文|郑芸一、单元内容分析本单元是译林版《英语》六(上)Unit7Protect the Earth。
主题内容为“人与自然”,主题群为“环境保护”,子主题内容为“人与自然相互依存,践行绿色生活理念”。
就主题意义而言,旨在通过对此话题的讨论引导学生紧密联系生活实际,热爱地球,保护地球(英语教师教学用书,2020)。
当前,全球面临着资源短缺、环境污染、生态破坏这三大危机。
作为地球公民,教师应引导学生和Mike共同成长,通过探讨本单元话题“保护地球”,从书本迁移到实际生活,让学生在语篇理解和体验中意识到人与自然互相依存的关系,从而培养学生热爱地球、保护地球的意识,践行绿色生活的理念,勇于担当,积极作为。
就文本呈现方式而言,属于混合文本,包含连续性文本Story time,Sound time&Checkout time与非连续性文本Grammar time,Fun time,Culture time& Cartoon time。
单元核心语篇Story time为四段并列式文本,四段内容分别围绕小标题展开,结构一致,围绕“Why should we...?”和“How should we...?”两个关键问题,并运用句型“We should...”为保护地球提供具体的建议。
文中配有四张插图,呈现出环境污染和生态破坏的形势严峻,以及人类浪费资源的现象。
Grammar time呈现了本单元核心句型“We use...to...”和“We should(not)...”。
