读文章是一件快乐的事情，好的文章是为了让人读懂的，读懂了才能有乐趣，才会读得下去，阅读的水平才会提高。
看到一份报纸或一篇好玩的文章时，大家都抢着要读，为什么要读，因为读完了有乐趣。
咱们学汉语的过程中都有快乐阅读的过程，我们的阅读能力也都是在无穷无尽的快乐阅读中不知不觉地提高的，有谁为了提高汉语阅读水平专门去读汉语的“阅读理解”，有的话也是学汉语的.外国人。
因此，要多选择那些容易读懂的有思想，有美感，有艺术性，有内容感染力的文章来读，如诗歌、散文、优美的句子，好听的故事。
而不要特意选择艰难复杂的文章或考试卷上的阅读理解题来读。
考试卷上
的阅读理解题不是为了让你看懂和体验美感的，恰恰相反，是为了让你看不懂和糊涂的，看不懂才会答题选错，选错了才会有人得高分，有人得低分，才能拉开分数距离，才叫考试，否则大家都看懂了，都得了100分，那还叫什么考试？想考试的人为了适应一下考试在考前复习时看一下考试卷上的阅读理解题是可以的，但平时学习时可千万别抱着考试题读来读去，那样阅读会事与愿违，不仅难以提高阅读水平，反而会伤害了阅读的兴趣，对英语阅读产生厌恶感。
请相信我的观点，读简单的文章就是在提高阅读水平，简单的文章读会了，复杂的文章自然就会读了。
中国人每天看的报纸上的文章都是简单的汉语文章，谁也没专门练习过复杂的汉语阅读，但真要是哪天报纸上冒出一篇复杂的汉语文章来，大家也照样看得懂，因为读复杂文章的能力就是在读简单文章的过程中积累出来的。
