The animated series revolves around their never-ending chase and funny adventures in and around the house.Tom is always trying to catch Jerry, but no matter how hard he tries, Jerry manages to outsmart him every time. Tom uses different strategies and gadgets to catch Jerry, but they always end up causing chaos and making everyone laugh. One of my favorite episodes is when they both go on a trip to a beach. Tom tries to relax and enjoy the sun, but Jerry篇2当然可以!以下是一篇关于汤姆和杰瑞的动画片的英语小作文,长度为2000个字:Tom and Jerry: The Funniest CartoonHi everyone! Today, I want to tell you about my favorite cartoon, Tom and Jerry. It's the funniest show I have ever watched! Tom and Jerry are two characters that always make me laugh.Tom is a mischievous cat with silky fur and big, round eyes. He is always trying to catch Jerry, a clever little mouse with a long, pointy tail. Jerry is small, but he is very smart and can outwit Tom every time. They live in a house with lots of rooms, and their adventures take place in different parts of篇3Tom and Jerry: The Never-Ending Cat and Mouse ChaseHi there! My name is Tommy, and I absolutely love watching Tom and Jerry cartoons. They are so much fun and never fail to make me laugh. If you haven't seen Tom and Jerry before, let me tell you all about them!Tom and Jerry are two characters who have been entertaining kids like me for decades. Tom is a cat, and Jerry is alittle brown mouse. Their whole relationship is basically one big chase - Tom is always trying to catch Jerry to eat him, but Jerry is too smart and quick for the cat. No matter what crazy plans Tom comes up with, Jerry always outsmarts him in hilarious ways. The things I love most about these cartoons are the slapstick humor and the bright, colorful animation. The action is soover-the-top and exaggerated that it becomes absolutely silly and funny. Tom will get blown up, flattened, stretched out, or hurt in a million other ridiculous ways. But then in the next scene, he's perfectly fine and ready to scheme again! The violence is so unrealistic and cartoony that it's just pure entertainment. The animation itself is so vibrantly colorful and energetic. Jerry zips around at lightning speed, and Tom chases after him, knocking over everything in his path. Their chases take them through all kinds of wacky settings - a house, the outdoors, even fantasy worlds sometimes. No matter where they go, hilarious destruction is sure to follow. Watching Tom swing a chair through a wall or pull up flooring as he runs is pure delight. But my favorite part of the cartoons is all the creative ways Jerry outsmarts Tom. That little mouse may be small, but he is one smart cookie! He's always setting up elaborate traps for Tom that backfire in spectacular ways. Sometimes he'll lead Tom intoa complicated Rube Goldberg-style chain of events that ends with Tom getting clobbered. Other times, Jerry will outsmart Tom just by doing something simple but sneaky that Tom falls for every time. One of the most memorable moments for me is when Jerry ties a rifle to a stove, aiming it right at the door. When Tom comes prowling in, the gun goes off and launches him right through the roof! I loved the look on Tom's face right before he gets blasted - he seems to know he's about to get it good. Jerry doesn't even have to try that hard, and yet Tom is constantly outwitted. It's those simple gags that really make me crack up.Another classic is when Jerry slams a frying pan down on Tom's head, leaving Tom to stagger around seeing tweeting birdies circling his head. Or there's the time Jerry tricked Tom into splitting himself into a million pieces with an axe, creating a house full of screaming Tom clones. No matter how many times I watch scenes like that, they never get old! While the main draw is the cat and mouse mayhem, I also love meeting the other funny characters who pop up from time to time. There's the bulldog spike who terrorizes Tom just as much as Jerry does. Or the sweet-but-slow-witted lion who can't seem to figure out that Jerry is his friend, not his prey. Myfavorite might be Butch, the tough-talking alley cat who tries to act all high and mighty but gets his butt kicked by Tom almost every time. Whenever Butch struts onto the scene, you know some extra laughs are coming!Overall, Tom and Jerry cartoons are just pure, timeless fun. Sure, some people might say the constant violence between a cat and mouse is strange. But when it's portrayed so outlandishly, with such creative gags and humor, it's impossible not to see it as harmless entertainment. Tom and Jerry have been making kids my age laugh for generations by taking aninosity between predator and prey to the wackiest extremes imaginable. At the end of the day, you know that Tom and Jerry will be right back at it again with another crazy chase scene. No matter how much poor Tom gets battered and bruised, he'll bounce back, more determined than ever to finally get his paws on that pesky little mouse. And Jerry will be ready, setting up his next over-the-top trap to send the cat flying once more. It's a simple premise, but one that offers endless laughter and excitement. I'll never get tired of watching that iconic cat and mouse duo race across my TV screen, dreaming up wilder and crazier antics with each new episode. Thanks for the endless supply of laughs, Tom and Jerry!篇4汤姆和杰瑞的动画片汤姆和杰瑞是我最喜欢的动画片里的两个角色。

状元大课堂八下英语第四单元作文

状元大课堂八下英语第四单元作文In the bustling halls of the prestigious "Number One Scholar Academy," the air is thick with anticipation and the scent of freshly sharpened pencils. It's the day of the big test, the one that will determine who gets to wear the crown of the "Top Scholar" for the fourth unit in English. The students are a mix of the nervous, the overconfident, and the downright comatose from last night's cram session. Our protagonist, Tim, is a character straight out of a classic underdog story. With his glasses slightly askew and a pencil tucked behind his ear, he's the quiet type, the one who's more likely to be found in the library than at thelocal arcade. But today, he's got a glint in his eye that says, "I'm here to play."The clock ticks away, and the test begins. It's a whirlwind of grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension questions that would make a seasoned linguist sweat. But Tim, he's got this. His hand moves swiftly across the paper, his mind a well-oiled machine processing each question with the precision of a hawk spotting its prey.Meanwhile, across the room, there's the school's golden boy, Chad. He's the one who's been at the top of the leaderboard since kindergarten, the one who's never met atest he couldn't ace. But today, there's a slight wobble in his step. His eyes dart around the room, looking for any signof weakness in his competition. As the test progresses, the room fills with the sound of pens scribbling, the occasional sigh of frustration, and the occasional snort of laughter from the back row where the class clown, Benny, is trying to lighten the mood with his own brand of humor. But the real showstopper is Tim's essay. It's a masterpiece of wit and wordplay, a narrative that weaves through the intricacies of American culture with the grace of a ballerina. It's a story about a small town with big dreams, a place where everyone knows your name and the local diner serves the best milkshakes in the state. It's a story that's as American as apple pie and as relatable as the last episode of your favorite sitcom. The bell rings, signaling the end of the test. Papers are collected, and the room empties, leaving behind the echoes of a battle well-fought. As Tim leaves the room, he can't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. He's not sure if he's won, but he knows he's given it his all.Days later, the results are announced. Tim's name is called, and he's crowned the "Top Scholar" for the fourthunit in English. It's a moment of triumph, a testament to hard work and perseverance. But as he basks in the glory, he can't help but crack a joke, "I guess I'm the number one scholar, after all. Who knew?"And with that, the room erupts in laughter, a reminderthat in the world of learning, there's always room for a little humor.。

我最喜爱的动画片汤姆与杰瑞英文80字作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Cartoon: Tom and JerryHi everyone! Today I'm going to tell you about my favorite cartoon, "Tom and Jerry"! It's a super funny and exciting cartoon that I love watching."Tom and Jerry" is an animated series about a mischievous cat named Tom and a clever mouse named Jerry. They are always getting into hilarious adventures and playing tricks on each other. The best part is that there is no talking in the cartoon, which makes it even more interesting.I really like Jerry because he is so smart and always outsmarts Tom. Even though Tom tries to catch Jerry, he never succeeds. Jerry is quick on his feet and can escape from any situation. He uses his brains to come up with clever plans while Tom keeps falling for his tricks.Tom, on the other hand, is a funny and clumsy cat. He is always trying to catch Jerry but ends up getting into all sorts offunny and embarrassing situations. Sometimes, he even gets hurt, but it's all part of the comedy. Tom's determination to catch Jerry is admirable, even if he never quite succeeds. The cartoon is full of slapstick humor, which means there are lots of physical comedy and funny actions. I can't help but laugh out loud when Tom gets hit by a frying pan or falls into a bucket of water. The animators have done a great job of making the cartoon visually entertaining.Another reason why I love "Tom and Jerry" is because it teaches us about friendship. Despite all the pranks and tricks they play on each other, deep down, Tom and Jerry care about each other. Sometimes, they even team up to defeat a common enemy. It shows that even if we have differences or disagreements with our friends, we can still find a way to get along and have fun together. Each episode of "Tom and Jerry" is like a mini adventure. They take place in different settings, such as a house, a garden, or even a beach. It's always exciting to see where the next adventure will take place and what kind of mischief Tom and Jerry will get into.In conclusion, "Tom and Jerry" is my favorite cartoon because it's funny, exciting, and teaches us about friendship. Ilove watching the clever tricks and hilarious actions of Jerry and the silly antics of Tom. It's a classic cartoon that never fails to make me laugh. If you haven't watched it yet, I highly recommend giving it a try. You won't be disappointed!I hope you enjoyed reading about my favorite cartoon, "Tom and Jerry"! It's a fantastic show that brings joy and laughter to people of all ages.篇2Tom and Jerry is my absolute favorite cartoon! I love watching the clever cat Tom chase after the mischievous mouse Jerry. Their crazy antics with anvils, TNT, and giant mallets always crack me up. Jerry is so smart to outwit big bad Tom every time. The slapstick humor never gets old to me. Whenever I'm feeling down, Tom and Jerry never fails to put a big smile on my face. That's why this classic cat and mouse cartoon is the best! And here is a 2000-word essay on the same topic, also written from an elementary student's perspective:My Favorite Cartoon Tom and JerryAh, Tom and Jerry - the legendary cat and mouse duo that has been making kids like me laugh for decades! This timelesscartoon is hands down my most favorite of all time. From the very first time I saw Tom's goofy face get smooshed by a frying pan or Jerry's little teeth chomp down on Tom's tail, I was instantly hooked. There's just something about the pure, slapstick comedy that really tickles my funny bone. What makes Tom and Jerry so special and appealing? Well, let me count the ways! First off, the characters themselves are just hilarious. You've got Tom, the dead-serious but often bungling cat who is constantly trying his hardest to catch that pesky little mouse Jerry. No matter how goofy or over-the-top his attempts get, you can't help but admire Tom's sheer determination. That persistent feline never gives up!Then there's Jerry, the charismatic underdog mouse who is tiny but packs a big punch. His ability to outsmart Tom at every turn using nothing but his wits and creativity is so inspiring. Whenever I see Jerry construct some kind of crazy mouse-trap contraption out of random items to clobber Tom, I'm in awe of his ingenuity. That little guy is like a pint-sized MacGyver! The interactions between cat and mouse are the real heart of the show though. The way they play off each other, with Tom as the aggressive straight-man and Jerry as the wisecracking trickster, creates a classic comedic dynamic. No matter how direthe situation gets, Jerry always manages to get one last quip or impression in to rile up Tom even more. And you'd better believe Tom's over-the-top, swing-for-the-fences reaction is worth a million belly laughs.Speaking of over-the-top, let's talk about Tom and Jerry's wonderful world of wild, cartoony action and slapstick. This is animation in its purest form - no rules, no limits, just complete and utter looney tunes! One moment, Tom will get flattened into a paper-thin version of himself after getting crushed by a steamroller. The next, he'll inhale a whole stick of dynamite, blowing him up into a charcoal-covered hairy mess with his skeletal bones exposed. And let's not forget the classic painting scenes where the characters become mixed up in defying the laws of physics by walking through painting scenes, getting erased, or even getting their colors switched around. It's purely bonkers stuff that you'd never see in real life, but it makes for incredible visual gags and comedic timing. The animators at MGM really went above and beyond to create the wackiest, most exaggerated slapstick imaginable for Tom and Jerry's violent (but never actually gory!) confrontations. Those old school artists must have had such a blast dreaming up all of the hilariously over-the-top ways for a cat to torment amouse and vice versa. From the ludicrously elaborate mouse traps and gadgets to the iconic, larger-than-life props like giant mallets, anvils, saws, and explosives, there's an unrestrained sense of fun and humor that really comes through. And let's be honest, who didn't dream of bonking someone over the head with a huge cartoon hammer when they were a kid? That's what's so brilliant about the world of Tom and Jerry - it taps into those primal childlike desires we all have for harmless mayhem and rebellion against authority figures. When I'm watching, I'm wholeheartedly on Jerry's side as he gets the better of poor old Tom episode after episode. As a rambunctious kid myself, I certainly identified with Jerry's refusal to be boxed in or pushed around. His plucky defiance towards the villainous bully Tom, who was always trying to squash, crush or eat the poor little guy, had me cheeringJerry on from my very first viewing. You go, Jerry! Stick it to the man! That's why I'll always have a soft spot for those old Tom and Jerry shorts in all their unrestrained, wild glory. While more contemporary animated shows and movies rely overly much on cheap pop culture references and restrained, toned-down action to appease nervous parents, Tom and Jerry is a gloriousfull-volume celebration of unchecked comedic pandemonium.By today's standards, the level of unapologetic, gleeful cruelty between the adversaries would be considered unacceptable. But when I was a kid, it was just what the doctor ordered for pure laugh-out-loud hilarity! Even the silliest, most threadbare plot set-ups like Tom chasing Jerry around your basic house setting was enough for me to become completely engrossed. Before I knew it, the outrageous antics would kick in at ludicrous speed as the gloves came off and it escalated into an all-out war between cat and mouse. Furniture would be smashed, tools and weapons appropriated into classic gag props, bodies flattened and stretched to apparent breaking points yet instantly rebounding to continue the mayhem. It was nothing but pureskadoosh-filled escapism that left me grinning from ear to ear. That's why Tom and Jerry remains so darn irresistible and utterly unique amongst animated children's fare both past and present. For all the simplicity of its basic premise abouta perpetual cat vs. mouse chase, the creative violent slapstick and unwavering commitment to pure looney tunes exhilarating action elevates it to comic masterpiece levels of hilarity. The characters have been around for over 80 years and their popularity has never waned because we could all use a heaping dose of harmless manic energy and rule-breaking anarchic spirit in our lives from time to time. When I'm having a bad day atschool or just feeling little down in the dumps, popping on a classic Tom and Jerry never fails to lift my spirits. Within minutes, I'm utterly entranced by the sights of that iconic cat and mouse leaving tread marks on each other to the bombastic tune of gloriously exaggerated sound effects. No matter how rough the road ahead may seem, Tom and Jerry always injects me with a healthy dose of rambunctious laughter that reassures me that everything will be alright and not to take life tooo seriously. Isn't that what the best comedy does - provide momentary whimsical escape and welcome relief from the stresses of everyday life?So here's to you, Tom and Jerry! My buddies, my pals, my faithful four-legged funny friends who I've watched roomfuls of times and will watch for countless more viewings to come. In a crazy, messed up world, your gleefully destructive antics are a timeless reminder that at our core, we all still harbor a bit of the rebel, the class clown, the prankster spirits within desperate to run free. I'll never outgrow my love for you two legendary idiots no matter how much more "mature" entertainment emerges over the years. You two will forever represent animatedcomedy at its unvarnished, wildest, silliest finest. Thanks for always being there with a big goofy grin, an even bigger mallet, and a spirit determined to never let anyone tell you to grow up. As Jerrywould say to Tom with a wink, "Don't you worry about a thing, cat. It's good for ya!"篇3My Favorite Cartoon: Tom and JerryHi everyone! Today I want to talk about my absolute favorite cartoon, "Tom and Jerry"! It's the best cartoon ever, and I can't get enough of it."Tom and Jerry" is a classic cartoon that has been around for a long time. It's about a cat named Tom and a clever little mouse named Jerry. They live in a house together, but they are always chasing each other and getting into funny and exciting adventures.I love this cartoon because it is so funny! Tom is always trying to catch Jerry, but somehow Jerry always outsmarts him. They use lots of creative and silly ways to play tricks on each other. It's so entertaining to watch!Another reason why I love "Tom and Jerry" is because it has no dialogue. That means there are no words spoken by the characters. Instead, the story is told through their actions and expressions. It's amazing how much can be said without usingwords. It makes the cartoon even more interesting and fun to watch. The animation in "Tom and Jerry" is also incredible. The characters move so smoothly, and the colors are so vibrant. It feels like they come to life right on the screen. The music and sound effects also add to the excitement and make the cartoon even more enjoyable.Whenever I watch "Tom and Jerry," it makes me laugh and smile. It's a cartoon that can brighten up my day and make me forget about any worries or problems. I can sit for hours and watch episode after episode, and I never get tired of it.In conclusion, "Tom and Jerry" is my all-time favorite cartoon. It's funny, clever, and full of exciting adventures. The lack of dialogue, amazing animation, and catchy music make it the best cartoon ever. If you haven't watched it yet, I highly recommend giving it a try. You won't be disappointed!

My Favorite Cartoon: Tom and JerryTom and Jerry is the bestest cartoon ever! It's about a grey mouse named Jerry who lives in a house with a cat named Tom. Tom is always trying to catch Jerry, but Jerry is too smart and fast for him. It's so funny to watch Tom chase Jerry all over the house and into the backyard. Jerry always comes up with clever plans to outsmart Tom and escape from his clutches.I love how silly Tom looks when his plans to capture Jerry fail miserably. Sometimes he gets hit on the head or has an anvil or piano dropped on him from above. Other times, Jerry will lead Tom into walking right into a wall or falling down stairs. No matter what Tom tries, Jerry can run circles around that dumb cat! It's hilarious watching Tom's frustration as Jerry taunts him and makes a goofy face.Even though Tom is the bad guy always going after poor Jerry, you can't help but feel a little sorry for him sometimes. He just wants to catch and eat Jerry, which is what cats do. But Jerry is too fast and clever. They make a great comedic duo - Tom is determined but inept, while Jerry is clever and always gets away. I'm always rooting for Jerry to outwit that mean old cat.My favorite Tom and Jerry episodes are the ones where they go on adventures outside the house. Like the time they were at the beach and Jerry was surfing while Tom got pounded by the waves. Or when they went camping in the woods and Jerry led Tom into a angry bear's cave. Those wilderness adventures are the best because there are so many new surroundings for Jerry to use against Tom in funny ways.Another thing I love is how Tom and Jerry never actually speak in words, just use amusing sound effects like Jerry'shigh-pitched gulp when he's scared or Tom's ferocious meowing. And the classical music playing dramatically in the background makes the slapstick comedy even funnier. Like when Tom gets clobbered by something and the loud crashing sound is timed perfectly to the music. It's such a clever use of visual comedy combined with music. At the end of every cartoon, no matter how many times Tom has been battered and bruised, he just brushes off the pain and keeps pursuing Jerry relentlessly. He never learns his lesson! And Jerry doesn't learn either - he keeps outsmarting Tom instead of just leaving the house to get away from that troublesome cat. I guess if they were smart, the show would end. It's their endlesscycle of chasing and failing that makes Tom and Jerry endlessly entertaining. To me, Tom and Jerry is the perfect cartoon. It's clear who the good guy and bad guy are, but you end up laughing at misfortunes on both sides. The slapstick is pure genius even though it's very silly humour. Every episode finds creative new way to have Tom run into problems while Jerry uses his tiny size to his advantage. Even after watching dozens of episodes, I still laugh at Tom's mishaps and cheer for Jerry's clever escapes and pranks.Kids and grownups can enjoy Tom and Jerry because the comedy is so brilliantly visual and told with not a word of dialogue. The animators accomplished so much using just cartoon imagery, music, and sound effects. Every movement, every reaction shot is perfectly timed for maximum laughs. It's just pure, wholesome fun watching an underdog mouse outwit a big dopey cat. What's not to love?I've watched Tom and Jerry since I was a little kid and I still crack up at every episode. I'll put on the DVDs over and over because the slapstick hilarity never gets old. Seeing Tom strategize and prepare his overly-complicated mouse traps only to ultimately fail is the funniest running gag. And Jerry's ability tomake a fool out of Tom using just his tiny size and quick thinking is so satisfying. You can't help but admire how fearless Jerry is!Even though the stories are simple, Tom & Jerry cartoons are animated so creatively and cleverely. The humor is totally timeless. I'm sure kids years from now will still be laughing at that classic cat and mouse duo. I sure hope so because I want to keep enjoying the hilarious adventures of troublemaker Jerry and his gullible feline frenemy Tom for years to come. Watching Tom and Jerry never fails to put a smile on my face!。

写一封信给爸爸英文作文介绍自己的朋友
写一封信给爸爸英文作文介绍自己的朋友全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Dear Dad,I hope this letter finds you well on your business trip. I miss you a lot, but I'm having a great time at school and with my friends. Speaking of friends, I want to tell you all about my best friend Jake.Jake and I met on the first day of first grade. We were both really shy and didn't know anybody. During recess, we ended up sitting next to each other on the playground. Jake saw I had a super cool Transformers backpack and he thought it was awesome. That's when we became friends - we bonded over our love of Transformers!Jake is really funny and always makes me laugh. Like this one time, we were in music class and the teacher asked us what sound a trumpet makes. Before I could answer, Jake stood up and made the most ridiculous "braaa braaa" trumpet sound with his mouth. I couldn't stop laughing, even though I got in trouble for it. Jake has a great sense of humor like that. He's also a really good friend. Last year when I fell off the monkey bars during recess and broke my arm, Jake stayed with me the whole time until the nurse came. He held my hand and told me silly jokes to take my mind off the pain. I was so scared, but Jake made me feel a lot better. When I got a cast, he got all our friends to sign goofy messages on it with markers. Jake is the type of friend who is always there for you.One of my favorite things about Jake is how adventurous and brave he is. You know how scared I used to be of heights? Well, Jake helped me get over that fear. During the summer, we built a awesome treehouse in his backyard out of scrap wood and old tires. It's two stories high and even has a lookout tower on top! At first I was terrified to climb up there, but Jake encouraged me and helped me every step of the way. Now we spend hours up in the treehouse reading comics, playing games, and just hanging out. I never would have done that without Jake's support.Jake is really good at sports too, Dad. He's the star player on our town's little league baseball team. Have I told you about the time he hit a grand slam in the final inning to win us the championship game? It was incredible! The bases were loaded and we were down by three runs. Everyone had given up hope, but not Jake. With two strikes already, he smashed the next pitch over the fence for a game-winning grand slam! The whole team rushed the field and we carried Jake on our shoulders. I was so proud of my best friend that day.Even though Jake is a total jock, he's also one of the smartest kids in our class. I'm not kidding, Dad - the kid is like a genius or something. He gets straight A's without even trying. Last year for the school science fair, we worked together on an experiment to see which objects are most aerodynamic. We built a wind tunnel out of cardboard boxes and Jake calculated and graphed all the data. Our project took first place! When we're not doing typical kid stuff, Jake and I also like to imagine we're adventurers or explorers. We've mapped out the entire forest behind his house and pretended it was undiscovered territory. Once we packed supplies and hiked three miles to Indian Rock, this cool spot with Native American carvings. We brought sunscreen, bug spray, granola bars - the whole nine yards. We felt just like real explorers on an expedition! Those imagination games never get old with Jake around.Dad, I feel so lucky to have such an awesome best friend. Jake is kind, supportive, adventurous, talented, and an all-around good person. We've been through so much together already inour young lives. Even though we're just kids, I know our friendship will last forever. I can't wait for you to finally meet Jake when you get back from your trip. You're going to love him!Well, that's all for my friend introduction. I hope you liked learning about Jake as much as I enjoyed writing about him. Don't work too hard on your trip, Dad. I'll see you in a few days!Love,Your Son/Daughter篇2Dear Dad,How are you doing? I hope everything is going well at work. Things are good here at home with Mom and my little brother. School is keeping me busy as always!I wanted to write you a letter to tell you about my best friend Jacob. He's the coolest kid in my class and we do everything together. I think you would really like Jacob if you got to know him.Jacob and I met on the first day of second grade. We were both feeling a little nervous starting at a new school. But Jacob walked right up to me during recess and asked if I wanted to playkickball with him and his friends. From that moment on, we became inseparable!Jacob is really good at sports, especially kickball and soccer. He's probably the most athletic kid in our grade. During recess, all the other boys always want Jacob on their team because he can kick the ball so far. I'm not as athletic as Jacob, but he never makes me feel bad about it. He's really nice and includes me in all the games. One thing I really admire about Jacob is how smart he is in school. He gets good grades in every subject without even trying very hard. Math is his favorite subject and he's amazing at it. Sometimes I get stuck on a tough math problem during homework, but Jacob always knows how to solve it. He's even helped me get better grades by explaining things in a way I can understand. I guess you could say Jacob is like a mini math teacher!Even though Jacob is really good at school, he's not a teacher's pet or anything. In fact, he can be a bit of a class clown sometimes! Jacob is always cracking jokes during lessons and making the whole class laugh. A few times he's even made the teacher laugh out loud by being so silly. But Jacob knows when to settle down and focus too.My favorite thing about Jacob is his great sense of humor. He can make me laugh until my stomach hurts just by making a goofy face or saying something ridiculous. Jacob's jokes never hurt anyone's feelings either. He's just naturally a funny and positive person to be around.Speaking of being positive, Jacob is probably the most upbeat and happy-go-lucky kid I know. Even when he's having a bad day, he always tries to look on the bright side of things. Like last month when Jacob struck out during our little league baseball game. Most kids would have gotten upset, but not Jacob. He just smiled, got himself pumped up for next time, and stayed positive. His good attitude is really inspiring.Jacob's positivity and kindness extend to how he treats everyone around him too. He's nice to every single person in our class, even the kids other people might pick on or leave out. Jacob doesn't believe in being mean or making fun of people who are different. He always sticks up for the underdog and tries to include everyone in games at recess so no one feels left out. Adults are always complimenting Jacob on what a kindhearted and inclusive young man he is.I'm lucky to have a best friend like Jacob who makes me laugh, helps me with my schoolwork, and treats me andeveryone else with respect. He's like the fun-loving brother I never had! Jacob's family seems really nice too from the few times I've met them. His mom and dad are always smiling and joking around like he does.Well Dad, that's about all I wanted to say about my awesome best bud Jacob. I wish you could meet him sometime so you could see what a great kid he is. I'm sure you two would get along great! Hopefully I can have Jacob over for a sleepover or something soon. Just let me know if that would be okay. Thanks for reading my letter and letting me tell you all about Jacob. I'll talk to you again soon! Say hi to Grandma and Grandpa for me.Love,Your Son篇3Dear Dad,How are you doing? I miss you so much! I can't wait until you get back home from your business trip. There is so much I want to tell you about what's been happening at school.First of all, I have to tell you about my new best friend Jessica. She just moved here from another town and joined my class a few weeks ago. From the very first day, I knew we would be great friends. Let me tell you all about her!Jessica is the same age as me, 9 years old. She has long brown hair that she usually wears in two braids. Her eyes are a pretty green color. She is just a little bit taller than me. Even though she is new, Jessica is already one of the most popular girls in our class because she is really friendly, funny, and nice to everyone. When Jessica joined our class, the teacher assigned me to be her "buddy" to help show her around the school and answer any questions she had. I was so excited because I really wanted to be friends with the new girl. On her first day, I introduced myself and offered to show her where everything was - the cafeteria, gymnasium, library, bathrooms, and all our different classrooms.Jessica was really shy at first, but I tried my best to make her feel welcome. I asked her lots of questions about where she used to live and her favorite things. That helped her start opening up. By the end of that first day, we were laughing and joking around like we had known each other forever!Over the next few weeks, Jessica and I became totally inseparable. We sit together in every class, eat lunch together every day, and even joined the same after-school activities. We are both in the art club and the science club. Jessica is a really talented artist - she can draw the most amazing pictures! And she is also really smart and gets great grades, especially in math and science. My favorite thing about Jessica is her great sense of humor. She is always cracking jokes and making us laugh. Like this one time, we were in art class drawing self-portraits. Jessica drew a funny cartoon version of herself with wild hair sticking out in every direction. It looked so silly but it was a really good drawing! Jessica has a way of making everything fun.Another thing I admire about Jessica is how brave and confident she is. Even though she was the new kid, she wasn't afraid to raise her hand or share her ideas in class. Last week, we had to give presentations on our favorite books. Jessica got up in front of the whole class and spoke so clearly and confidently about her favorite book Charlotte's Web. I was really impressed!Outside of school, Jessica and I have lots of fun together too. Almost every weekend, she comes over to my house or I go to her house for a sleepover. We love having dance parties in myroom, putting on fashion shows with my old clothes, and watching movies while eating too much junk food. My mom always jokes that we have enough energy to power the whole city!Jessica's family seems really nice from the few times I've met them. Her mom and dad both work, so her older brother Raymond has to help look after her some days after school. He's 15 and a little bit shy, but Jessica says he's a great big brother to her. They seem very close.Jessica's family just moved into a new house that isn't too far from ours. I've only been over there a couple times so far but I love her big backyard. We've already made plans that when it gets warmer, we'll have picnics, play on the swing set, and run through the sprinklers back there. Jessica also has a cute little puppy named Rufus who is lots of fun.I feel so lucky to have made such a great new friend like Jessica. We have so much in common and we never run out of things to talk about or do together. Jessica is such a kind, funny, smart, talented girl and I just know we'll be best friends forever. I really hope you'll get to meet her soon when you get back home!I'm counting down the days until your trip is over. Only 5 more days to go! I've missed you so incredibly much. There's stillso much more I want to tell you about my time with Jessica and all my other news from school. But I'll save some stories for when I can tell you in person. I can't wait to give you the biggest hug ever!Love,Your daughter篇4Dear Dad,I hope this letter finds you well! I miss you a lot, but I'm having a great time here at school. I can't wait to tell you all about my new friend, Emily. She's the coolest girl ever, and we've become really close over the past few weeks.Emily and I met on the first day of school when we were assigned to sit next to each other in Ms. Wilson's class. I remember feeling really nervous because it was a new school, and I didn't know anyone. But as soon as Emily walked in, she had this big, friendly smile on her face, and she immediately introduced herself to me."Hi, I'm Emily! What's your name?" she asked, plopping down in the seat next to mine."I'm [Your Name]," I replied shyly."It's nice to meet you, [Your Name]! I love your backpack. Is that a unicorn on it?" she asked, pointing to the sparkly unicorn patch on my backpack.I nodded, feeling a little embarrassed, but Emily's eyes lit up. "Unicorns are my favorite! We're going to be great friends, I can already tell."From that moment on, Emily and I were inseparable. We discovered that we had so much in common – we both love reading, drawing, and playing outside. During recess, we would race each other on the playground or make up silly games to play. Emily is so creative and always comes up with the most imaginative ideas. One day, we decided to have a secret club where we would meet under the big oak tree during recess. We called it the "Unicorn Club" because of our shared love for unicorns. We made a secret handshake and everything! Whenever we saw each other in the hallway or at lunch, we would do our special handshake, and it always made us giggle.Emily is also really good at art. She can draw the most amazing pictures, and she's always doodling in her notebookduring class. One time, she drew a picture of us as superheroes, complete with capes and masks. She gave me the picture, and I hung it up in my room as soon as I got home. But Emily isn't just a great artist; she's also really smart. She always raises her hand in class and knows the answers to all the questions. Sometimes, when I'm having trouble with my homework, Emily will help me out and explain things in a way that makes sense to me.Emily's family is really cool, too. Her mom is a chef, and she always packs Emily the most delicious-looking lunches. Emily often shares her snacks with me, and they're always so yummy. Her dad is a musician, and he's taught Emily how to play the guitar. Sometimes, during sleepovers, Emily will play me her favorite songs, and we'll sing along together. One of my favorite things about Emily is how kind and caring she is. If someone is having a bad day or feeling left out, Emily is always the first one to go over and try to cheer them up. She's never mean or excludes anyone from our games or activities.Last week, we had a field trip to the science museum, and Emily's mom was one of the chaperones. During the trip, one of the other kids in our class, Tommy, got separated from the group. Emily was the one who noticed he was missing, and sheimmediately told the teachers. Thanks to Emily, we were able to find Tommy quickly, and he wasn't lost for too long.Emily is also a lot of fun to be around. She's always cracking jokes and making everyone laugh. Sometimes, we'll have silly dance parties in her room or make up crazy skits to perform for her parents. Emily has such a great sense of humor, and she's always up for anything.I feel so lucky to have Emily as my best friend. She's kind, smart, creative, and just an all-around amazing person. I know that no matter what, we'll always be there for each other and have each other's backs.I can't wait for you to meet Emily, Dad. I know you're going to love her as much as I do. She's the best friend anyone could ask for, and I'm so grateful to have her in my life.Miss you tons, and can't wait to see you soon!Love,[Your Name]篇5Dear Dad,How are you doing? I hope everything is going well at work. I miss you a lot and can't wait for you to come home again! I have so much to tell you.You always say that friends are really important and that I should cherish my good friends. Well, I have a new best friend that I want to tell you all about! Her name is Emily and she just moved to our neighborhood a few months ago from another city.Emily is the same age as me - we're both 10 years old and in the 5th grade together. She's really nice and friendly. The first day she came to our class, she seemed a little shy and didn't talk much. But then during recess, I saw her standing alone on the playground looking lost. I went over and introduced myself. We started talking and I showed her around the school a bit. Ever since then, we've been best buddies!Emily has long brown hair and greenish-blue eyes. She's just a little bit taller than me. Her favorite colors are purple and turquoise. She loves art class and is really good at drawing and painting. Emily's drawings are so detailed and pretty! Sometimes she draws pictures for me of animals or nature scenes. I have them all hanging up in my room. One of the cool things about Emily is that she was born in another country - Australia! She lived there until she was 8 years old. So she has a bit of an Australian accent, which I think sounds really neat. Sometimes she says funny words or phrases that I'm not used to hearing. Like instead of saying "vacation" she says "holiday." And she calls the bathroom the "loo." It always makes me giggle a little when she does that.Emily's family is really nice too. Her dad works for some big company and that's why they moved here for his job. Her mom is a nurse. And she has a little brother named Oliver who's 6 years old and just started 1st grade at my school too. We always walk home together after school and Emily's mom walks with us.At recess and after school, Emily and I love playing pretend games together. Our favorite is where we pretend we're explorers trekking through a jungle or forest. We use our imaginations and tree branches become vines, the grass is quicksand, and we have to watch out for predators like tigers or snakes. It's so much fun! We also like jumping rope, doing arts and crafts, and playing on the swings and monkey bars.I've had Emily over to our house for dinner a few times too. You would really like her family, Dad. Her mom makes these yummy meat pies for dinner sometimes that are kind of likeminiature chicken pot pies. They're an Australian dish that is super delicious! I'll have to get the recipe from Emily's mom so maybe you can make them for us sometime.Anyway Dad, I just wanted to tell you all about my great new friend Emily. She really is the best and I'm so lucky to have her as my buddy. I can't wait for you to meet her and her family! I'll make sure to introduce you guys as soon as you get back home.Well, I better go do my homework now. I'll talk to you again soon! Love you!Your daughter,[Your name]篇6Dear Dad,How are you doing? I hope you're having a great time at work. I miss you a lot, but I wanted to tell you all about my new friend, Jessica. She's the coolest person ever!Jessica just moved to our neighborhood a couple of weeks ago. She's in my class at school, and we instantly became best friends. You know how I've always wanted a sister? Well, Jessica is like the sister I never had!The first time I met Jessica was during recess. I was playing on the swings all by myself when she came up to me and asked if she could join me. I said yes, of course, and we started talking. She told me that her family had just moved here from another city because her dad got a new job.Jessica is really funny and makes me laugh all the time. She's also really good at telling stories. During lunch, she'll always have these crazy adventures to share about her imaginary friend, Sparkles the Unicorn. I know unicorns aren't real, but Jessica's stories make them seem so alive! One thing I really like about Jessica is that she's not afraid to be herself. She doesn't care what other people think of her. She wears her hair in these crazy styles, like pigtails or even pigtail buns! And she always wears the most colorful and mismatched clothes. It's like she's a walking rainbow!Jessica is also really smart. She's the best in our class at math and science. Whenever I'm stuck on a problem, she's always there to help me out. She explains things in a way that's easy to understand, and she's really patient, too.But Jessica's not just good at school stuff. She's also really talented at art and music. She can draw the most amazingpictures, and she's teaching me how to play the recorder. I'm not very good at it yet, but Jessica says I'm getting better every day.Whenever we have free time at school, Jessica and I like to play make-believe games. We'll pretend to be secret agents or space explorers or even princesses in a faraway kingdom. Jessica has the most creative ideas, and we always have so much fun together.Jessica's also really kind and caring. She always sticks up for me when other kids are being mean or bullying me. One time, this boy named Tommy was making fun of my glasses, and Jessica told him to stop being so rude. She said that she thought my glasses made me look smart and cute.Speaking of cute, Jessica has the most adorable pet hamster named Nibbles. Whenever I go over to Jessica's house, Nibbles is always so excited to see me. He'll run around in his little hamster ball and do all sorts of funny tricks. Jessica taught him how to roll over and play dead!Jessica's family is really nice, too. Her mom is always baking the most delicious treats, like chocolate chip cookies and brownies. And her dad is really funny and tells the best jokes. They're both so welcoming and make me feel like part of their family.I know you're probably wondering why I'm telling you all of this, Dad. Well, it's because I want you to know how important Jessica is to me. She's my best friend in the whole world, and I love her like a sister. I hope that one day, you can meet her and see how amazing she is.I miss you so much, Dad, and I can't wait for you to come home. Maybe when you do, we can invite Jessica and her family over for dinner. I know you'd all get along great!Love,Your Daughter。
孤注一掷影评英语作文100字左右
孤注一掷影评英语作文100字左右全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1All In Movie ReviewWow, the movie "All In" was super exciting! It's about this guy named Jake who loves playing poker. Poker is a card game where you have to get the best hand to win all the money in the middle of the table. Jake is really good at it, but he owes a lot of money to some bad guys because of his gambling. The bad guys are these mean Russian mobsters led by a scary dude named Malkovich. They want Jake to pay them back all the money he owes, but Jake doesn't have enough. So Malkovich gives him one chance to win it all back in this crazy underground poker tournament in Barcelona.Jake has to get the money together to buy into the tournament, so he asks his rich friend Charlie to loan it to him. Charlie is hesitant because he knows Jake has a gambling problem, but he eventually agrees. I felt really bad for Charlie because Jake is risking his money too! When Jake gets to Barcelona, the tournament is way more intense than he expected. There are all these shady characters and everyone is cutthroat, trying to outwit each other. The coolest player is this Russian guy named Ari who always wears sunglasses and a hood. He's Jake's biggest competition. There are some really nice scenes in the movie of the beautiful city of Barcelona too. Jake stays in this awesome villa overlooking the beach. I want to go there on vacation! As the tournament goes on, Jake starts doing better and better. But then some crazy stuff happens - Malkovich's mobster guys kidnap Charlie to try to make Jake lose on purpose! The suspense had me on the edge of my seat.I don't want to ruin the ending, but let's just say there are some major twists and turns. Some people get betrayed and there's this epic final hand where millions of dollars are on the line. The cards get dramatically revealed and you legitimately can't predict who will win. It's so thrilling!Overall, I loved All In. It has funny parts, sad parts, and is pretty much non-stop excitement after the first half hour. The poker scenes are really cool to watch, even if you don't understand all the strategy. You get invested in Jake's journey and are rooting for him to win the whole way. It's kind of a long movie at over 2 hours, but it doesn't feel like it because so much happens. I gave it 5 out of 5 stars because it keeps you entertained from beginning to end. The acting is fantastic too, especially the Russian villains who are super convincing. If you like gambling movies like Rounders or casino heist flicks, you'll definitely love All In. It has great characters, beautiful locations, and a can't-miss final act that will keep you guessing. I watched it twice already because it's just that good! I can't wait to get the DVD so I can watch the deleted scenes. Don't miss this one in theaters!篇2All In Movie ReviewWow, the movie "All In" was really exciting! It's about these four friends who love playing poker together. Tommy is the main character and he's pretty good at poker, but not as good as his friend Ben. Ben is like a poker genius or something. At the beginning, Tommy and his friends just play poker for fun after school and on weekends. But then Tommy's mom loses her job and they might have to move away because they can't pay the rent anymore. That's when Tommy gets the idea to entera big poker tournament in Las Vegas to try and win the huge prize money. His friends want to help him, so they start practicing poker a ton to get really good. It's funny because they turn Tommy's basement into a poker room with snacks and everything. I laughed when they had a disagreement about whether Doritos or Cheetos are the best poker snack food. Personally, I prefer Doritos but I can see both sides.Anyway, they work super hard and Tommy even gets this old poker legend to be their coach and teach them all his best tips and strategies. The coach is kind of grumpy at first but he ends up caring about the kids. There's a scene where he gives this inspiring speech about how poker is as much about reading people as it is about the cards. Deep stuff for elementary schoolers to ponder! So after months of practice, they finally go to Vegas for the tournament. But (spoiler alert!!) the mean principal from their school finds out and tries to stop them because he thinks poker is a waste of time. He actually has the police waiting for them at the tournament to arrest them! Can you believe that? What a jerk principal. The tournament scenes are the best part. You get to see the kids using their poker skills against these serious grown-up poker pros. At times it's nail-bitingly tense. I was on the edge of my seat rooting for them to win some big hands. The cards and chips looked so real on screen.Without giving away too much, I'll just say that some crazy stuff goes down and there's this big dramatic conclusion where you're not sure if they're going to be able to enter or even stay in the tournament. It's an emotional rollercoaster!Overall, I give All In 5 out of 5 stars. It has funny jokes, cool poker action, and a great underdog story. It shows that even elementary schoolers shouldn't be underestimated and that we can achieve amazing things if we work together as a team. The movie really inspired me to start learning poker myself. Who knows, maybe I'll be a famous poker pro someday! So yeah, I 100% recommend All In, especially if you're a kid who loves movies about friendship, gambling (for fun money only of course), and beating the odds. Just make sure you hide it from any mean principals in your neighborhood! Haha.篇3All In Movie ReviewWow, the movie "All In" was awesome! It's about these college buddies who really love playing poker. They dream of becoming pro poker players and winning the big tournament in Las Vegas. But first they have to raise enough money to even get into the tournament! The main guy is Ben Campbell, played by Jim Sturgess. He's a genius math whiz at MIT who has had a hard life growing up poor. Ben is super smart but doesn't have any money for college. His dream is to become a doctor and go to Harvard Medical School. But the tuition costs a bazillion dollars!Ben's best friend is Jill Taylor, played by CatherineZeta-Jones. Jill is really pretty and cares a lot about Ben. She tries to talk him out of his crazy get-rich-quick scheme of counting cards and taking Vegas for all its worth. But Ben is determined to make his fortune quickly so he can pay for medical school.Ben's other friend is Miles Connolly, played by Josh Gad. Miles is the funny class clown who gets Ben into all kinds of trouble. He's a total goofball but also a math genius like Ben. Miles convinces Ben that the two of them can count cards easily and make millions. So Ben gets involved with this sketchy underground club of students who count cards. The leader is this shady older guynamed Mickey Rosa, played by Robert Duvall. He's cranky and mean but also really good at counting cards and beating casinos.Mickey trains Ben and his friends how to count cards without getting caught. They start off small at local card rooms outside Boston. When they get good enough, they head off to Vegas for spring break to take on the big casinos!Things get crazy in Vegas when the casino security team led by Laurie Bautista suspects the students are counting cards illegally. There are so many intense and suspenseful scenes where Ben and his friends have to escape casino security. The chases are so thrilling and fun to watch! My favorite part is when Ben has finally won enough money through counting cards to pay for his tuition at Harvard Medical. But then he risks everything by making one final crazy bet and going for complete and total wealth. I won't spoil what happens but just say the ending is awesome!I loved this movie so much. The acting was great from the fresh-faced students and grizzled casino vets. The casino scenes in Vegas were electric with all the neon lights and ringing slot machines. And the card counting plot was so clever and exciting, even if I didn't fully understand all the math behind it.I'd rate "All In" 5 out of 5 stars! It has ample amounts of humor from the funny sidekick Miles. Plenty of romance from Ben's love interest Jill. Tons of suspense and thrills from evading the bad guy casino security team. And an inspiring underdog story of struggling students trying to make it big. What more could you want in a fun movie? I got completely sucked into the card counting world and was rooting for Ben the whole time. This is my new favorite movie! All in all (pun intended), "All In" is a must-see crowd pleaser for kids and adults alike. Even if you don't know anything about poker, you'll quickly get pulled into the card counting craze and be cackling at the humorous misadventures of Ben and crew. The stakes are sky high, the character arcs are fulfilling, and the entertainment value is through the roof. Do yourself a favor and go "All In" on this superb film!篇4All In Movie ReviewWow, the movie "All In" was totally awesome! It's about these four best friends who are all really good at playing poker. Their names are Ben, Zander,Rimma, and Ginger and they are so cool.Ben is the leader of the group and he's really brave. He comes up with the plan for them to enter the World Games of Poker tournament in Las Vegas to win back the money that his mean uncle stole from him and his dad. Zander is Ben's best bud and he's super funny. He's always cracking jokes and doing silly things that made me laugh a lot. Rimma is the smartest one and she helps them count cards and do all the poker math stuff. Ginger is the youngest and she doesn't really know how to play poker that well but she's still part of the crew.So they have to get to Las Vegas but they don't have any money for the buy-in to enter the tournament. That's when Ben gets the genius idea to start playing underground poker games to win chips and cash. They start winning everywhere they go, but then they get in trouble with these mean mobster guys who are mad they keep beating them. There's this one really scary scene where the mobsters chase them down and almost get them!Even though it was scary, that was my favorite part because the four friends were so brave. They stood up to the bullies and didn't let them push them around. That's a great lesson - you shouldn't let meanies intimidate you, you have to stand tall andbe strong. Ben was especially courageous when he stood up to the mobster boss dude. I was cheering for him! After they escape the mobsters, they finally make it to Vegas. But then there's more trouble - Ben's uncle is there and he's still being a huge jerk! He doesn't want the kids to enter the tournament. But the four friends outsmarts him by making a deal to buy-in using some of the uncle's illegal earnings that they have proof of. It's a complete twist! The tournament scenes are amazing. It shows all the intense poker action up close. You can see Ben and his friends doing crazy bluffs and big risks. Rimma uses her smarts to count all the cards and calculate the odds to help them make the right moves. Even little Ginger gets in on the action at one point and makes a shocking play that stunned me! I was on the edge of my seat watching it all unfold.Overall, I give "All In" a million out of ten stars! It has awesome main characters that you can't help but root for. There's so much cool poker action and suspense. And it teaches great lessons about friendship, courage, and never giving up when the stakes are high. It's truly one of the best and most fun movies I've ever seen. I could watch it over and over again! If youhaven't seen "All In" yet, you are seriously missing out. Go watch it right now - trust me, you'll love it as much as I did!篇5Gi Wing Movie ReviewHi everyone! My name is Timmy and I'm 10 years old. I just watched this really cool movie called "Gi Wing" and I wanted to tell you all about it!The movie is set a long time ago in ancient China. It's about this guy named Wei Xiao who is a super talented martial arts master. He can do all these amazing kicks and punches and flips that look so awesome! At the start of the movie, Wei Xiao is just minding his own business trying to live a peaceful life. But then some bad guys come along and cause a whole bunch of trouble. The main bad guy is this mean lord named Ngan who wants to take over the region. Ngan is super greedy and doesn't care about hurting innocent people to get what he wants. He sends his fighters to attack Wei Xiao's village and it's really scary! The fighters burn down houses and hurt a lot of people. Wei Xiao tries to stop them but the bad guys are too strong and he gets beaten up pretty badly. With his village destroyed, Wei Xiao has to go on the run. He meets up with this other martial artist named Ying Nong who agrees to help train him to get stronger. Ying Nong lives out in the wilderness and makes Wei Xiao do all these crazy exercises like climbing up waterfalls, meditating under freezing cold water, and catching fish with his bare hands! It looks really hard but Wei Xiao never gives up.After months of intense training in the mountains, Wei Xiao's martial arts skills get totally awesome. His punches are like bombs and his kicks are like lightning! He's definitely ready to take on those mean bad guys again. So Wei Xiao and Ying Nong go back to face Lord Ngan and his fighters. There's this huge battle at the end with so much crazy action! Wei Xiao is taking out bad guys left and right with his martial arts. Ying Nong is fighting off a bunch of them too. The good guys are winning at first but then Lord Ngan does something really sneaky and captures Ying Nong! It looks like all hope is lost. But then Wei Xiao remembers everything Ying Nong taught him about having courage and never giving up. So he goes to rescue his friend and they team up for an final fight against Lord Ngan. The fight is absolutely epic! There's punches and kicks flying everywhere. At one point Wei Xiao gets knocked through awall! But he doesn't stay down. He gets back up and keeps on fighting with all his heart. Finally, after what felt like forever, Wei Xiao defeats the evil Lord Ngan with this crazy move where he does a backflip and kicks Ngan right in the face! Ngan goes down like a ton of bricks. The good guys win and everyone is so happy and cheering! It's such an awesome moment.I loved this movie so much! The action scenes with all the kung fu fighting were just unbelievable. I could hardly even keep up with all the moves they were doing. And the story of Wei Xiao working so hard to save his village and defeat the bad guys was really inspiring. It shows that if you believe in yourself and never give up, you can overcome any obstacle no matter how tough it seems. The performances by the actors were also fantastic, especially the guy who played Wei Xiao. You could really feel his determination and fighting spirit. And the scenery with the beautiful mountains and forests looked just breathtaking.Overall, I think "Gi Wing" is an instant classic martial arts movie. It has awesome action, an amazing underdog story, and really cool heroes you can't help but root for. I definitely recommend it to anyone who likes fun, exciting movies withkick-butt fight scenes. Two thumbs up from me! Thanks for reading my review!篇6All In Movie ReviewWow, the movie "All In" was so awesome! It's about these four best friends named Ben, Mikey, Batsy, and Andy. They are in 5th grade and love playing this super cool card game called Blackbelt Grand Master. It's kind of like Pokémon but with martial arts moves instead of Pokémon. In the beginning, Ben is the best player and has the rarest, most powerful cards. His friends are a little jealous but they are still best buds. Then this really mean kid named Dudey shows up. Dudey is a bully and he's like the ultimate Blackbelt Grand Master player. He has ultra rare cards that can beat anyone!Dudey starts picking on Ben and his friends, making fun of them for being noobs at the game. He even rips up some of Ben's best cards! Can you believe that? I would have cried if that happened to my cards. Dudey is such a meanie! So Ben gets really mad and challenges Dudey to a huge tournament. The winner gets the other person's entire cardcollection. Ben's friends think he's crazy for risking everything, but Ben says he has to stand up to Dudey no matter what.Getting ready for the big tournament is really hard work. Ben and his friends practice their card strategies day and night. They have to figure out the perfect moves to take down Dudey's powerful cards. Ben even gets some tips from his uncle, who was a Blackbelt Grand Master champion when he was a kid! Finally, the day of the tournament arrives. The arena is packed with kids cheering for Ben or Dudey. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! The games were SO intense and kept going back and forth. Sometimes Ben was winning, sometimes Dudey. I bit all my fingernails off from the suspense!I don't want to ruin how it ends, but let's just say the outcome was totally unexpected. Ben learns a really big lesson about what's truly important in life. The storyline had me laughing, cheering, and maybe even tearing up a little bit.The coolest part was how they made the Blackbelt Grand Master cards come to life with mind-blowing animation. Whenever characters played a card, you could see the martial arts warriors battling it out right on the big screen! The fight scenes looked better than in most superhero movies.I also loved all the funny jokes and friendship moments between Ben, Mikey, Batsy and Andy. They were such a goofy but lovable crew. Kind of like me and my best buddies at school!Basically, "All In" has something for everyone – action, comedy, cool animation, and an inspiring message about facing your fears and doing the right thing. I'm already bugging my parents to buy me the Blu-ray when it comes out. I give this an 11 out of 10! Two thumbs WAY up! It's my new favorite movie of all time.So what are you waiting for? Go watch "All In" right now! Just make sure to bring a jumbo tub of popcorn because you won't want to miss a single second. Trust me, it's THAT good!。

介绍你的好朋友6年级英语作文60字全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Best Friend SarahI have known Sarah since we were in kindergarten together. That was six whole years ago! Sarah is my very best friend in the entire world. We do everything together and tell each other absolutely everything. I don't know what I would do without her.Sarah and I first became friends on the very first day of kindergarten. We were both really shy and didn't know anyone else, so we just kind of stuck together. From that day on, we were inseparable! We would always partner up for activities and projects. We sat next to each other at lunch and played together at recess every single day. Even back then, we could talk for hours and hours about absolutely anything and everything. Now that we're in 6th grade, not much has changed between us. We're still just as close as we were way back in kindergarten, if not closer. I think our families are even friends now too because our moms are always chatting and making playdates for us. It's really convenient that Sarah lives just downthe street from me. That way we can ride our bikes to each other's houses after school nearly every day.One of my favorite things about Sarah is how funny she is. She can always make me laugh no matter what kind of mood I'm in. Sometimes she does it intentionally by telling jokes or doing silly impersonations. Other times she's just naturally funny in how she says things or reacts to situations. I have laughed so hard with her that I've had tears running down my face or even accidently peed my pants once or twice! Sarah never judges me for things like that though. She's a really good and loyal friend. Not only is Sarah hilarious, but she's also super smart and good at school. I'm decent at most subjects but Sarah is at the very top of our class. She gets straight A's on every test and assignment without even really trying that hard. I don't know how she does it! Whenever I'm struggling to understand something, Sarah is always patient and takes the time to explain it to me in a way that makes sense. I probably wouldn't be passing math this year if it wasn't for her tutoring me. Sarah is just so darn smart!Despite being a total brainiac, Sarah is really well-rounded too. She's fantastic at sports like soccer, basketball, and running track and field events. She is one of the fastest runners in ourgrade! I try my best to keep up but she always blows past me. Sarah is also really artistic and creative. She's an incredible painter, drawer, and can literally make anything amazing out of crafting supplies. I'm awful at all that artsy stuff so I'm constantly in awe of her talents. What I admire most about Sarah is her kind heart though. She is always sticking up for anyone being bullied or treated unfairly. She somehow manages to be kind to every single person, even the ones who aren't very nice. Whenever I'm having a bad day or upset about something, Sarah knows just what to say to make me feel better. She never judges me for feeling anxious, sad, angry, or any other emotion. Instead, she validates how I feel and offers a supportive ear to listen. Sarah is honestly the most caring and compassionate person I know.I feel so lucky to have Sarah as my best friend. We've been through so much together throughout elementary school already. We've had ups and downs, good times and bad, but our friendship has only grown stronger. I can't imagine facing middle school or any other part of life without her by my side. Sarah is truly my better half and like a sister to me. I don't know what I would do without her!No matter what the future holds for us, I know Sarah and I will always be best friends. We've already promised each other that we'll be friends forever. Even if we篇2My Best Friend EmilyHey there! I want to tell you all about my awesome best friend Emily. Emily and I have known each other since we were just little kids in preschool. We've been through so much together over the years and she's like a sister to me.Emily is super smart and loves learning new things. She always gets really good grades in school, especially in subjects like math and science. I remember one time in 4th grade, we had this huge science project due on the life cycle of butterflies. While I was stressing out about it, Emily already had everything planned and organized weeks in advance! She made this amazing model and display showing all the different stages. Emily ended up getting the highest grade in the class. I don't know what I'd do without her help sometimes! But Emily isn't just a brain - she's also tons of fun to be around. She has the funniest sense of humor and can always make me laugh, even when I'm feeling really down. Like this onetime, we were at recess playing on the swings. I missed the swing while trying to jump on and totally ate it, falling right into a mud puddle. I was so embarrassed and started crying. But then Emily did the most ridiculous belly flop into the same puddle, covering herself in mud too. We both ended up laughing so hard about how silly we looked. Emily's the best at cheering me up.She's also super creative and artistic. Emily loves drawing, painting, and anything involving arts and crafts. Her bedroom at home is like an art studio! The walls are covered with her amazing paintings and drawings. Whenever it's someone's birthday, she handmakes the most beautiful cards with custom designs. The cards she makes are so much better than anything you could buy at the store. I keep every card she's ever made me.Emily is kind and caring too. She's always sticking up for other kids who are getting picked on and never judges anyone. She treats everyone with respect, no matter what. I've seen her befriend the new kid at school who didn't have any friends yet. That's just the type of person she is. If Emily sees someone in need, she's the first one to lend a hand without being asked. It's really cool how Emily is interested in so many different things too. She loves reading, being outdoors, trying new foods, you name it. She'll try almost anything at least once. Over thesummer, we went camping with her family and Emily was juggling like 5 different activities each day. One minute she was reading under a tree, the next she was swimming in the lake, then making friendship bracelets, then exploring the hiking trails.I get exhausted just thinking about keeping up with her energy!Even though Emily has tons of other friends and is involved in a million activities, she always makes time for me. That's what makes her such a great best friend. Like when I broke my arm last year and was stuck at home for weeks, Emily came over every single day to keep me company and help me with my schoolwork. She went so far above and beyond, getting me books from the library, bringing me my favorite snacks, and just hanging out keeping my spirits up. I'm so grateful for a friend like her.Emily pushes me to work harder, dream bigger, and be a better person overall. She motivates me to get good grades, try new activities, and step outside my comfort zone more. At the same time, she accepts me for who I am and never judges me. Emily sees the best in people and brings out the best in me. I feel so lucky to have her as my número uno bestie! So there you have it, that's my amazing friend Emily! She's basically a real-life superhero with all of her intelligence, creativity, kindness, and zest for life. I don't know where I'd be without such an incredible friend by my side through it all. Here's to many more years of adventures, laughter, and making memories with my main girl Emily!篇3My Best Friend in the Whole Wide WorldEveryone has a best friend, right? Someone who you can tell all your secrets to and who will always be there for you no matter what. Someone who understands you better than anyone else and makes you laugh until your stomach hurts. Well, that's what Jessica is to me. She's my very best friend in the entire universe!Jessica and I have known each other since we were just little kids in kindergarten. I still remember the first day I met her like it was yesterday. It was the first week of school and I was feeling really shy and nervous. I didn't know anyone and I was too afraid to talk to the other kids. But then Jessica came over to me during recess and asked if I wanted to play on the swings with her. Just like that, we became instant friends! From that day on, we were absolutely inseparable. We did everything together – had sleepovers all the time, played endless games of make-believe, and got into tons of silly mischief. Wewere partners in crime, double trouble! Like that one time we snuck into the kitchen and made a giant mess trying to bake cookies. Or when we put on a magic show for our parents and absolutely bombed it. We laughed so hard that day, I thought I would never stop!As we got older, our friendship just kept getting stronger and stronger. We went through elementary school side by side, dealing with mean kids, tricky homework, you name it. No matter what challenges came our way, we faced them together as a team. Jessica always had my back, and I had hers. We could take on the world! There's so many things I love about Jessica, I don't even know where to start. She's one of the kindest, most caring people I know. She never makes fun of anyone and always sticks up for the underdog. She's incredibly smart too – she gets amazing grades and is always reading these giant books. I don't know how she does it! Jessica is artistic as well, and an incredible painter. Her landscapes could easily hang in a museum. But most of all, Jessica is someone who always makes me smile. No matter how gloomy I'm feeling, she can cheer me up in an instant with her goofy jokes and hilarious impressions. She has this way of looking at the bright side of things that makesany problem seem manageable. Jessica is my sunshine on a cloudy day.Looking back, those fights seem so silly now. They could never break our bond. Jessica and I have been through way too much together. We have so many amazing memories that will last a lifetime. That's the magic of having a true best friend. No matter what happens, you'll get through it all as long as you have each other. Now we're in 6th grade, the highest grade in our elementary school. Soon, we'll be heading off to junior high and that's kind of scary. So much is going to change – new school, new teachers, new challenges. But there's one thing I know for sure will never change. Jessica and I will always be best friends, no matter where life takes us.When I think about what our friendship means, that's what comes to mind. A bond that can never be broken. A magical kind of love that only true best friends can understand. Jessica is the peanut butter to my jelly, the cheese to my macaroni. We just clicked from the very first moment we met, and I know that we'll be friends until the very end. That's what Jessica means to me. She's my partner in crime, my rock, my light in the dark. She's family. A best friend like noother. And I count my lucky stars every single day that I have her in my life.篇4My Best Friend KellyI have a really awesome best friend named Kelly. We've known each other since kindergarten when we were just 5 years old! Kelly is super fun and we always have the best times together.Kelly has pretty brown hair that's a little longer than shoulder length. She usually wears it in a ponytail or with a cute headband. Her eyes are a pretty green color. Kelly is about the same height as me, maybe an inch taller. She's really good at sports like soccer, basketball, and running fast.Even though Kelly is really athletic, she's also really smart too. She gets good grades and is near the top of our class. Kelly's favorite subjects are math and science. She's amazing at multiplying big numbers in her head! I have to use my fingers or a calculator for that stuff. In science class, Kelly always gets picked to do the experiments because she's really careful and follows the directions perfectly. My favorite thing about Kelly is her great sense of humor. She's always cracking jokes and making silly faces to make me and our friends laugh. Sometimes she gets us laughing so hard that we can barely breathe! Kelly doesn't make fun of people in a mean way though. She just has a goofy, playful personality.Kelly and I have tons of fun together after school and on the weekends. We both live in the neighborhood behind the elementary school, so it's easy for us to go to each other's houses. Kelly's mom makes the most delicious chocolate chip cookies. Whenever I go to Kelly's house, she always offers me some with a big glass of cold milk. Yum!At my house, Kelly and I like to play outside a lot. We have a big backyard with a swingset and sandbox. Sometimes we pretend we're explorers searching for treasure or scientists on an important mission. We make up crazy games and characters. Our imaginations go totally wild!We also love having sleepovers at each other's houses. We stay up late watching movies, telling scary stories, and pigging out on junk food. My mom makes the best popcorn with milk duds and Sno-Caps mixed in. Kelly always wants to do makeovers and crazy hairstyles on each other too. We end up looking so silly but it's hilarious. This summer, our families are going camping together at Yellowstone National Park. I can't wait! Kelly and I plan to go on lots of hikes to look for bears, bison, and other cool wildlife. We're going to make s'mores over the campfire and sleep out under the stars. It's going to be an epic adventure!Kelly has been my very best friend for as long as I can remember. We went from finger-painting together in kindergarten to taking on 6th grade together now. No matter what, we always have each other's backs. Whenever I'm feeling sad or upset about something, Kelly knows just how to cheer me up. She's the most supportive, loyal friend anyone could ask for.I'm so lucky and grateful to have an amazing friend like Kelly in my life. Our friendship is stronger than ever, and I know it will stay that way as we get older and older. Kelly is definitely my sister from another mister! I don't know what I'd do without her. Here's to many more years of awesome memories and crazy fun times with my bestie!篇5My Best Friend JakeJake has been my best friend since we were in kindergarten. We met on the first day of school when we were both 5 years old.I remember it like it was yesterday. I was really shy and didn't know anyone. Jake came up to me during recess and asked if I wanted to play tag with him and some other kids. From that moment on, we became inseparable!Jake is the coolest kid I know. He's really funny and always makes me laugh with his silly jokes and goofy faces. But he's also super smart and gets good grades. I'm not as good at school as he is, but Jake never makes me feel bad about it. Instead, he helps me with my homework and explains things in a way I can understand. One of my favorite things about Jake is how adventurous he is. He's always up for trying new things, whether it's a new sport, a new video game, or even just a new food. Sometimes I'm a little hesitant to try new stuff, but Jake encourages me and makes it seem exciting rather than scary.Jake is also a really good friend to have around when things get tough. Last year, my parents got divorced and I was really upset about it. Jake was there for me the whole time. He would come over after school and we'd just hang out, play video games, and not even talk about my parents if I didn't want to. Having a friend like that made the whole situation a lot easier. We have so many fun memories together from over the years. Like the time we had a huge water balloon fight in Jake's backyard and ended up completely drenched. Or the time we went camping with Jake's family and got chased by a skunk! We've laughed until our stomachs hurt more times than I can count. Now that we're in 6th grade, Jake and I are starting to grow up and change. We're not little kids anymore. But no matter how much we change, I know our friendship will remain strong. Jake is like a brother to me, and I can't imagine my life without him in it. We've been through so much together already.I'm really looking forward to starting middle school next year and taking on all the new adventures and challenges it will bring...with my best friend by my side, like always. I can talk to Jake about anything and everything, and he never judges me. We may drive each other crazy sometimes, but isn't that what best friends are for?Jake is truly one-of-a-kind. He's brave, caring, hilarious, and an all-around great person. I'm so lucky to have him as my best friend. I don't know what the future holds, but I do know that no matter what, Jake and I will be friends forever.篇6My Best Friend JessicaJessica is my very best friend in the whole wide world! We've known each other since kindergarten and have been inseparable ever since. Jessica is the coolest, funniest, and nicest person I know. She has long, curly brown hair that bounces when she walks. Her eyes are a pretty shade of green that sparkle when she smiles. And let me tell you, Jessica smiles a lot! She has the biggest, brightest smile that lights up any room she's in. Her smile is so contagious that I can't help but smile back whenever I see it.Jessica is super smart too. She always gets good grades and is at the top of our class. Jessica is really patient with me and explains things in a way that I can understand.Even though she's so smart, Jessica is also really funny and silly. Jessica just has this way of brightening everyone's day with her bubbly personality. My favorite thing about Jessica is how kind and caring she is. If someone is having a bad day or feeling left out, Jessica is always the first one to notice and try to cheer them up. She includes everyone in games during recess and makes sure no one feels left out. Jessica is the kind of friend who would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it.Jessica loves all kinds of sports and activities. She's on the school soccer team and is an amazing player. Jessica's mom makes the best chocolate chip cookies and we stuff ourselves silly with them while watching movies all night. Nomatter what we're doing, Jessica and I always have the best time together laughing and being silly.Jessica's family is just as awesome as she is. Her mom and dad are so nice and fun. They're always taking us places like amusement parks, bowling alleys, or the skating rink. Jessica's little brother Tyler is only 3 years old but he's a real cutie. He follows Jessica and me around everywhere because he looks up to his big sister so much. Tyler thinks we're the coolest kids on the planet!I feel so lucky to have a friend like Jessica in my life. We've made so many amazing memories together over the years. We survived the drama of elementary school side-by-side through good times and bad. Jessica was there for me when I was being bullied in 3rd grade and I was there for her when her grandmother passed away last year. We've supported each other through everything.Jessica is not just my best friend, she's like a sister to me. I can't imagine going through life without her by my side. When I think about middle school and high school next year, I'm not worried at all because I know Jessica and I will take on those years together just like we've taken on everything else. As longas I have my bestie Jessica, I know I can get through anything life throws my way. She's simply the best friend a kid could ask for!。

Puerto Rico n. /关于英美的主要节日,这里也做一个介绍: New Years Day:新年,元旦,1月1日;St.Valentine's Day:圣瓦伦丁节(情人节)2月14日;All Fools's Day or April Fools's Day:愚人节4月1日;Good Friday:耶稣受难日(复活节前的星期五);Easter:复活节(春分月圆后第一个星期日,4月);Easter Monday复活节后的星期一;Holy Thursday:耶稣升天节(复活节后的40天的星期四);May Day or Labour Day:五一劳动节;the Spring Bank Holiday:春假(英国5月最后一个星期一);Mother's Day:母亲节(5月第二个星期日);Memorial Day:阵亡将士纪念日(美国,5月26日);Independence Day:美国独立纪念日(7月4日);the Summer Bank Holiday:夏季公假(英国,8月最后一个星期一);Columbus Day:哥伦布日(10月12日);Halloween:万圣节前夕(10月31日);Hallowmas:万圣节(11月1日);Armistice day or Veterans Day:第一,二次世界大战的停战纪念日(11月11日);Thanksgiving Day:感恩节(在美国是11月的第二个星期一);Christmas Eve:圣诞节前夜(12月24日);Christmas Day:圣诞节(12月25日);Boxing Day:节礼日(圣诞节次日,如遇星期日,推迟一天)。
