Transnational marriage means marriage goes beyond the national borders, as well as forming a marriage between people of different countries.

Interracial marriages can cause many problems within the family. Due to the fact that the couple has a different family background, culture, and custom, and social class levean occur. Religion can be a problem. If the two has a different religion then the other one, there is a problem. Because some religions celebrate certain holidays while others don't. In Christianity, for example, Christians celebrate Christmas while Buddudists don't. Eating habits can also be a problem. One might eat certain food the other don't or dislike. After all, their offspring will encounter problems too. Childrens who are mixed are not likely to be accepted in certain areas in a community. They often have a hard time fitting in. Interracial marriage is not a good idea, but it is still alright to marry someone who is different than you.

跨国婚姻与国际婚姻是同义词，已合并。
国际（跨国）婚姻介绍：据悉，在涉外婚姻中，日本人最受上海人的青睐，占境外人员总数的39.6%；其它相对集中的国家和地区是美国（9.1%）、澳大利亚（6.1%）、香港（5.5%）、加拿大（3.9%）。
随着中国对外开放的深入，世界在逐渐了解中国，中国人也在逐渐了解世界的异性跨国婚姻。
他们走进了我们的生活，有的甚至成为了我们生活中的一分子。
于是，有些中国人漂洋过海，嫁给了外国男人或者娶了外国女孩。
自上世纪80年代初期以来，中国跨国婚姻的登记数几乎是逐年繁荣昌盛。
1982年，中国跨国婚姻登记数为14193对，而到了1997年已达50773对，涉及53个国家和地区。
国际（跨国）婚姻登记审批：申请凡证件齐全，符合《中国公民同外国人办理婚姻登记的几项规定》的中国公民和外国人，可持上述证件到涉外婚姻管理登记机关提出申请结婚登记。
审查婚姻登记机关接受当事人的结婚申请后，应进行认真审查。
审查内容主要有三点：（1）双方当事人是否自愿；（2）当事人双方是否具备结婚的实质要件；（3）双方都是外国人的，当事人还需提供本国法律在国外办理结婚登记有效的条文，以保证我国婚姻登记的有效性。
登记经婚姻管理登记机关审查，认为当事人符合结婚登记条件的，准予登记，并应在一个月内办理登记手续，发给结婚证。
中国公民和外国人要求复婚的，按结婚的程序办理登记。
申请结婚的中国公民和外国人，应向婚姻管理登记机关交纳婚姻证书工本费和登记手续费。
所需翻译费用由本人自付。
