Although road networks were designed small-scale, the macroscopic transportation was designed
to extend in all directions. By the time Jinan CBD completes, a new transportation hub will be in
service, connecting Yaoqiang International Airport, the new East railway station, Jinan railway
station and Jinan West railway station. New city LRT lines were also planned, joining 4 BRT lines,
to form a new public transportation network.
