第一部分教材分析本节课选用教材是语文出版社出版的《英语》基础模块下册，本套教材以发展学生的英语应用能力为目标，以生活和职场英语应用为指向，适合旅游管理专业的学生有效提高听说能力及听读能力。
教材内容新鲜生动，题材广泛，形式多样，实用性强。
本单元谈论的话题是污染。
本节课学习的内容是本单元的第三课时，讲授Listening and Speaking 部分，课型为听说课。
听力材料中的三段短文训练学生听懂文中关于环境污染问题的叙述，正确填写表格，培养学生在听的过程中获取关键词，进而完成听力练习，同时培养学生的速记能力。
本课时内容贴近学生生活，是学生们比较喜欢的话题之一，且对于学生将来的职业生涯有一定启发意义，所以有利于学生间展开交流。
重点词和词组7个，一个较为复杂的句子。
为了达到听力训练与口语能力训练相结合，提高学生较差的口语水平的目的，通过分析本节课的教学内容，我制定了以下教学目标及教学重点与难点：1. 语言知识目标1）熟练掌握关于环境污染问题的词汇；2）理解短语“take good care of ”; “what is more”；“thousands of”; “have an effect on/upon”。
2. 语言技能目标1）能听懂关于环境污染问题的叙述；2）能与其他人讨论引起环境污染的原因以及解决办法。
3. 情感态度目标1) 在有趣的主题激励下，师生互动，生生互动，调动学生的学习兴趣，加强教师的亲和力，增进彼此的了解与沟通，充分发挥情感教学的优势。
通过完成一项任务，增强学习自信心；2）激发学习兴趣，用英语来谈论生活中的实际问题。
