.借助国旗引导学生认识英国的英语名称。
4.教师带头饰自我介绍：Hi，I’m Zhang Peng. I’m from Shandong.借助国旗引导学生认识英国、美国和加拿大的英语名称。
5.教师点拨：英语中人名、地名和国家名称的首写字母大写的写法。
the UK是英文缩写形式必须都大写，读作U和K。
（6）听课文录音，跟读对话。
4、Practice①学生两人一组分角色练习对话。
②小组展示：表演对话。
③ Look and say：看国旗，编对话运用句子：I’m /I’m from介绍自己及自己的情况。
理解What about you？的含义。
5、Consolidation：①课件展示四个过年国旗，国旗下分别表上A,B,C,D.老师播放实现录制好的磁带②让学生听录音并选择正确的国旗序号。
③让学生反复听A部分Let’s talk的录音，读熟课文。
七、作业（Homework）仿照课文对话，自己创编对话并表演。
读课文2遍，家长签字。

老师在黑板上慢速书空写，让学生注意观察，发现的同学可以抢答是什么单词。

通过本单元的学习，更好地为以后学习介绍他人奠定基础;字母的学习也为以后的学习打下基础。
课本通过新学期新学生与大家见面、学生之间做自我介绍的情景，让学生感知句型的意义及应用情景。
2.学情分析三年级学生经过半年的学习，对英语有了全新的认识，加上社会与家庭的渲染与影响，学生对新课程充满了好奇想了解英语究竟是怎么一回事，学习热情也比较高。
这也是学生从对英语的无知向求知发展的动力。

第1单元第2课，学生学习的核心句型是I’m from…。
教学目标是要求学生能够听懂、辨认图片中所学的单词及其书写形式，了解中国和主要英语国家的国旗及标志性建筑物，拓展中外文化知识。
第1单元第3课，课时涉及的课标要求分为语音和书写两部分，语音部分主要学习字母a在单词中的发音，即短元音，教学目标是通过拆音、拼音和分类等语音意识训练活动，让学生归纳a字母在单词中的发音规律；书写部分要求学生通过描红单词初步掌握单词书写的要求并辨认词形。
第1单元第4课，课时内容是A部分Let’s talk的延伸。

本课时的教学目标是要求学生能够理解对话大意，能够用正确的语音语调朗读对话，并能够运用Where are you from？ I’m from…在模拟的语境中询问他人的籍贯或回答他人的提问。
第1单元第5课，要学习he，she，teacher，student 四个单词，由于前面的教学中，已有多次出现，学生对这些词汇已比较熟悉。
因此，本部分的教学目标是帮助学生在认读词形的基础上，通过创设情景交流活动，让学生在语境中强化he和she的用法训练，培养学生综合运用语言的能力。
第1单元第6课，主要内容是检测与故事学习。
检测部分为学生根据图片和录音完成相关的选择，巩固本单元的重点知识；故事教学部分，学生除了复习巩固句型I’m a teacher.和I’m a student.外，还要通过图片和上下文理解一些新句子。

教学过程1.热身、复习(Warm-up/Revision)(1)开火车学生以开火车的形式用Where are you from?I’m from...句型进行问答练习。
(2)教师让学生分小组表演B部分Let’s talk的对话,并请四组学生向全班进行展示,对表现好的小组奖励贴画。

①教师利用简笔画画一个女孩的头像,引出句子She’s a girl.She is Amy.帮助学生理解单词she。
