作为您孩子的英语老师，我也盼望着与您交流，共同探讨孩
子成才的问题。英语学不好，在今后的社会中就难以立足，英语
都起着很大的作用。两个月来，部分同学，进步的跨度相当大;
也有很多同学保持了原有的水平，不过，还有一些同学需要更多
努力。
在英语课堂上，大部分学生都能很活跃的回答老师提出的问
题，积极跟着老师拼读单词，朗读课文。其实要学好英语，课上
占40%，其余的60%还需要学生在课后不断的巩固，加深记忆。
在课上老师更多的是教授新知识，当然课上也会有少量的时间巩
固新学的知识。但是这些时间是公共的时间，而不是每个学生私
有的时间，所以不可能照顾到每个学生，不可能让所有学生都达
到相同的程度。况且每个学生对新知识得接受能力都是不同的，
有的可能当堂就已经有很深的印象，很难忘记，但这肯定是很少
的。大部分学生都只能是初步接触了新知识，要真正接受新知识
还要学生在课后多下功夫，不然肯定会和别的同学拉下差距。
一个星期，接触英语的时间，只有三节课，120分钟，刚好
2个小时，期间让孩子说的时间又有多少?接触语数的时间一个
星期又有多少?所以孩子英语学的怎么样，首先看他时间有没有
充分利用够。
在学校中每个孩子的学习时间都差不多,但校外的时间长短
则不同。希望各位家长能针对自己孩子的实际情况进行监督，要
教导您的孩子要有吃苦耐劳的精神。我确信：学好英语和智商无
关，学不好英语的人都是懒惰的人。因此孩子们需要再努力。我
想孩子的努力也需要您的支持和合作。现在的英语成绩不仅直接
影响孩子的期末考试，还影响着孩子将来的英语学习!
那么在课后学生到底该怎么做才能把其余的60%补回来呢?
英语毕竟不是我们自己的语言，大多数学生除了英语课其余时间
根本就不会想到要说英语，所以，在课后一定要主动抽时间为自
己学习英语。学好英语，不外乎就是在听，说，读，写这些方面
下功夫。
首先说一下听，光靠上课听一点点的磁带，学生的听力根本
就不能有什么发展。不会听就不能说，学了英语就是要说，那不
是白学了么?我每天叫学生回家要跟录音机读英语，可是有多少
学生真地做到了呢?听录音机跟读，听见什么就跟着说什么。所
读的知识已经学过了，跟录音机读应该是提高自己的听力和口语
表达能力，要学生尽力地去模仿录音机里的发音，从而使自己的
听力和口语都提高一个层次。
接下来是说，英语是一门语言，学了就是要说，要和别人交
流。我们学的英语不应该是哑巴英语，要让每个学生学会勇敢地
说出来。在课上我会用各种方法来刺激学生，激发他们说英语的
积极性，大多数学生也确实做得很好。可是班级里人多，对每个
人来说，说的机会就少。所以下课也要说;放学回家也要说。在
学校，我鼓励学生把所学的英语对话运用到生活中去，这样有更
真实的情景，更能让学生有发挥的余地。
接下来是读。有句话：“读书破万卷，下笔如有神。”学英
语也是这样，很多家长也明白，学英语要培养语感，也就是语言
的感觉，如果有很好的语感，那么不管是说话，做题目，还是写
文章，都很轻松，很简单了。那么语感怎么来呢?就是靠读出来
的。一定要让学生养成每天读英语的习惯，这是学英语的最基本
的学习习惯了。每天一定要读20分钟左右的英语，绝不因任何
原因间断。无论什么事情都贵在坚持嘛。如果你的子女还没有养
